it doesn't revert it it just takes the icon out the left corner of the screen. This might be one of the dumbest things they could have done to madden. Why fix something that wasn't broken. They made this move so that noobes can have everything in one spot and straight disrespect. Pre snap adjustments is the number factor into stopping routes and adjusting on the fly. It shouldn't take me 10- 15 seconds to bump and run my DBS, spread my D line out, and shift my LB's. It took 5 sec max to do that in old maddens.

I don't see anything here that's getting me hype to buy the game base on the demo this is Madden 10.5 at best

NCAA is killing Madden this year from what im seeing so far

Best Madden game I have ever played. << It's as simple as that

I've gotten so used to NCAA's dynamic zooming camera that Madden's camera seems like I am sooooo far away from the action. I don't like it. But that's a first impression.

I'm loving the game and as we all know its just a demo, Not the final build. So like it or dont play it EA is still getting my money. I'm liking it all around and its is going to be a fun game to play till Madden 12 drops. Way to go Gus, Your a breath of fresh air and bring a new feel to this game.

Actually, some people do have the actual game, already

I hope they eventually put strategies onto the 'strategy' pad ala FIFA offsides trap etc. Right now its just the same old alignment adjustments.

I forgot to change the level to All-Pro so I played my first game on Pro. I guess the only things I was having problems with were my running game with Addai, and throwing over the middle was way too easy. Dallas Clark had like 237 yds receiving and 2 TDs. Maybe it's just because it was on Pro, idk.

2. The presentation cutscenes are SO hitchy, and very videogame looking. The players don't look natural at all constantly vibrating among other things.
Mainly because it is a demo and they had to greatly downsize the game so it could be faster to download. Trust me the final version of the game will be alot better then the demo is. The ncaa 11 demo was not as good the final version was. That's the same way with madden11. So no worries here.

Gameflow IS the big feature this year as well and from the looks of it, it's not really needed at all. If the Jordan feature is useless in NBA2K or Real Time Presentation was 'not worth it' in The Show, we'd hear the same thing.
Informing people that something that is being called a gamekiller is possibly an OPTION and can be turned off is counter productive??
Maybe to those with an infatuation of complaining and crying the sky is falling... Otherwise I fail to see how it's counter productive.

Even if it can't be and is there regardless dosn't warrant a gamekiller scream... It's just something new you have to get used to.
Stop telling EA that Madden is stale if, when they make a change, you're going to act like someone stole your Chucky Cheese coins and scream WHY!!!!...

To each their own. It is a nice to come out here every once and awhile to get a reminder why I don't come out here often.
Sorry to take the thread off track... I'll be leaving now

Ok got the mic working finally........

Game flow is alright......but I still use open playbook and pick my own damn plays. Don't like the way they changed how you do hot routes and pre-snap stuff. Hell I thought this year theme was suppose to be simple ? Instead they add extra stuff you have to do just to do pre-snap and hot routes.

That zoom out thing on passing and running really needs to be PATCHED. Why the hell do they zoom out so far like that ? I missed an easy TD pass because of that. Being the camera zooms out so far, I thought the guy was way deeper down the field then he really was and over throw him by a good 15 yards out the back of the end zone.

Passing over the middle is more hard this year, mainly because of the zoom out thing and how damn high LB's can jump in this game. In the demo version at least, the atmosphere in this game is LACKING.

Some of the player models are very thin as though they haven't eaten in months.

A few random questions:

1. How many & types of camera options will this game have? Will it have a fully user customizable camera ala 2k8?

2. What's the best way to get a user sack? Dive at the QB by hitting X or hit down on the right stick?

3. How do you showboat before scoring?

Gracias

For some reason I am finding it easier to identify the holes when running in this demo than in other versions of Madden I have played. I kind of like the new flow options and the demo AI called a decent game for me. I can see this making the game more accessible for different levels of players and may open up the online portion a bit. Overall I am pretty happy with the demo.

Hasn't Madden had the problem with the CPU snapping the ball way to quickly for the past 2 or 3 years and then everyone complains about it and they end up patching it. How does this keep happening. Way more noticeable when you choose a gameflow play since you have to check the play art just to see what is going on at first and then decide what to do instead of picking a play and then start with adjustments right after. If your the Dlineman after the play call screen your done if you like to play DB since they basically snap the ball right as you select you guy most of the time.

yeah its obvious madden didnt take a big leap like ncaa did. I feel ncaas locomotion is more fluid and realistic compared to maddens. Dislike the strategy pad in madden, probably because I was so used to the old audible system..I thought the commentary was pretty boring they need to get rid of chris collinsworth. It seemed like there was long pauses and just awkward yelling from gus johnson, he would get too excited for like every play.

Only thing I really liked was the passing game and showing real life players on the sidelines, otherwise it seemed ncaa was just flat out better...

I am thinking that this is a problem with their voice over director. Both guys sound uninspired and Gus' Swagger man pitch is funny for all the wrong reasons.

I enjoyed the demo. Went from a game I was def going to pass on to a rent and see how I like it. That can still change with final build impressions though.

As for cut-scenes I would like them to take the realtime approach of games like MLB The Show, the players just go back and forth about their business and it plays out exactly as an MLB game should.

great..another band aid...i guess just out right fixing it (the nano) is out of the question.

I don't know what everyone is complaining about. I feel a major difference between last years game and this years game. I'm also tired of everyone complaining about the strategy pad. It's really not that hard to get used to. Maybe if you're going back and forth between playing NCAA and Madden then it can be frustrating but come on. This is the most realistic Madden game I've ever played and I can say that by just playing one game of the demo.

Ugh, I hate the Jets and all their dang blitzing. I like the fact they play like they do in real life though.
