That sounds right. I haven't tested but the only real reason to use a 60 day dl slot is to open up a spot on the 40 man roster. If the player is not on 40 man no sense placing player on the 60.

Noticed when I simmed to "next half inning" new pitcher was in but pitch count did not reset.

Did they fix the players eyes?
Did they fix the DD record? I've been 2-0 since launch day even though I've played over 100 games.
Do the batboys still move in slow motion?
What type of DD games have you been playing?

What's wrong with player eyes?

Wind slider is the biggest culprit imo.

Yeah I'm starting to agree, the ball just carries forever off the bat and hopefully the wind being lowered will help with that. The HR's in this game feel rather cheap and lose all luster when every game feels like a launching pad for the long ball. I just saw Yan Gomes and his 56 power or so take a low and away curveball and yank it for a HR and the ball just kept carrying and carrying barely clearing the wall in LF.

The only eyes I notice that look bit zombie-like are the catcher and umpire at times.

Not entirely sure it's an issue with the patch or specific to playing against or at Cleveland as I played Detroit last night after the patch and didn't have the issue but every pitcher that gets brought in from the bullpen has a blank card showing zero stats, no name, no picture, nothing. It's the first time I've seen this but it's happened with every reliever out of the pen whether it be my RP or Cleveland's.

So I am not sure if it is a display bug. Because they are sitting on the 10 day DL but time left on the DL at 54 days, 45 days etc etc. Still it bugs me too.

But I went ahead and checked around the league and just activated all those players and then re sent them to the 60 day myself. Took me literally 2 minutes. But only if the time left on the DL was more than 60 days I moved them.

Yeah did the same thing.

Can you do this If you are just controlling your own team and not 30 team control?

I disagree. I haven't pulled a single hit on the inside of the plate since last two patches. I use zone and guess pitch. When I pick correct it's automatically a foul ball or it shows me the cut scene of it going foul. Hitting is off all the way around in my opinion. I do better randomly swinging at pitches than guessing zone and pitch.

Would love too see the additional improved hit types but don't want to risk it. Still on version 1.03.

I have yet to see see this since the first update. I only play player lock.

I'm loving the new generic HR animations. I mean, I was raised up religious and all. But I like the variety. Most baseball plate celebrations involve pointing to the sky.

Not every player I create, in my head, is religious, but I don't like having them do nothing at all so...

Nice. Hope they have more stuff like this down the line.

Wow. My experience is not even remotely close to this. What difficulty are you playing on? I use zone hitting ....no guess pitch. I've waffled between Hall of Fame and All star difficulty. I think it's fair to say that I pull less pitches and it's a little bit more difficult to get around on the higher speed fastballs....but I'm hitting all pitches to all different fields. The hitting is as good as I've ever seen and ball physics amazing. Most of my failures at the plate are legit....when a good pitcher gets ahead of me in a count and literally has me guessing. I've also had slumps at the plate that took actual "what am I doing wrong" moments and had to make adjustments. Couldn't be happier overall with the way the game is playing. Have you tried experimenting with your batting stance or view? I use Griffey JR. stance and have used this custom camera for last 3 years or longer - http://www.operationsports.com/forum...ra-2012-a.html

The problem for me - speaking only for myself - is sliders skew the game in one direction to correct core issues which should be patched. Two of the big ones are all the outs on chased pitches in the game and called third strikes and the new ball curving foul graphic. Both are major causes of diminished offense and I don't know what slider set will correct them. Sliders unrealistically increase one aspect of the game to correct problems which should be dealt with by the programmers. For people who only accumulate stats the results look okay but for people like me who play every game in manage mode the game doesn't pass the eye test.

Didn't you already create a thread saying you gave up on the game and you'd see us next year?

I've seen this happen since I started playing in '12. It's been an issue every year. Seems like it would've been fixed long ago. I wouldn't expect them to address it with a patch this year if I were you...

I'm actually still crushing. I do hit all over the field. My point is that where I used to select inside and fastball and guess right it doesn't matter how perfect I hit it it's always foul. I'm playing on veteran.

I'll even give you another test on my part. I created a 99 rating at every attribute and still can't pull any inside pitch for a homerun. I'm specifically talking about when you guess location and pitch.
