Yeah I saw it. That's gonna be huge. So Nike, New Balance, Adidas, Mizuno & UA all in. Not to mention the generics.

Assuming the physics, gameplay, animations, and Humanity AI improvements all behave as expected, that's worth upgrading from The Show 16 alone for me. Even if they didn't touch the graphics, features, modes, etc.

Loving everything I've heard thus far!

New ball physics will be a game changer. Bloops, Texas leaguers, top spin line drives, and curved shots down the line are going to be welcomed additions.

Also love the new Humanity AI, especially the timed step offs by the computer. That is really going to add to the run game.

Can't wait to hear more.

Looks like I am about to have $1000+ less in my bank account come the end of March.

I'm still hoping All Star/Mizuno mitts made it in along with Nike Catcher Gear and expansion to every other brand already in.

I thought it was the 3-6-3 double play that needs to be addressed? In other words, the first baseman would never go back and cover 1st if he stated the double play turn. These situations were always dependant on the pitcher making it to first in time.

I really hope they made batting gloves editable to the extent that they made fielding gloves editable.
The four categories for batting gloves isn't enough.
Looks like the logos on batting gloves can be edited. When they show Yasmani Grandal with the Nike MVP batting gloves (that were in 16) his Nike swoosh is white. That wasn't possible in 16 with that batting glove.

It's both. The issue with the 3-6-1 was that 99% of the time the throw from a the SS was a lollipop. So they both need(ed) to be fixed.

Player models still look relatively unchanged unfortunately, hopefully we at least get new jersey templates.

And if the clip of the Red Sox outfield celebrating at 3:47 is any indication, then no new jersey templates either. Hopefully just an old build, as Andrew Benintendi also looks like the model they had when they put him in MLB 16.

The stream on Thursday is probably when to ask about if they improved AI bullpen usage, correct?

Liked the video, but assuming that the grass will be somewhat different?

Or, perhaps any changes to player models or jerseys will be revealed in a different V-Log/Twitch stream rather than in the Gameplay vlog/stream? Like last year when they didn't really show off PBR until a few weeks before release, other than some screenshots and such to give us a taste.

Not sure about all the other models but I am sure most if not all the other models might have got the same changes, but as soon as the video begin pause if you noticed noticed Lindor new player model looks 10 times better than 16 model and the video they released in December.

I like the glossy skin texture on those couple of players in the beginning of the video and noticed Arrieta does look better as well.
