Great game!

8.5. Would rate more highly if consoles weren't limited to 3 relocations/rebrands/redesigns per MyLeague/MyGM file. A Create-A-Team feature outside of those modes might be a workable solution.

Great year-over-year jump.

A great game. The gameplay is great. The AI adjusts to give you a challenge the modes are excellent (Don't let negative comments on CareerMode stop you from getting this game) . It is better than 2k15 ( which is a good game) and has many major and minor changes that most B-Ball fans will like. It's not an easy game but once you learn it will be challenging and rewarding. This game is a must have.

Terrible storyline and once again buggy stuttering PC performance is an anchor to a otherwise fun game.

Still early to really vote...but these are supposed to be early impressions.

Everything I like about 2K is still there, and it's been (seemingly) made better. Stuff happens a little faster, motions look more fluid, etc.

Flaws (That I've seen so far):
%u2022 The Spike Lee thing has two major things against it (well, one major, one minor): The major thing is that nothing about what you do on the court matters, and you can't make any choices off the court. I didn't want to go pro after one year of college, but the storyline made me, etc. The other "minor" thing that keeps me from taking the mode serious: I'm a pretty vanilla white guy, and supposedly have a twin black sister. I like all the characters, but the whole thing looks silly.

%u2022 Playcalling is cumbersome. (Especially compared to Live %u2014%u00A0the only thing I like better about Live).

%u2022 Unskippable cutscenes during play. I don't care about watching the cheerleaders...or watching all the players file into the lockerroom at halftime in career mode.

While I'm still early (Halfway through my NBA season in the Spike Lee thing; and only two games into MyGM, plus a couple other random games), I can clearly see that this is the best-playing game of the series yet again. My biggest revelation (so far) came during the second game of MyGM, with my Wolves against the Nuggets. I'd had a couple early successes running the pick-and-roll with Wiggins and Towns. After that, the Nuggets slightly changed how they defended it (by cutting above the pick instead of below), and effectively ended my success with it. That was cool to see.

The only concerns so far are the few bugs that are still in the game (although it's pretty optimized, some bugs and glitches from 2k15 are still in the game) and, although the delay on online matches are a little lower than in previous games, they are still noticeable. Still one of the best games I've played, the best basketball sim yet. Thank you devs and 2K team, you've done a pretty good job.
