Love the demo.. But just deleted it from 360. I'm ready for retail.
Just like the glitch threads I'm done with this thread.
I want to play some on the PS3 and then will delete it from there.
I swear I am starting to struggle on AA when I wouldnt before. The last couple games I actually played straight felt great.
It seems like something changed. I was winning pretty easily on Varsity before and I played as Alabama after seeing this. I won 9-6 in OT after regulation ended 3-3. I also some more penalties than before.
Well, I honestly didn't think from the prerelease hype that gameplay would be much different than last year. The tackling system is better but at times it means defenders who are right beside a ballcarrier will just ignore the fact he's there and let him run on by. The zone defense is better as well. Watching defenders slide off guys leaving there zone and picking up the next guy through is nice. The one thing that bugs me is I always seem to have one DB screw up in either man or zone on third down thus giving up lots of third and seven plus plays. That disappointing.
I see it as NCAA 11.2 and this will pass this year. It seems many of you are having fun and that's great. I wouldn't want to dissuade anyone from getting the game. I just can't enjoy another year of uneven gameplay and psychic AI DBs who make cuts before my WRs and having the CPU sit back and pick apart my defense with no pressure to speak of.
I did like seeing the Oregon QB take of and weave his way through the defense for a score. The CPU is much smarter in the open field this year.
Played the demo extensively today.....and........I can safely say this is the greatest football game ever. No other game comes close. This is as close to controlling real life football as we have ever been lol.
Ive had the game reserved at Gamestop for a few weeks now on 360 and I may go in and pay off the rest sometime this week. Im so pumped for this game!
....and I know Im gonna be running over everyone online with my Gators! Letssss gooooo!
GT: di3bol7 .......add me and send me a message saying your from OS!
So I still can't share the demo for whatever reason. It gives me The EA servers aren't available line. Is this isolated or is anyone else having the same problem?

I had the same issue but I just played a game and tried it again and it worked.
Um I'm a bit new here so don't bash on me like I've seen others bash on newbs.
Anyway, the demo BLEW ME AWAY! I say that because I haven't played NCAA since the '09 version, so I can't possibly see it as NCAA 11.5.
Still, I'm a bit skeptical, this or madden 12? It looks so promising this year I have no idea what's gonna be better.
welcome, and wait for the madden demo, and or you could rent them both for a week from like blockbuster, and well see what you think from their. Me personally I dont wanna just use 32 teams like madden i love having 119 of them to try and well the college atmosphere. Everyone has their own opinions so dont let anyone influence ur decision

I understand what ur sayin dude, I LOVE the NFL, don't really WATCH college that much, but playin the game, it's really exciting.
I'm definitely waiting on the demo, as I'm actually not planning on pre-ordering NCAA.
I love it and think it is the best by far. I love the college game and just watch NFL games for my steelers. I always buy NCAA football for me and love playing it every year, I buy madden every couple of years to play against my friends since we all have different favorite teams. The best feature they added to both games are the online seasons because of playing with friends and they dont have to crowd up my bedroom to play lol
I just played as Oregon on AA just to change it up from Heisman. I did end up tackling the punter before he punted the ball, but that is because I had this cheesey method last year and wanted to see if I could use it this year and you can, even better.
I also ran read option plays most of the game and one thing I noticed that never happened to me on Heisman was the DE would break on the RB and I would keep it like I am supposed to with Thomas, but the DE would instantly turn and tackle me after the fake hand off. I never saw this on Heisman, but it happened 3-4 times in that one AA game. I did, however, get the triple option to work all but one time.
I really am excited this year, but am still undecided about Heisman and AA. I want to go AA because the CPU scrambles more, but on Heisman I have better run success with the read option and so does the CPU. I'll probably go AA with sliders like always.
I like using the dt or de; when I use the R stick, 80% of the time my player just rolls to the ground basically giving up
I'm having the same problem. Every time I try to make a move, my D-Linemen falls straight to the ground. It's happened with all 4 teams, on varsity, on AA. I understand a d-linemen isn't gonna beat the oline every time but I don't think he's gonna fall to the ground 9 outta 10 times either. Hoping they tweak this because it is frustrating.

11.2 ? Really ? I don't know what to say.......Is this what OS has become......

To each his own. I'm glad folks like and know that each person has various things they are looking for in a video game so I don't fault anyone for their appreciation for the improvements that they see, they just aren't the improvements I wanted to see. No biggie, my expectations might be too high.
I simply stated what the game was to me. If that's what OS has become, a place for people to share their opinions, what's the issue with that?

ya see, that happens with me also, but not as often. I'd say 50% that happens, and the other 50% I get thru the lineman either using the finesse move or the power move.
Can someone tell me what the LT button (L2 on the ps3) does?
