This is awesome to hear!

Did anyone notice if there was Home/Away equipment?

Looking good, everything looked sharper/cleaner to me, maybe just old eyes. Let the countdown to 17 begin. Just an old me waiting for the season to begin again !!!

From the trailer it looks like all the jersey issues are unchanged. I also noticed that the Indians have matte helmets in the trailer.

The changes highlighted in the video look great though.

Hopefully, they most likely made changes, just very subtle ones, usually what we see in the first blog/stream is very indicative of how the player models will look in the end.

I like the glossy skin texture on those couple of players in the beginning of the video and noticed Arrieta does look better as well.
Yeah they definitely improved specific players that they have face scans for now, but that wasn't what i was referring to, i meant the general body/uniforms of the players.

1. Busch Stadium Left Field Landing building
2. Umpire numbers
3. Dodgers matte helmets (maybe Indians)
4. Orange stripes on Giants home high socks
5. 399 distance marker in AT&T Park

The Dodgers matte helmets were patched into 16. They just need the 3D logo and we're all set.

I also noticed Indians still have navy undershirts, sleeves at home... Hopefully that can be updated yet.

I like the idea of the new umpire models as well, even the hair on the umpire is improved and looks like he has a face scan as well.

Oh, okay. We started a list of all the matte helmets, but I couldn't remember who got updated. I was also trying to see if the logos were 3D when taking the pictures, but I couldn't tell.

Anybody else notice that Arrieta's biceps looked a little bigger than other models and that his jersey sleeves were a bit shorter, or was it just me? Could be sign of new models/sleeve fit. Who knows?

Anyways, that trailer got me pumped! Can't wait for Thursday!

Around the 50 second mark there's a closeup of that umpire at 1B.

Thought Busch had more HoFers on LF wall last year

If I remember correctly it was the Dodgers, Rockies, and Yankees that got the Matte update. The Pirates, Dbacks, and Giants already had it (I believe not 100% sure). Yeah I couldn't tell either. I'm guessing from the screenshot you posted it's a no on the 3D logo, but I'm not sweating it. This is probably an older build of the game that was showed.

Actually, I thought the same thing. It looked a little more bare than I remembered, but I checked and nothing changed. The wall color might be a little darker, though. Still not dark enough in my opinion.

I love the new catcher throw meter reminds me of what I sent in to them from MLB 2K same kinda concept, but also when they show the catcher trying a pickoff believe it was Kluber it looks like the games in real time same goes for when the catcher throws looks like the games in Cinematic real time.

You might be onto something here, it really does look like the sleeves might be shorter, unless my eyes are deceiving me.

Everything looks awesome except the flags at progressive field are still three giant American flags instead of one American flag, the state flag, and city flag.

Maybe this will be updated in the final build?

It also looked like there were new catcher animations for stance and receiving pitches. Hope that wasn't just in my head.
