Just wanted to add some WR, CB, and Team stat ranges I hadn’t seen discussed yet for those interested in stats. Orange is obviously a Madden gen’d year.

I'm seeing a lot of posts on stats which is great, but I really would like to hear more about gameplay.
It's funny but I think Tecmo Superbowl got stats right years ago.
So if the CPU is covering the flats better, is it causing any problems with the rest of coverage (beyond what is reasonable in real life)?
Are you guys seeing too many sacks now (by the human on the CPU QB)? Do they still have that insane ability to let go of the ball right when you hit them unless you dive like a madman?
Any off target throws by the CPU QB or throwing out of bounds?
What about completion percentage in played games by the CPU QB? Are they still robo QB?

What has stopped me from playing Madden for months is the terrible end of game AI and the computer running out of bounds after a pass when there is plenty of open field.
Have these issues been fixed or improved? Please advise and thank you.

So someone else also said they noticed the "hitch" gone when running... can someone confirm this? When you have a tired/fatigued player, does he slow down but without the hitch when running?
I also have a few gameplay questions a few posts back... basically asking to confirm what was implicated being in this patch.

Ok admittedly not very important but I know there's Jim Johnson tribute logos for the Eagles but did they remove him from the game? Seems logical but I've never seen a coach get removed before.

If you change the rb1 and rb2 sliders does it lower the crazy stats at the end of the year?
Most teams use two RBs, some like the Jags, Vikings, Lions and 49ers use a single featured back. Can someone sim a 32 team franchise so I can get an idea of what sliders and settings need to be changed?

just simmed one season before going to work here is what i got
three 2000yrd rushers
M.Turner 2558
A.Peterson 2122
D.Williams 2092
Jared Allen had 30 sacks
everything else looks good though I like that the most pancakes one guy had was 20

I would like to see somebody try this also.
1. Fixed flat coverage for cover 2 but rest of zone defenses still take to long to get to right area.
With fixing the flat coverage the Cover 2 shell is totally busted and safeties are in no mans land leaving giant gaps in the secondary.
2. the RB yardage stats are so unrealistic which is undeniable.
3. Still no fix on warping, bad CPU play calling and Defensive/Offensive line play
Took EA this long to come out with this patch tsk tsk tsk

Just finished my first play now game post patch. Texans (me) vs Cowboys. All-pro default, 15 min quarters, 25 second run off.
Game was great. Dallas scored first on a TD to Roy Williams in the back of the endzone. Romo got hurt on the pass and was out the whole rest of the first half. I answered with a TD to Johnson to tie it up at 7. 2 plays later Barber fumbles, Cushing recovers and I run it back 17 yards for 6. It was awesome cause Barber got stood up on a toss left and my corner came in and caused the fumble. Kitna did nothing and I was able to take a 17-7 lead into the half. Dallas came back to cut the lead to 3 with 6 minutes to go, but I was able to answer back and ended up winning the game 27-14.
Overall it was the best game I've ever played on default settings. Dallas stuck to the run all game cause Romo was out. I really felt the game would have been MUCH tighter if Romo had not gotten hurt. I controlled the ball all game (42min TOP) and had 10 pts off Dallas turnovers.
I'm not going to jump the gun and say this game is fixed quite yet. I felt this game played great. Take away the 2 Dallas turnovers and have Romo play the whole game and this game would have been COMPLETELY different.
As of right now I'm very pleased!!

This far, I haven't really noticed all that much other then polish for the player models, which always get way more attention the game play...
When players play a blitz... BOOM! The screen sets in just fine, so blitzers will still cry foul when the screens still burn their constant blitzing. I haven't really noticed anything else...
I really don't care about the stats... I play the season, I don't sim it... I don't care about little numbers and emblems on the backs of players heads since all you see is a player making a huge glitchy run down the sidelines, in perfect uniforms... Nice.
How about we fix the animation and game play stuff next year and worry about the "little" things once the "important" stuff is done... I appareciate the Seahawks jerseys being in there now, but that should have been a release thing...
