Heck no! lol

Not to speak ill of Mr. Davis, rest his soul, but speed is already too dominate a factor in the game, lol.

The thing that is insane is that I'm sure EA has access to NFL films and can see the all-22 film and see all these techniques, schemes etc at will.

Thats what everybody said last-gen....and here we are. EA/Tiburon plays it safe. To them its "Why fix it if it's not broken?". Obviously, they feel nothing is fundamentally wrong with their interpretation of the NFL or Football. Besides, without competition, there's really no reason or motivation for them to take the risk of a complete overhaul. Personally, I don't have my hopes up for Tiburon suddenly "getting it'.

Isn't the game in beta by then and all the ideas the Madden people decided are in the game.

My point is, wouldn't it be advantageous to have GC's put together a recommendation list by the time13 rolls out. I'm sure they are thinking about 14 as I type this. Email and CC all the developers an exhaustive collaborative list of your recommendations from the community

From an outsider looking in, February seems to far in advance to bring you in for the ideas for 14.
My first trip to Tiburon was right after New Years this year. While down there, we don't only focus on the current game, but we do exactly as you suggest. We come prepared with feedback, recommendations, ideas, top 10 lists, bug reports, etc. We've already been discussing features for NCAA 14 since NCAA 13 launch. As a group, we communicate daily.

Now I probably haven't been coaching as long as LBz or some of the other guys (or even a HC, I'm an OC for high school level youth) but I'm sure some us can keep up with him.

If getting technical would make this game better I'm sure more of us coaches would go into detail -- but then again we'd get a 'Sim Community Want The Game Too Complex' type thread.
I meant what I said about LB, he is more knowledgeable than me. From the board, Senator Palmer is another guy who strikes me as knowing more than me. Don't extend that to think that everyone falls into that group. I have a good football foundation, I just like to be modest.=)

Can you tell us what those top 10 lists from the GC's were?

I would actually love to have this broken down if you would. Put some things to rest for me personally, because I really see eye to eye with his post. Seriously, would appreciate fact answers to that post.

Now I know that you can't talk at all about your discussions on NCAA 14, but I'm going to go ahead and assume that the Infinity engine will be in 14. Bribe, threaten, maim whoever you have to, to make sure that if they do indeed revamp the OL/DL in Madden, NCAA has to have it well.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

This x 1000. I'm sure (read: hope) the decision to put IE in NCAA 14 is early enough that line play can be addressed majorly.
