Ask 5 different people and you'll get 5 different opinions.

Personally I don't experience it in my full games and neither does Armor and Sword, whose stream I frequent. I do experience it in QC and (to a lesser extent) the sim/quick manage engine - at least pre-patch. The only thing I've tested at all post-patch is QC.

Others in the SP hook thread swore up and down that their pitchers were getting pulled too early in both gameplay modes (full game and QC).

Thanks man. I'll have to find some time and try and test this out. I usually use Quick Counts so I may have to go full games this year if it doesn't work correctly.

That does not mean I believe nothing has changed - yet. Those are just my results so far in about 5 games. That sample size is nothing, but since it seems to be similar to what you guys were saying I thought I'd throw in my two cents. They didn't specify QC in the notes, so it's possible the logic for that mode went untouched.

And I can't do full games right now to check those (plus I'm the wrong person to ask about that since I didn't have that problem pre-patch). Just letting one run while I try to get some sleep - pulled an all-nighter since I'm getting close to the end of Persona 5.
It's just too early. The pulls happened in QC AND simming. I just simmed a couple months worth of game and am looking at the box scores.

I'm seeing a lot of 6's in the innings pitched. Also I see a game that's 0-0 at 7 and both pitchers made it thru 7 innings. Take a 0-0 after 5 where it seemed a pitcher would be pulled, they both stayed in a 1-1 game after 7.

I think it's too early to have a knee jerk reaction. Will have to get a larger sample.

Disappointed that bunting wasn't fixed. Talking about SAC bunts, they come off the bat way too hard and fast. That sucks.

Has anyone checked the HDR slider issue?

I agree that it's early and hard to say anything definitively - that definitely wasn't my intention. I would have actually preferred to hold my thoughts back until I had some more data, but since I saw two posts about it already I figured it couldn't hurt to put my thoughts out there.

Good to hear you had some 6's in sims. Especially close ones / ones with runs scored.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if they've fixed or improved it for simmed games, as they seemed to do a lot of that to test things based on the streams.

But QC's doesn't look to have been changed significantly at all, based on actually playing it. The fact they've not mentioned QC's in the patch notes suggests as much as well, whether that's because they haven't had a chance to fix it yet or don't know it's a specific problem is anyones guess at this point. To me at least it's pretty obvious that no one really tested QC's this year as if they did they'd have quickly noticed something was off.

I agree with you guys as well. We do need more data and seeing how Feldman is not Kershaw in terms of stamina, it could just be a one off.

Testing a game, everyone bunts. Yep, 99% line drives down the 1st base line or 3rd base line. This is without moving the stick right or left, but just moving it up or down.

Will have to continue my house rule to just get the put out at first when playing defense and not the double play. Maybe I'll look at zeroing out bunting ability on all players. Worth a try.

What about all the passed /catcher dropping the ball? It is happening every inning sometimes multiple times, ruining the game.

Ah, wasn't referring to you bcruise. Watching the boards you seem to be one of the level headed, thought out posters.

For the life of me. We've all seen their twitch streams and see how EASY their art director goes into menus fixing and looking at things for them to NOT address these 3 main eyesores is just outright awful

Basically those of us that care about these three teams can't have just the most simplest fixes? I mean they're just a minor adjustment!

Game Is Good. But I can't stomach to play in these stadiums at all and many others I've talked to away from this forum feel the same

I've reported this bug through their forum twice. And all over Twitter

Nothing done about it

There is nothing wrong with SunTrust's grass. Have you seen a game there? It's pretty neon under the lights.

I have and it depends on broadcast. MLB the show doesn't do this with other stadiums so they shouldn't try to. It looks awful and is a bug nuff said
Give me a break with this jesus, far bigger fish to fry.

Seems like a significant patch.

As for some of the issues people are seeing--folks, get comfortable with the idea of adjusting sliders. They are there for a reason. The default settings are never ideal. In some cases, default is nowhere close to ideal (manager hook at zero + increased SP stamina has always worked for me in getting realistic SP outings). The ratings of your players and game situation also matters.

Absolutely. No one should jump on anyone's slider set thinking it will "fix" things for them. Need to do your own testing. Patience.

Something to consider anyway...

Yes, Cincinnati's starting pitchers would be a good example. Stamina ratings of 78, 74, 75, 73, 78. Couple with everything else, they might not be around long in a game.

I just played a QC counts game where it was MadBum vs Tanaka. Final score ended up being 2-1. Tanaka line was 6.1 3 hits 2 runs 3 bb 4 k's on 90 pitches. He was taken out in the 7th with one out. The minute a runner got to 2nd he was taken out. MadBum went 6.0 3 hits 0 runs 3 bb 12 k's. He gave up a lead off double with 85 pitches and was taken out. Seems to me that if your pitchers are in a close game in the 6th inning or later and they give up a runner to 2b, they get the hook. Still, I think this is fairly realistic with the pitch counts they had.

A lot of display bugs in franchise are still there such as "career high" with their homeruns and the AL East standings being displayed no matter what division they are talking about

Agreed. Very irritated about the CPU still removing pitchers especially after the patch says this was fixed.

For those of us that have been anxiously waiting for this patch, it's truly disappointing to say the least.
