Anybody can play golf with basically only three button clicks. Now you can experience golf with a variety of character customizations, fishing, and karting across the courses. You can develop your skills with the challenge mode and compete with other players globally through the online mode.

What type of golfer are you? A casual weekend golfer? A semi-pro? Maybe you’re one of those golfers who spends more time picking out your outfit than you spend practicing your swing? Or maybe you’re not a golfer at all, but you’ve been playing Hot Shots Golf for years!

No matter your play style, we’re pleased to invite golfers and gamers of all skill levels to play the next installment in the Hot Shots Golf franchise — Everybody’s Golf. And what better way to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the franchise than to launch the next iteration of the series this summer.

Not only does Everybody’s Golf boast the same three-click shot mechanic our fans have come to love, but the series returns with new features such as more character customization, robust online modes,* and other fun activities including fishing, buggy racing and treasure hunting in the open world environment. How you enjoy the game is up to you.

Below is a list of bonus items below that you’ll receive when you pre-order the game at PlayStation Store

I'm only gonna get this, skipping madden. Don't have the same time as I used to and I have a great feeling about this game. It's had a beta. Been in development for a while, should be sharp from the get go.

Not a huge golf fan at all, I think the last one I purchased was the last Links game, but I am really looking forward to this one.

I wanted to like TGC2, but it just isn't my jam. Everybody's Golf looks like it might be a great social game as well a good arcade golf title. Really can't wait.

Seriously, Everybody's Golf is the only reason I have not sold my PS4. It's not bad, but I'm really more of an XB1 gamer and I just can't talk myself into turning it on anymore. For a lazy dude like me, Microsoft's Input One strategy totally works.
This is bait

So we are 22 days away from release. I noticed a few people asking about DLC courses through out the thread. In Japan they have a digital version that comes with a season pass. Everyone that pre-orders the games gets 1 extra course. If you order the season pass version of the Japan game you get 4 more courses so at least 5 download courses are coming to go with the 5 on disc for a total of 10 courses. Based on the prices in Japan an extra course looks to be $6 and if they offer the season pass over here is appears to be worth $30 which gives you 4 courses and a couple of outfits. Info from Sony US has been short though so hopefully we will get more details soon. Here is a link to the Playstation Japan blog for Everybody's Golf. They have actually done quite a few posts over there as the game is much more popular for them.

Edit: I tried to post the link but I can't yet because of my post count. Just search Playstation Blog Japan and search for the keyword golf.

Yeah it comes out on August 29th here in the U.S. With the midnight release on PSN we are pretty much right at a week away from release.

Wooo one more week!

My friends have been laughing at me because when they ask me what game I am looking forward to the most I will always tell them "Everybody's Golf!"

I just hope enough people know they changed the Hot Shots title. I am a huge fan of the series but I am ashamed to admit I only found out about the game around a month ago. Then again that made my wait less painful.

I have mine pre-bought on PSN and ready for pre-download.

II'm on a business trip the Monday night so i won't get to play until Tuesday after I drive back.

Looking forward to it!!

Does anybody know what the Avatar for pre-ordering the digital version looks like? I searched online but didn't find anything.

We're officially less than a week away!

Love hot shots golf, already pre ordered though there are some things I don't like...
Very few courses, even if dlc will be added
Customization options are few and bland, the pre made characters of past games were larger than life, these clothing options seem reserved especially for HSG
No pre made characters like Mel
The name change

Hoping for the best, online seems cool but for as long as development was I'd think customization would be deeper and courses more plentiful

I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping Sony will add a lot more content over time.

There are 5 courses in the base game and at least 5 more coming. You get one course as a preorder bonus and in Japan they are selling a season pass version of the game with 4 more courses for a total of 10. Maybe they will add even more, who knows?

I've never played a Hot Shots Golf before, but I will be getting this tonight. Between real life golf, TGC2, and this - my wife is getting concerned.

I'm totally on the fence with this one. Just not sure there is enough here to keep me interested. When it comes to Golf I take it very serious. Maybe I need to loosen up a bit.

It may look goofy but it's a very good golf game.

The additional course was the reason I pre-ordered the game. It's all downloaded along with Themes and Avatar, and am waiting for the clock to strike midnight

If you intend to get the game, I suggest pre-order it (if it's still possible) as you get an extra course as part of pre-order bonus.

I got home today expecting that maybe the game would be here as I typically receive games the Monday before release date when shipped from Best Buy. Don't ask me why it just happens.

Anyways I get home and its not here. So I'm thinking, no biggie they'll deliver it tomorrow on its release date. As the evening progresses I decide to look at my Best Buy account to see where it is in tracking and realize that I never ordered it! So I quickly ordered and am doing store pickup.

Whew! So glad I checked. Had I got home tomorrow and realized I never ordered it, there is no way I'm driving all the way back in to pick it up.

But in any event, the game is ordered, I'll pick up on my way home tomorrow and everything will be good to go tomorrow night.
