I stand corrected on the image quality. I had my 360 reference level set incorrectly. The game looks fine now. Srry Canes21

- If I don't buy Madden, 3.4999999999999999999 million other people still will. There is no way to boycott this game for as long as they have the licencse.

-I'm the only one displeased with the 34 D? NT still only takes up 1 blocker.

- All Pro is to easy, but All Madden is to unrealsitic. They need a level between there. I know about sliders, but that doesnt help me when I play online or at a tournament one bit.

-Ben is way to accurate.

- The game is real slow until the ball goes up in the air it seems like to me. The players move slow, but the ball is close to the speed it was traveling in 09, and LB's zip through the air when they jump to the side to defend a pass.
Jesus quit hating on the Steelers for real and recognize the game !!!

wow....

I post 3 things about the game itself, 1 as a responce to someone else's post about the game, and something about Ben and you jump on me? No way Ben is as accurate as he is on this game, he went 12/14 in one game I had and 16/16 in another. Ben is a strong armed, mobile, QB. No doubt he's good, have to be to win 2 rings, but a good accurate passer? No.

My new impressions: still a great game. It does have some flaws - I can't get to Ben at all on All-Pro when he's controlled by the CPU. In two days of playing I have not recorded a single sack. The blitz rarely pressures him.

Another good thing I did notice was the different style of play. Arizona relied much more on their passing game while Pittsburgh mixed it up.

Can't wait until August 14th.

This is my major problem.

To the two posts above...

Well it may boil down to skill level settings and your own skills at the game..i have had much success in sacking the QB..not too much but enough to make it real..lets see each team in the NFL gets around on average 2 sacks per game..thats about what im seeing on both cpu and human, cpu maybe getting slightly more sacks on me then i get..but its still good.

To everyone else....

I just wanted to chime in again on my thoughts of the game. Im TRUELY having a blast with this demo..well both demos. I can definately see some differences between the gamestop demo and the 1minute demo..different builds? different speed? Its different regardless..i cant pinpoint it..it seems the Giants/Boys demo is slightly more refined. I know for a fact that the final game will be even better and maybe alot better with the day1 patch thats suppose to drop on day 1... good thing we have the technology for patches now days so even there are some dodgy logic going on here and there..it can be fixed and if some cant be fixed..no big deal..im pretty content with what i've played thus far..is it perfect? hell no..far from it but its a good, fun playing game of football...to each is own but im intelligent enough to know its stupid to expect perfection in any area of a videogame...

Im seeing good CPU coverage with M10 finally..thank god!! I had a bit of problem covering guys myself..but after i went to custom sliders and adjusted the pass defense slider..its alot better now...

Again, im NOT expecting perfection here (and neither should you!)...IT IS A VIDEOGAME!! The main factor which should be true for all of you guys even though its not..is that we have seen a HUGE improvement over Madden09....and you cant expect a perfect playing game here as it is a videogame.

Like one guy said in here... you will see people crying like fairies simply because a play dont play out exactly like they wanted it to or how a real nfl game would have... its just ******** to expect perfection with a videogame...there were ALOT of problems with All Pro Football and 2k5 but yet the game was still "fun" to play...to me, this is the exact same feeling Madden10 demo is giving me...

Bottome Line: Madden10 is now a fun game of football unlike the dead feeling maddens of past..this is the first madden EVER that finally has some soul and excitment that represents the NFL Football League

This game is beautiful but needs serious work. How is it that the players all move like they have a stick up their you know what??? It animates beautifully in motion (except for Tron running)....seems like 2K5 will still be king though! I was/am betting my money on Madden...but that final build will have to have some significant changes to Commentary....and they need to NAIL the presentation! August 14th We. Will. See.

can someone tell me what tron jogging is? i've played the demo a few times, and i honestly don't see a problem with the running animations this year.

I noticed the difference between the 2 demos also. It just feels a little better, or 'refined', as you say. The game is definitely fun though. I play em both a lot lol.

It's simply the sheer VOLUME of posts, in addition to the volume of your posts, your "impressions" read no differently than if they were written by the Public Relations Department from EA Sports.

It's great to be enthusiastic, but just like last year it seems like every page of hundred plus page threads has at least one or two posts by you on every single page. Each one HYPING the game. I think it's only fair that new people here know this is exactly what you did for Madden 09. Nothing but gushing, effusive posts about how amazing the game was, like I said, your posts could be written by the EA P.R. department.

We see hundreds of posts of people complaining about "haters" if they say anything negative about Madden whether they're constructive or not. You are the "reverse-*****" lol.

I don't have a problem with anyone's opinion, and every critique of Madden is met with at least a few posts critical of the poster and not the content of the criticism.

It's one thing for someone to say they loved the demo/release, etc. It's another thing for someone like you who posts hundreds upon hundreds of posts each year HYPING the game each year.

Just like last year, your posts read more like spam/advertising for the game than serious impressions or feedback. I know I'm not alone in this opinion. It's nothing personal, but, geez, if someone posted slightly negative impressions of the game over and over on every single page of hundred plus page threads, they would be banned for sure.

I would think your enthusiasm would be tempered just a bit this year after hyping Madden 09 like you were getting paid by the post last year. Only later to tire of the game and praise Madden 09 PS2 as the new be all and end all. Sorry if I'm raining on your parade, but just like last year I can't read a new page on these thread without one or two posts by you. It's supposed to be an IMPRESSIONS thread, not a chance for you to prove your undying love and loyalty for the Madden series on every page.

Sorry, someone had to say it.

Dude..if your gonna call out countryboy like you have.. why on earth are you not calling out the 2-3 same guys that keep posting the negative madden10 video's in just about every page repeatedly? LOL i mean are you just targeting countryboy because he's dig'n the game alot and wants to express this..but yet your blind to the 2-3 guys purposely plasturing this thread with madden bashing videos in every page? lolz

To me..it sounds like the praising and excitement that the MAJORITY of us are having with the M10 demo is getting under that skin... ruffling up them feathers of yours..

PS and who cares if CB initially liked madden last year and was pumped about it..i somewhat did that myself but after a while i get tired of it as it wore out too quickly and it was well known by my b1tch'n..the non fun factor can only carry a game so long and so far for one whole year...M10 is a whole new breed compared to last year...if you cant see this your being stuborn...

*Puts on ignore list*

I agree with this, they need sliders that work, especially for sim online leagues, because neither of these settings are realistic.

so is the general consensus from those who've played both that the gamestop demo is a really old build, and the cowboys/giants is more recent?

because the game im playing doesnt look like the videos im seeing. the videos make it look great.

AllMadden/gamestop demo/PS3.

I notice it on outs vs Man coverage. Outs are Man killers @ every level of football, so IMO its a problem. I dont rerun plays either. The defenders are cutting a split second before the reciever cuts. Doesnt seem to happen on other routes like slants, posts, or angles, for example.

I think I know what a demo is, and I have impessions to post. Fake screen draw out of PITT playbook is a nice, new play. Maybe you should stay on topic, instead of making pointless comments.

One thing really boiling my blood is there is no element of surprise vs. the CPU. Blitz and they pick it up every time or the QB quick passes.Call a run and they're shifting to the run side.Audible and they back off.How does the CPU know everything you do?Even NFL teams aren't that good.I wonder will EA ever fix this.

I just have to say as a guy who has loved 2k5,I'm surprised that there's not more of a positive responce to this game. I mean there are real pockets. Different quaterbacks really seem to play to thier skill set. I love the fact I can lob over linebackers and not have them jump and pick it off.
Pro-tack was not just a marketing thing, it really makes the game feel more like football, it's not perfect but really solid for it's first time out. I mean, You can't tell me trying to push the pile with Beanie Wells is'nt an awesome thing, when You gotta get that last inch.
I mean even the fullbacks in the game I played, blocked and cleared the lane. Again there are some lineman who arent always blocking like they should but it doesnt happen every play.
When was the last time You could say it was fun to play as a dt? Well it's fun to use the stick , knock the center back and block a passing lane and knock a pass down.
I mean it's far from perfect but if You can't find more positves than negatives it's more than likely Madden is never going to please You.
In closing, this is from a guy who hasnt been happy with Madden since 05 and now I am stoked about where Phil, Ian and the rest of this crew are doing with Madden.

Did you use the juke stick? Also, did you hit B for spin to get out of that tackle? Good run.

That's so true. This game feels dynamic and not scripted. The outcome is not certain. I can't wait until the retail version. I love the speed, animation, graphics, etc...

They also said that there was still some tuning left and this demo doesn't have graphics animations in it. Wow.

Can someone explain to me why everyone has been complaining about the pass rush, in a demo, where the developer has stated that this was an earlier build and some pass rush tweaks were left out amongst other things?

Really confusing me here. Is it just because he told us ahead of time that the pass rush was yet to be tweaked in this early build that everyone decides to whine about it?
