As far as I know, Kobe mo-capped his jumper himself. If you're not happy with his jumper, you should contact Kobe and let him know...Or ask him to shoot this season like he shot when his shot was captured.

Fouls are definitely too low on default, though. Hopefully they can up them via a patch.
Cant you fix the fouls through sliders?

Didn't see it, but I read several comments on youtube by people saying they know he did it. I assume they're right, and anyway, it's common sense that he did his jumper himself. If he didn't, why would 2K change it?

Doesn't exactly instill confidence there, chief.

UMMM... That's not proof. People on youtube?

I dont care either way, it was fun shooting with the old jumper to me so it wasnt a huge gripe on my end...but you're saying it like you know its a fact when its not.

You can definitely shoot on the move in 2k10. you have to (while moving) push the right stick in the direction your moving to and he will perform a leaning jumper. Kobe's leaner is especially sick.

Vast I dont think thats what they meant

I think they mean for example when you're running and want to stop and pop... the sig shots in 2k makes the player stop, shuffle his feet and square up then shoot instead of doing it all in one motion, which gives the defense that split second to recover to contest

And THIS is how the whole 2KSports mystique continues to grow. Urban legend starter kits....

Yes. But of course, if I say that, the typical response is "you can't use sliders in ranked play."

With fouls up, I have been getting called for a reach in on that play sometimes. Others they'll lose the ball, others they will miss the strip. More variation this year than last with the foul sliders up (to add in more reach fouls).

They were talking about leaners

For those wo have downloaded the demo. How different is 2K10 from 2K9? Does it feel the same? Any changes?

Yeah, Pared and I were messing around with that and cranked it up 2 78. Honestly it still seemed like the cpu doesn't commit enough fouls. I'm gonna shoot it up 2 90 just 2 see what kinda results I get...

As far as Kobe doing motion cap; one would think so but I doubt it cause they never made an official statement confirming that and if u had the cover boy up 4 mo-cap, I would think SOMEONE would've mentioned it by now. That said...I don't think there's a thing wrong with his jumper in the game.

I've skimmed through these impressions and I feel like demo isn't doing the game any justice. Seems like a lot's missing however I don't make it a habit 2 talk out my neck so I'm gonna d/l the demo when I get home 2 see where a lot of u are coming from....

I don't agree with how 2K did leaners and all. IMO, if you're pushing the left stick in a direction and you press the shot button, your momentum should force you to shoot a leaner/drifter/fadeaway/whatever. If you want to do a straight up jumper, then let go of the left analog stick when you shoot. I NEVER use shot stick except on breakaways to do a flashy or power dunk. It just doesn't feel right.

I hate to say it at the risk of creating a flame war, but I think Live did it the right way.

So all you guys saying is that Kobe only appears on the cover and that's all? I sure hope 2K didn't pay him too much...
