You must be referring to the 1st part of the thread where 95% of the complaints were about the stats issues.

Others are varied about the game play, some say it's been enhanced and some say it hasn't.

Best judge is yourself.

Thats odd. I can still play both games. WOW its a revelation. Plus stat freaks were up in arms early in this thread. Playing the game is almost a new experience with the defensive tweaks.

To each his own.

Just a quick heads-up as I know people were asking earlier, but I have yet to see the cpu punt when inside my end of the field when its not necessary. The Chiefs attempted 2 field goals of 50+ yards last night and one from 47 I believe it was.

The only time they punted was when they were at my 41 yard line which I can understand. Still wish they would use the coffin corner punt though instead of kicking it right down the middle of the field.

It's not in my head.

My CPU controlled LE got 3 sacks - no lame duck throws.

CPU controlled Tommie Harris had 4 sacks in a game - no lame duck throws. (these were different games - I didn't have 7 sacks by 2 people in the same game, heh)

I can show you box score stats to prove it.

Pre-patch 2, I would see a lot of would be sacks disappear because of duck throws. It would also deflate their completion percentage. Now any comp. percentage deflation is from bad throws or defended passes.

Heck, when I try to throw when I get hit, I don't get lame duck throws nearly as much. It looks more like a "tuck" and the QB tacks the sack. Before, I would be cringing watching the ball go up in the air and probably caught by the DL right there.


I don't pretend to know why you're not seeing it, but I'm seeing a big difference in both the AI play (it doesn't attack the flats all day and when it does if I call a flat zone, it's not wide open), and the overall defensive nature of the game.

I don't know if other's have seen this, but one reason for the improved defense is that I have seen CPU DL and LB go thru the line's now untouched, unabated to the QB. This has hurried me up vastly and caused me havoc. I like it. But I see it much more on long passing down. I have CPU pass rush jacked all the way up as well...as I have not changed it since pre-patch #2. I think this is a major reason for the up'ed Defensive play of the CPU. Anyone else notice this?

I dont think this has been mentioned, as I've read through the entire thread, but does the CPU still hike the ball right when getting to the line?

Does for me, but then again, I use 25 sec run off so that's probably impacting it.

Then again, I have seen the AI take delay of game penalties and I'm not sure why (i.e. no glitched out linemen twirling in place, etc).

So perhaps it's more random than in patch 1. I'll have to watch this now.

Do the CPU defenders ever jump offsides? I have offsides cranked up to 100 and use the fake snap pretty regularly and haven't seen it.

Also, I agree that the CPU needs to mix up their snap count more. It's pretty easy to time it because they rarely use a hard count.

how do you have enough time to call audibles, hot routes, and send people in motion when you use 25 second run off?

A question i have is since i don't have the patch yet. 360 owner has the low amount of cornerback tackles fixed?? I hate seeing Charles Woodson with 20 tackles for a season. The average for a starting cb is 50.

I can't say 100% sure yes as I have not completed a full season. But after 3 weeks of my franchise, Antoine Winfield(CB-Vikings) is leading all CB's in tackles with 15 thus far.

I will say this, pre patch none of the read option plays out of the few wildcat variations,as well as Tennessee's playbook worked at all, now, the play is deadly if run with the right people. Offline anyway.

Now if only the worked right in NCAA...

that is 5 tacks a game that is better than expected this is great news thanks..

Are the quick snaps on the field goals fixed at all in this patch? Haven't had a chance to fire up the game
