NBA 2K16 News Post

iPodKingCarter recently sat down with Ronnie Singh, AKA Ronnie2K, to ask him a few questions about NBA 2K16. While most of the interview is Ronnie hyping up the game (it's his job), he mentions a few little details here and there, while side-stepping a few others. The NBA 2K16 hype train will officially kick off in late July.

Some details include the following:
  • What Ronnie does for 2K...
  • Some NBA 2K16 details arrive in late July, but the bulk of it comes in August and September (which is typical)
  • MyPARK news will come in September and they are working on something for all of those 7' 2" "point guards"
  • At this time, he gives no confirmation on Online Association
Listen to the entire interview here.

I'm just waiting for that big feature that's supposed to change the gameplay drastically

Hopefully that big feature is something with the locomotion and physics system

My Career- The improvements of the attributes one by one and not in categories please. The strenght in the same group of vertical and speed, wf???!low post moves and lay ups in the same, really?Separate the attribute development. In the Park it doesn't exist that a stupid player plays with zig zag moves or running all over the court and he makes the shot, should lose lucidity to make the shot. Please fix the crazy Aldridge glitched shot and the other glitched. Reduce the slider attribute for shot that goes in, more foul call, better foul call. In my career i want the fat body(there was in old console 2k game, why not in 2015 game?). A lot less posterized plays, and blocking a dunk it should not be so easy. Reward good defense, less contest shot that goes in. Ah and pass attribute with ball handling ?protecting the ball with ball handling?Remove those groups of attribute development please.
Euroleague and d-league in my career. Customize sliders in my career(you can customize only decresing the sliders unless with the fouls, in this way would be awesome).

hi. for me and my friends from Poland Online Asso is only reason to buy 2k16. plsss give us this mode with full options: draft, custom roster and sliders, reset results, invite people after start season, stats, kick Gm. add FA, trades, etc. ONLINE LEAGUE must be in 2k16!

Same here for us Turkish Online League heads, and so many other league heads in the world but hey that's 2k, if they can't make money out of they won't deal with this OA or OL whatever they call.

From the answer we clearly see that OA doesn't have any attetion or priority in 2k16 features.

I'm interested to see if they have made any improvements to MyGM mode since that's usually the only mode I play.

I am writing in the name of more than 30 players in Spain who desperately needs online association. Please hear us and bring it back.

I personally care about gameplay, but a lot of us only play the game for that mode so it is kind of frustrating to not have it, therefore we usually focus on that.

@lvnba
you are not alone. in germany, turkey, us,hell all over the world there are desperate NBA freaks who really liked the NBA 2k11 style of Online Leagues. But you know, hairstyles, shoes, tattoos, MyPark... that is important for the avg user.
If you read between the lines you know they just don;t care anymore.

smdh at people thinking that they don't have multiple teams working on different aspects of the game. it's not like they have gameplay team, career mode teams, online teams, graphics teams etc

# 15 silverskier @ 06/29/15 02:12 PM
No online leagues or association, no 2k16

I think you guys will highly enjoy the work the gameplay team is putting in on NBA 2K16.

Finding it hard to go back to NBA 2K15 everyday. It's that time of year where I have to put myself in a position to not go grab the sticks in the office. We have the best in the business working on gameplay and we've been listening, reading and talking to various folk all year long. All those major things you want to see addressed is in their hands.

That's all I will say for now...

Oh and as for this interview... can't wait to talk about what he couldn't say in this interview. In the future though...

Nice.

I'm pretty hyped for 16. Especially knowing that Da Czar and O'Gallagher are working on the game for a full cycle. Can't wait.
