That's the only point I was trying to make a couple pages back. I think some took it as me suggesting that no one can hold their own in a football conversation with LB. That's not what I was attempting to imply -- honestly, I'm not really one who enjoys , or putting people on any kind of pedestal to begin with.

But there are certainly guys out there who are a little more intricate in their football perspective, and it's clear who those guys are. Doesn't mean their ideas to improve the game are better than anyone else's, but there's something to be said for those types of guys needing to have a hand in the feedback process.

Nahh I knew that's not what you meant. I would have to correct anyone who would say that. Nobody can know everything and there are some guys on here that really know there stuff. It's always a collaborative effort.

At least "mario running" might be finally gone. Only thing is Rice pushes over Johnson like he's weightless. It also could be because he's knocked off balance though.

I also like the way Rice squeezes by Reed and doesn't get stuck and it smoothly transitions into the break tackle animation. I think the Infinity Engine could really bring some good stuff NEXT year.

We can't take anything from those videos, though. For all we know, they turned up the RB ratings, squashed defensive tackling, or even just pieced those videos together by hand to highlight the running backs.

I still hate that swerve/zig-zag by Rice to avoid that Dallas defender after spinning off #52 though. I don't know if the loco of the ball carrier or the defender is the issue with this but it needs to be addressed. There is another one in that original video where a defender completely whiffs on a stumbling ball carrier so maybe this is all coming from the fact that they removed suction tackling last year and that was acting as a band-aid to diminish this effect.

Off the top of my head, there seems to be the need for attempted arm tackle animations, so defenders can at least reach to make some kind of contact with the ball carrier, allowing physics to then properly effect their movement. This kind of harkens back to what Bezo, LBz and others have been saying for a long time about the lack of engaged player animations of reaching for the ball carrier and there seems to be a lack of reach/arm tackle animations in general.

Now if Bezo, LBz and others have been saying this for years and I just came up with that just now when giving it some thought, I don't understand why animations like that still are not in the game or programmed to trigger properly.

I did like the tackle in the endzone, though. Nice momentum by the tackler in the endzone. That happens a lot in the NFL.

Watching that over and over I can't say for sure that it's just L-stick movement or a quick inside juke ala last gens "tap R1" juke.

You didn't like how in previous versions, the moment you hit the endzone everyone would just stand up and stop playing?
