This is what I'm wondering, if there will be a third patch. NCAA got a third patch to fix progression (I think that was the only fix) so hopefully we can get a third one as well to fix stats and a couple little things.

I thought they were? They don't play on TD's still?

there are no auto replays when using hardcore play calling

getting a ton of mixed impressions, but i have noticed one constant and that has been the sideline catches still being a problem?? i just don't understand how this issue can still exist 2 patches and 5 madden games later(next gen).....how is this possible?? and why is it allowed??

What happens if we use advanced play calling? Does it effect gameplay? The little info on the bottom of the screen says, "Hardcore is a specially tuned mode that is reserved for gamers that know everything about football and need no help."

You get replays when using Advanced. The only question is whether or not they are more frequent after the patch.

If you are talking about the replay stopping right when the ball is about to cross into the end zone instead of continuing through post TD run/catch and on into the celebration, that still happens.

They are definitely more frequent. I played a game before changing to hardcore mode (didn't know auto replays vanished with hardcore) and saw many more replays than pre-patch. It was nice.

How were they after TD's? Was there a replay after every TD or at least after most of them?

I don't know about all, but there were on most. There were a ton of replays, mostly on plays that gained a first down.

I switched my playcalling mode back to Advanced so I'll take note of the replays after TDs.

Good to see that there is more replays. Hopefully they play replays on most TD's. Let us know how it is on advanced.

haven't noticed any new animations in the 3 games I've played post patch, nor have I seen a increase in PI calls. In fact, penalties are pretty much the same as they were before the patch(es).

In terms of going deep, this is something that I really didn't have an issue with prior to this patch. The cpu does go deep, but again, I can't say how more often they do so now prior to the patch because I didn't "have the issue" prior to the patch.

Sorry I can't provide a better answer than that.

There will be times where the receiver catches the ball near the edge, say right near the yardline number, and momentum takes him to the sideline, but they rule the catch incomplete with the cutscene and all. Doesn't happen often, but its annoying when it does.

i dont know if this is knew but when a kicker hits the field goal to put his team up late in a game, the whole team is jumping all over him and lifting him rather than before where he just walked back to the bench

i've seen the sideline catch stuff come up after a guy has dropped the ball. LMAO.

am i the only one who's getting no rotation on the ball during replays? when my qb throws the ball, it doesn't spin. am i smoking something?

# 357 swivel63 @ 12/06/09 10:39 PM

Exposure is all relative.

Clearly in Washington you see and hear more about the Seahawks, but for me it is the exact opposite.

I'd give it a B. For the amount of time it took I was expecting more (look at the fix list for NBA 2K10... the patch was essentially a new version of the game). But the Madden patch did fix some of my primary beefs with the game (pursuit angles, flats coverage, other gameplay tweaks) which makes for some great games against the CPU. The thing I'm most disappointed in is the sim stats, which produce some inflated stats for the RBs and too many sacks.

Great my ps3 gets the YLOD and Madden comes out with a patch. I had no luck but bad luck
