LOL! Good one Spanky.

As for fatigue, I only played the 1 minute demo, so my players didn't even get to warm up.

Fatigue is actually well done in my opinion. Yesterday I was playing and the Steelers put together a 12 play drive that was all runs and Moore got 2 of the 12 carries due to Parker being taken out for fatigue.

The good news this year is that there is a fatigue slider so if fatigue is over/under done in your opinion, then you can adjust accordingly.

The ball does hang in the air slightly too long. But the good thing about it is that it gets overthrown so that no one gets to it or INT isn't so easy to get, at least from what I experienced. There were some gimme INTs that I didn't get, and a lot of tipped passes I thought would get picked off but didn't.

Yeah this playcall screen doesn't seem any different then previous years in terms of the amount of space it takes up.

i love the demo. Gamestop demo btw. few minor flaws i notice are-

1.too many holding penalties on FG or extra point. ive had like 3 in 4 games.
2. too many over the shoulder catches. Ill throw a ball into the flats and he catches it over the shoulder instead or squaring up to it.
3.CPU will throw a pass toward the sideline to a reciever standing still with nobody around him and he still doesnt get both feet in half the time.

lol word

id rather see the whole field in a smaller screen to the side of the play call screen than see the whole field in one shot and have the play call screen cover half of it right in the middle

Lol I'm gonna keep complaining this time about game play, playing on All-Madden I feel like I get ABSOLUTELY no breaks. In my past two drives two routine huge plays I missed: Warner missed Fitz on a wide open streak I didn't lead him or anything just tapped the button and I overthrew him. Also, my WR's seem to drop too many balls, Boldin just missed a wide open over the middle pass that would have given me a first.

I'm sure I'll be able to adjust the sliders for this but it seems like the AI gets every interception when they are near it and I drop almost all of mine. Don't like that, the CPU shouldn't win just because they get lucky. Make them better at play calling not catching and getting lucky.

They made that Gamestop commercial about that to encourage gamers to preorder. All I kept thinking was that the graphics were horrible, it didn't look like that in the demo though.

fatigue is done well. they also have like where the fatigue colors will be a shade of green/yellow. like right in between. and once u get 6 or 7 plays into a drive, the circles on the playcall screen starting turing yellow and eventually red after 12 plays or so

^As for fatigue, I would control Bertrand Berry and on almost every 3rd down, he would be yellow or red.

Think about this everyone...
See how big of a leap NCAA 10 was from the demo to the retail version? And that demo was pretty bad.

This demo is pretty dang good, and imagine if the same leap happens to Madden in regards to the retail version.

I just saw something kind of weird.

The Cardinals(CPU) were on my 41 with 2 seconds to go in the 2nd quarter.
They decide to kick so i choose field goal return or whatever. So they hike the ball and then Neil Rackers kicks but the ball is blocked! Or is it?

I go to replay to find that the long snapper breaks of his block to block one of the defenders coming from the side to block the kick and the ball is kicked right into his hands. Then i tackle him.

I was curious about this one as I've seen the same thing, but was wondering if it could be a velocity of pass deal? In other words, could it be triggered due to the QB "lofting" the ball out to the flat?

Has anyone tried putting some mustard behind it and seeing if the back still catches in stride but doesn't do the over the shoulder animation? I'm not at the game to check.

I have seen the back catch a bullet over the shoulder on a flare, yes.

The computer is doing a nice pump fake draw, anyone figure out how to do this, or is it a specific play call? Hopefully its not something only the computer can do.

The game is great, most of you pointing out the positive have covered what I would say. I have a few negatives though.
Is anyone else diving 5 yards in the air if youre tackling someone from behind? That animation is poor.

Looks like they took page numbers off the playcall screen, gonna miss that.

I also have a problem with man defense, posted this late last night, but cant find where i posted it now. Heres a repost.

I posted a little while back and the same thing happened to me, extremely strange. I was glad it was blocked because it DOES happen but catching the ball? NO WAY!

Welcome to Madden where mind reading DBs and synchronized route running has long been the standard lol.

This fix has been a long time coming. Don't know if Tiburon is skilled enough to fix it though.

Played one game before bed last night and it took a bit to adjust to the game after NCAA.

I was quickly down 17-0 to the Cardinals and could NOT get a pass rush going on All Pro at first. Warner was picking me apart and my first pass was a pick as I adjusted to the slower ball physics.

I ended up winning 27-24 in OT

Running game is very good, as is fatigue. I tried getting into the endzone as the game was winding down in regulation to win but my hurry up offense had the 2nd string WRs on the field by the end of the drive and I had to settle for a FG as time expired.

Pro-Tak didn't show up as much as I would have liked, but I really didn't stick to the ground game due to the 5 min quarters and being behind 17-0 quickly.

I did like the one out route I threw, with Sweed matched up against a shorter DB...the DB had the inside so I threw it high and Sweed climbed the ladder to grab it over the DB's head after they both stopped at the sideline. It was a 5 yard gain and I threw it way to late, but it was cool none the less.

Presentation is top notch and needs to be brought over to NCAA.
