One arm up : right stick 45 degrees up
Two arms up: LT + right stick up

I really hope they think about patching in a turbo button. I just had a fast break attempt with Rondo, and had my lay up blocked from behind by BYNUM.

I would of been fine with it if it was Lebron but Bynum???

Besides the lack of speed on a fast break, and all the shots getting blocked way too often.

I'm enjoying the demo.

Your commentary isn't synced up with the gameplay. There is like a 2 second delay from what you say and then when it actually happens in the video.

I like your vid, and the passing with the trigger will grow on you. Especially when you learn to hold it and then release when the time is right.

Edit: Make sure to hold the trigger after you start going around the screen, or else your player will be unable to move.

Sometimes I'll hold the right trigger go around the screen then release the trigger and pass to the roller. It's pretty effective once you learn to use it.

Icon passing still works it's just the ICONS dont pop up right away, but you could say Hold RB and hit B to pass to Kobe before the Icons appear.

@sportyguy nice video but the audio isnt matched up with the video like bling said...
and as far as the A.I. movements nba elite will have REAL A.I. so supposedly cpu kobe will play like real life kobe

another small impression while playing i noticed most of the nike shoes are gone! LOL hopefully they are in retail! but this game is growing on me

i did become legendary mode again as a Center and got a final score of 8.9 and got drafted #6 by the warriors lol.. thought it was pretty cool but im more of a pg/sg type of player

also pretty cool how you can get xp points for your created player by inviting your friends to d/l the demo!

Has anyone mastered the 'Gathers' yet?

I know how to initiate the gathers but having trouble finishing them.

Pretty impressed. Controls are kinda weird, but in time will get use to them. Like the new shooting and stick moves. Blocking shots and contact looks really cool. Loving the commentary also.

Wish there was replay to see the cool shots and blocked shots again.

Hold the right stick to the left or right depending on which hand the ball is in.

Guys.....I dont even know what to say about the HORRENDOUS glitch that happens about halfway through this video, it truly has to be seen to be believed. ReAnimator needs to see this ASAP.

I was literally in tears laughing so hard at what happened (I am not the guy who made this video btw)

The glitch happens at around 3:00 in the video with Bynum at center court

man i played about 4 games and here's what bothers me...

you still didn't fix the sliders EA......

From this thread it appears 90% of the guys posting picked up the controls and tried to find ways to play the game so they can do all the great things themselves on the court....

I kinda picked up the game and to try and make the CPU play some b-ball.

Why would you leave out the number system again this year and why take away half the sliders to customize cpu gameplay?

I couldn't stomach the poor AI on Pro level or All-Star so i cranked this baby up to Super Star and Kobe became much more aggressive in attacking me off the dribble which i loved.

I turned the shotblocking all the way down because i don't care what anyone says there shouldn't be 10 perimeter shots blocked in any game. I wish there was an option for human blocks but there isn't so i just didn't bother jumping to contest the CPU's perimter shots.

The lack of sliders make this game unplayable on anything below Super Star level IMO because the CPU AI is lethargic to put it a nice way.

Also why doesn't the game move during 5 on 5 like it does in the practice gym?

Practicing is fluid and smooth....during the game it feels terrible IMO. I went away from the default camera and switched to press box for some reason i like the way jumping looks on press box probably because it's further away from the action but it doesn't show the kangeroo jumping by the players.

I know it's a broken record but this game really needs some animations BAD!

Unless your just a control freak and that's your biggest need in a basketball game I don't see how this game doesn't become STALE and BORING after 1 month of play. Maybe if the options were there to enhance CPU gameplay i can see someone playing possibly 1-2 seasons of franchise/dynasty mode.

But personally this is more of a pickup and play game....edit the few sliders available bump it up to Super Star throw on some music and just roll with it.

The lack of animations, sig style of play and gerneric feel really makes it hard to stay focused in single player offline play.

Also, do you guys plan on having a gamespeed slider or what?

If not that just makes matters even worse

I shut it off after the 5th attempt to play because Derrick Fisher shot some kind of fadeway finger roll in the paint....or atleast that's what the animation appeared to make it look like at that time.

rEAnimator - I asked that question early yesterday morn but I don't know if you answered it. My thinking is that slowing down the speed of the game will take away from the 1:1 controls. That being said, I am hoping for a slider and hopefully, it won't alter the 1:1 controls.

@pies: hold right stick in the direction you want to spin.

@fcabanski: I appreciate the clarification and I get what you're saying. I think real ai was a step in the right direction wrt getting guys to score more like their real life counterparts, but there's still much to be done in that department. Thanks for the feedback.

stepsix are you going to look at the horrendous glitch I posted on page 80? It is not good.

Yea, I said the same thing early yesterday morning. I got over the look and animations of the game and switched to low, north/south view with extreme low cam and extreme zoom. Makes a HUGE diff. to me, game play wise, and I'm usually a broadcast cam guy...well, I wasn't always but once b-ball games got the broadcast cam playable, to me, I started rocking with that cam years ago.

stepsix - Can u answer my question to rEAnimator about whether there will be a speed setting in the actual game?
