For the most part I like the ratings. I was expecting to see Green Bay go a few points up, but being rated the 6th highest team in the game is about right for them, so no harm no foul.

I would love to be the Gm for the bills in a 30 year franchise, the challenge of turning them from sh!t to sugar is what any real chiser plays for.

Just glad to see the Bucs aren't the worst team in the game.

Nobody messing with us!!!! Ravens baby!......(waits for the bandwagon users)

# 5 Brandwin @ 06/04/10 08:23 PM
Niners are about what I expected.

Never really paid attention to the team ratings to be honest. Is it just me, or does the list look bottom heavy?

Just looking at the #'s... Cards -8 and Eagles -6 took the biggest hit. Skins at +6 the obvious winners.

I just find it ridiculous that whenever EA has a cover boy, they feel obliged to overate the team he plays for. The Saints are good, as are the Colts but are they really 2-3 points higher than ANY other team?

Eh, not that big of a deal. They are a point higher than the Colts, then the Ravens and Jets follow.

how in the world are the Broncos rated so highly. they are not much better than the chiefs and after this off season are, at best, equal to the Raiders.

# 13 TracerBullet @ 06/04/10 08:30 PM
Detroit will be in the 70s shortly after the season begins.

lol, I was just wondering the same thing. They could finish 3rd or even 4th in the division easily. They lost their best WR and their best TE this offseason and it's not like they were loaded to begin with. I'm looking at their roster right now and I just can not see a 78. Other than that though, every thing else looks fine.

What do team ratings mean? How is it calculated?

exactly, I've wondered this too, is it starters? or an average of the positions? there is no clear explanation to the madness

AFC West completely f'd up ratings...

# 18 coogrfan @ 06/04/10 08:46 PM
Two thoughts:
  1. Is it safe to assume that the Vikes rating is with Favre?
  2. How 'bout them Cowboys?!!

# 19 Equinox831 @ 06/04/10 08:53 PM
These aren't to bad, no complaints over here as everything seems about right..

# 20 PantherBeast_OS @ 06/04/10 09:04 PM
I figured the panthers would be in the mid 70s. 75 is not so bad and not so good. But 75 is not what I was wanting for them. But oh well that's the way the ball bounces.
