Not enough love for the AFC North champions, but that's ok. Last year ranked #4 defense that will only be better is now going to have an offense resembling the 2005 Bengals..look out NFL!

I love these threads. Everyone's favorite team is underrated.

How right you are. They are always good for a nice laugh though.

Exhibit A from my previous post.

the fact that Delhomme is no longer with Carolina should automatically make them around 79-81. You have to admit, it was a totally different team with Moore.

Panthers at 75. Jake is gone, if anything that should have gave us points and our D is still good even though we lost JP. We should be a solid 80 IMO.

# 129 Bellsprout @ 06/06/10 11:03 AM
Wait. Stop bashing Jake Delhomme. Jake clearly should be 85-87 overall. He's one of the top Quarterbacks in the NFL.

And no, I'm not a homer. I can prove it with a video of all the Panthers stuff I have in my basement if you'd like.

I agree. With Favre the Vikings are among the top 3 teams in the league. Actualy, I think they are better than the Colts, and maybe the best in football- assuming Favre plays well.

tillman at this point in his career would be lucky to be a good teams third corner and he's the bears best corner lol... he's very good and i love him but he doesn't have the speed to stick with anyone anymore.

bears offense will have to carry them to a .500 season and IMO they are rated properly for that in madden.
I get some of what you're saying but even as a guy who feels uncomfortable watching the Bears try and become a offensive team...I still think it's too early to give up on Cutler. He had some really nice throws in between all those INTs. He's got the physical gifts...just has to get the head straight.

I miss that guy. And for all you who don't know what he's talking about.

Donny Moore is on my bad side.

That's like saying Trent Dilfer took the Ravens to the Superbowl when it was clearly the defense and the running game.

It's clearly not the same. I thought you would get my point though.

Delhomme also had 22 turnovers and 19 touchdowns. Dilfer only started 8 games that year but only threw 7 less touchdowns. They weren't exactly the same but both were average at best quarterbacks who were backed by a great defense, which in Delhomme's case, bailed him out many times after his turnovers.

Well it wasn't just a horrible playoff game. It was a horrible season overall.

I for one think Jay Cutler CAN be good if he gets his head on strait. He's such a loose cannon right now I wouldn't want him on my team.
