LOL@ Everybody complaining about "clutter". That s probably why everyone complains about the hitting difficulty. Keep your eye on the ball, and stop thinking about the "clutter".

I'm actually constantly reminded from the way it disappears off the screen. In theory, it would actually be more beneficial for my bat if it just permanently stayed on the screen. Kind of the same thing as if you send a runner, especially from second base.

Some people prefer to play game a certain way like you do. Some prefer realism so they take out whatever they can while others don't mind. It doesn't mean you are any more of a "real man" because of how people play this game.

Some play a rookie or veteran, some play with drastic sliders tweaks, in the end, enjoy the game how you want to enjoy it and leave others be. I'm pretty sure you will be able to remove whatever you want on the options menu like before.

It's still the same to me. The only difference is that my Ignore list has grown in the past couple of months.

"If you don't have haters, you're doing something wrong."
-Unfunny comedian from the Friday movie nobody likes.

Just wanted to say apologies to anyone who I offended. Clearly other people value the devs posting here more than me. No need for me to go raining on their parade.

I really hope we can remove the clutter. I've always hated having all that stuff on screen especially the power/normal swing thing

Of course, nothing that has to do with a video game has anything to do with being a "real man". I'm just saying, jeez, why do people always have to find stuff to complain about. I mean I know people want realism, but the fact is, it is still a game. If you're gonna complain at least let it be about something worthwhile like Guess Pitch, or all the RTTS bugs.

I saw people complaining about the logo being on the score display. Are you freaking serious?!

Liking the new changes I'm seeing. Might have to get back into the PS3 business.
Darn you SCEA!

I was going to poke fun at stuff like this by posting a complaint as to why the developers haven't gotten off their lazy butts and ported this to the Xbox.
But then I figured there'd be a few members who wouldn't catch the joke and then I'd get banned. Hahaha!

I'm assuming you're referencing harping on topics and not simply mentioning the notion that they could be improved, as it's really all subjective. What's important to one person is not to another, etc, etc.

I will again point out that this is a thread about the score bug, screens, etc. Some things are brought up simply in the course of the topic at hand. While it may be a relatively minor aspect, mentioning more pressing elements like game play, franchise, etc would be off-topic here. It's a two-way street. If people are allowed to point out what they like about the new stuff, people can point out what they'd prefer changed (within reason, of course).

Obviously, it should be done with respect to both Russell and the rest of the dev team who posts here and with respect for the privilege of having direct feedback in the process as well (not to mention awareness of TOS and just general civility, at that). I'm merely responding to the notion that it's somehow ridiculous to make critical commentary about something simply because it's small or not of popular concern. Personally, I don't think that much about accessories, for example, but I don't begrudge people who would like to see more variety, branding, etc. After all, it's the "little things" this game is praised for (and I'm sure we're still in for many nice surprises in that regard again as well, well beyond what's already been revealed )

Anyway, like has been said again and again, it should be a dead issue for now as we all know what we are getting in that regard since Russell himself has already addressed it. Plus, we're about to get into the heart of information flow. I'm sure we'll all have plenty to be excited about in the coming weeks!

I concur. Nothing is too small to complain about (or compliment), and as long as everything is kept in perspective, and respectful, I don't really see the issue.

Right on men.
One of the things that makes the Show great are the 'little' things.

if you could add the option when to celebrate like hitting a go ahead homer no celebrating and how much you celebrate that would be awesome and that could affect a players ego and then big city teams would be more prone to have big headed guys until new management comes in like the cubs with big z... that way manager personalities would also be realistic. you could add interviews too. because i'm tired of me guy jumping around like a lunatic when he hits a homer and i'm losing by 5... love the rest of the game though

if you could add the option for when created players celebrate... like hitting a go ahead homer late in the game, not celebrating at all and being modest... and how much you celebrate that would be awesome and that could affect a players ego and then big city teams would be more prone to have big headed guys until new management comes in like the cubs with big z... that way manager personalities would also be realistic. you could add interviews too. because i'm tired of my guy jumping around like a lunatic when he hits a homer and i'm losing by 5... love the rest of the game though
