I started a thread about the ridiculousness that is the over the shoulder catch. I usually just live with animations that are off and chalk it up to it's a game. But, somebody had to see this nonsense. If someone at EA looked at that and said " yeah that's a sweet animation" we've got the wrong people working on these games. It's so visually disturbing to me that it nukes all of the good stuff I've seen. When have you ever seen Larry Fitzgerald turn his back to the ball while it's in flight and start twisting and contorting with his hands in the air? I've paused replays and the receivers will start this stupid animation when the ball is 10-15 yards away. UGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dude I am falling out of my chair right now. LOL! You put that in a way that is truly 1 of a kind. I may use that as a signature.

I think the over the shoulder catch is done better in NCAA10. So perhaps this will be fixed, considering it's a demo.

I am closing this thread down, and have opened the Madden NFL 10 Impressions thread version 2.0.

Hopefully thins will reduce clutter and encourage more posting in the impressions thread.

This thread will remain locked but will still be stickied so you can get info from it.
