Hello i think it's great for people who do Franchises just my opinion Go Fins 2010!!!!!

Im on the same boat but u got everything all wrong yes we want a realistic game and when we say realistic when mean blocking, tackling, running motions, passing motions, route running, conerback positioning, over all realistic physics. I have never heard a single person said through the years we want the coaches to call our plays for us so I can feel like im not calling the shots for my team. this game is no where near realistic.I ashame to even hear this from u since u been playing madden since 92. I been on football games since the first madden ever release. It's so much we are being kept from on this so called next gen version of Madden. Sometimes you have to perfect the engine you running ur game on before trying to add all this fancy stuff that no one was asking for.

I pray to god the final version gameplay is way better then this demo. Not one thing made me think I can't wait tell the release day. The locomotion doesn't feel like it made much of a difference on here. Also one again the pre snap adjustment change was so pointless to change on here. Football is not a easy game to play or learn. you have to know how to play the game to be successful in football. It seems like Ian is thinking 180 EA want it to be easy to play and not make the game a chessmatch between two teams. thanks to this Demo it makes me appreciate all the work the NCAA team put into there game this year

Eventually it'll be fine but it'd be nice to have the option to just turn on the old system of modification.
The memorization for me is an issue. When you're working against a clock its almost necessary to memorize.

The different presnap audible used to be the one or two features that were added every year over the course of about 5 years of madden. It was easier to memorize the few additions and button combos one season at a timefor me, I'll probably struggle this time around.

Didn't come away really impress at all. I know I will still pick it up, but it;s crazy how I think that NCAA graphics are better. and NCAA players models seem to look better.

There's no question in my mind that NCAA's player models are much better than Madden's.

I only played both demos, nothing retail. The players looked much better in NCAA. In Madden the players' heads are too big and so is the ball.

I'm at work so I haven't had a chance to play the demo yet, but I wanted to ask a question to those who have.

Can people still abuse the flats or has it been toned down a little?

Is Man coverage just as affective as it was in Madden 10 or it is better or worse?

Why is the deep ball back? Are the WRs getting more separation, or are they going up after the ball more then before?

I'm really curious as to how Man Coverage is now, I remember at first on 10 it was horrible, then they patched it and it became a little better. But on most routes the WR would beat the DB pretty easy vs Man. Or there were certain plays that would beat man coverage every time.

Thanks

I also am thinking that there is a lot of truth when you said "I think the initial negative reaction is due to NCAA going from horrible to really good and Madden going from really good to better". NCAA 10 was terrible and now NCAA11 is great with a massive amount of improvement this year. Last year Madden 10 was really good and people are expecting the same massive leap for Madden 11. The problem is it may have only improved a little which makes some gamers really upset, but it still may end up a good overall game.

As long as it is improved (the gameplay) a little over last year I will be very happy.
i totally agree

Exactly what I've been saying. Some people just bitch to bitch, PERIOD.
Plus you have "people" insulting developers and wondering why they get the boot.

Defensive spotlight is still in, now you have to hold the show playart button (RT on 360) and select who you want to target from there.

does anyone know when it comes out for playstation 3?

Ok have playing some more games.......

1. That guy talking into the headset talks too much for my liking LOL. Yeah I get it he is explaining what every play does, so it is useful for people who don't know football, but for football vets, it gets annoying after a while. No biggie though, just simply turn it off LOL.

2. Running is way easy. Just keep pressing up on the right stick and you will burst out of tackles. I burst out of 8 tackles once doing that. Every time a guy grab me, I pressed up and Adai burst out of there like the incredible hulk. So needless to say the dual stick controls is more responsive on here then it is on NCAA 11.

3. The cpu QB snaps the ball way too fast, you can't adjust crap on defense because he snaps it within 2 seconds of coming up to the line.

4. There is a severe intentional grounding thing the cpu QB does every time you about to get a sack on him. He will throw the ball out no where near a player just to avoid the sack in the pocket. I am just scratching my head like why on earth isn't the flag not being thrown here ????? Sanchez did it 8 times.

5. Game flow, game plan don't impress me. Nice concept for those who want to get down and deep with it like an RTS game. But for me, I can pick my own plays just as fast as game flow LOL.

6. Passing is kind of weird at times. When you miss a pass this year, you REALLY miss a pass. Like the ball goes sailing off target by a good 10 yards or more. So that makes those sideline passes kind of tricky.

Why does it get so quiet after every play? There's no crowd noise or commentary.

Evening time, just like any other demo for the PS3.

I just cannot get over how many broken tackles are in this game it is ridiculous. Addai just stiff armed KRIS JENKINS after Jenkins had a beat on the play and met him in the backfield and it was a crucial stiff arm kinda like how McGahee did to the raiders last year this kinda stuff really pisses me off

On default settings, from what I seen, I don't see separation at all. If anything the CB runs in front of you in your route lane like they are the WR. And they can jump pretty high too.

How is the strategy pad innovative? That's just an example, but there are others. I would rather have had them make the gameplay much smoother, much like NCAA did this year. The players still feel very robotic and the animations are not very improved. When i played the NCAA demo I must admit, I was pretty blown away. The camera view was excellent as well and it seemed like you were closer to the action. Player models were awesome too. The madden visuals seemed to be lacking and lifeless. Very disappointing
Who said the strategy pad was innovative? From those I trust it seems once you get used to it you will be actually faster doing the moves. What it boils down to is people don't want thier little Madden world messed with but scream to high heaven they want changes.

So basically EA needs to only make changes that don't change anything....
That's called fluff and when they did just that they were also vilified for that.

Gameplanning and gameflow IMO are examples of moving the game forward yet we had posters who had ZERO clue what gameplanning/gameflow were all about ....so they start the "gimmick!" talk....

EA can't win for losing.

I mean the first 2 words in the tagline for this season are "Simpler. Quicker." .. They weren't lying.

I thought Madden 10 was a step in the right direction but it seems like they just rushed this one out to begin work on Madden 12. The MLB The Show series has spoiled me on what I think next generation presentation should look like. The look, the feel of that game, the fact that someone could walk in and stare at the TV for 5 minutes without realizing it's a video game... That's what I expect. Graphic wise, this game doesn't look any different than Madden 09 and from the demo, it doesn't play anywhere near as solid as NCAA 11.

agree 100% and people are getting mad cuz we are comparing this game to NCAA if im not mistaking NCAA is the only other legit football we can compare madden to and both teams work under the same name. yes Madden is better then last year but NCAA has surpass Madden 10 and 11

I hate to keep asking but I am stuck at work and have no access to the game until late tonight. Can someone please check to see if 2 player coop is possible in the demo? I would really appraciate it. I play coop 99.9% of the time and hope i can experience the demo the same way I plan to play the retail game. Thanks in advance.
