They're still building for this gen, so I think it will take a couple more years before they're around a 10.

I will play 2k every year but here are some ideas on how to make it way more awesome.

-2KTV: This was a great idea that just needs more development. I like to watch the videos and tips. They just need to have more stars (especially the cover athletes) and developers to give their tips and stories playing NBA2K. It would be cool if they held a 2K tournament and broadcast it on 2KTV as well.

-Game Modes and DLC: Why is there not a %u201CImpact Moments%u201D or %u201CHardwood Classics%u201D mode where we get to play big games or major moments in the NBA (such as buzzer beater games or Kobe%u2019s 81pt game for example). This would be awesome and add another level of freshness when big moments happen during the NBA season. I would also like to see an Olympics Mode since there are Euro-League teams now. How cool would it be to play in the Olympics in MyCareer or even by itself (perhaps a Dream Team Olympic Mode)? I would even like to see the Africa game thrown in there as well. All of this, in my opinion, should be DLC though. The game should start out standard game modes and you could purchase Historic Teams, D-League, Olympics Mode, and the Africa Game as DLC if you wanted. Most people only play these gimmicks a few times if at all and why not make money off of the ones that like to play it? Games are all about micro-transactions now and this is a good way to pay for the extra cost of licensing those old *** players. The All-Star Weekend needs to be a stand alone game mode as well again (and add the skills challenge already!).

-Real-Time Updates: There should be weekly player attribute updates with the season and news updates that we can read. If I haven%u2019t played in 3 days and Rajon Rondo gets traded to the Bucks, it would be nice to know what happened. I know I can go online and find out stuff like this, but dream big eh?

-Presentation: This is one aspect of the game that they always over-hype. The arena sounds are the worst. The crowds need to be city specific and chant accordingly (Brooklyn chant, OKC fans standing until 1st home bucket, RipCity loudness, etc.). The pre-game intros are cool but when they say the players names they aren%u2019t even hyped up. Oh, Kevin Durant is here. Now let%u2019s start the game. Yeah right. Pump it up already. Get me excited to play. Further, TNT and NBATV really need to take over. Make it feel like an actual Thursday night broadcast of the NBA. Instead of three commentators, have two seperate 2-man commentator crews and switch between the two. There is plenty of talent to choose from with Reggie Miller, Chris Webber, & Brent Barry just to name a few. Sign Kenny Smith and Charles Barkley already and have the NBA on TNT crew do pre-game, half-time show, and post-game analysis. A %u201CGone Fishing%u201D skit in the playoffs would be awesome as well. There is a real lack of anything between quarters. Make it look and feel like a real broadcast by having Rachel Nichols interview players at half-time and post-game while Doris Burke interviews the coaches after the 1st and 3rd quarters. I know this is a lot of people to pay to do this but that leads me to my next point.

-Sponsorships: The best way to pay for all the talent needed to make a game like this is sponsorships. Currently, 2K only has a handful of a large number of constant NBA supporters. Why not add commercials in between quarters of a game that have the NBA players in them. You show 2 commercials and a promo for a game coming up and back to the game. It would be like a real broadcast and we get to see a constant stream of products featuring our favorite players. Imagine playing a game online as the Rockets and after the first quarter, Doris Burke interviews Kevin McKale, then jumps into a James Harden Foot Locker commercial followed by a promo for the Rockets/Thunder game coming up on Saturday, finally back to the game. It wouldn%u2019t take that much effort to do and make a ton of money from those companies. HP, Gatorade, Sprite, Nike, Adidas, St Farm, Toyota, Foot Locker, Taco Bell, UnderArmor, KIA, BBVA, Pepsi, Spaulding, and Kumho Tires are just a few sponsors but you could imagine how much this would impact the development when they all pay to advertise in-game. And what player wouldn%u2019t want to do a commercial when they put it on TV and your PS4/Xbox?

-MyCareer: I have no doubt that Spike Lee will make the MyCareer story better than ever before. Hopefully, we will get to see him sitting court-side during Knicks games too! But this mode can use a couple of tune-ups. First of all, we need to be able to view the playoff tree during our run toward the championship. There should be attribute caps based on position (no more 7%u2032 small forwards that are as fast as and handle like a point guard please). There should be different voice options because the one that has been used the last few years sounds like a tool. Then have some MVP and ROTY speeches like the HOF speech. Also, give us the option for actual contract negotiations so we can form super teams by taking less money. The inclusion of mom & pop sponsors was cool but maybe do some NBA Cares commercials or something too. That would be pretty sweet.

-Foul Calling: The fouls in 2K are out of control. I can%u2019t tell you how many times I seen a missed layup because of a hard foul. And in the age of %u201CHack-a-Howard%u201D why can%u2019t we foul off-ball and send that player to the line. Instead you run over to the ball-handler only to have them pass to the open man for a layup or dunk.

-Servers: Fix the damn servers. It takes forever to load a game and the lag in an online match is ridiculous sometimes. This should be number one priority, especially since this game is pretty much unplayable offline.

Well, that%u2019s all I have to complain about when it comes to the 2K series. I know a lot of people will have more to say about the gameplay (the passing in 2K15 was terrible) but my focus is more on the %u201Cfeel%u201D of 2K. This game is the best NBA simulation game. Show us that that is the case and make it feel like watching an NBA game.

Cheese ruins the entire online experience for me. Why is it that everytime i vote on a poll i have to give it a high rating for the site to accept my ballot?
