Franchise/ Universe, and Event modes are, and should be completely different.
Yeah but we aren't getting a universe mode in UFC 3 so I would settle for at least being able to control other fights.

Co Main event audio please. It's been missing from 2 straight UFC games!!!

Also "We are live" audio needs to be in.

2 very important things Bruce Buffer says that need to be in UFC 3.

As long as I can still skip past it!

Dennis Bermudez just posted this video documenting his trip to EA Vancouver where he did a mocap session with us.

Might give you a very tiny glimpse into the future...

I really like the 12min - 15:30 mo cap sessions.

GPD maybe you can answer this...

Why did you guys decide that Dennis would do mo cap and not some other fighter? Just curious to the selection process.

It's actually an interesting story, and if all goes to plan he won't be the only one.

But I don't think the details are public so I don't think I can answer at this time.

Now I do find it funny that Dennis is only a 1 stripe white belt in BJJ. Pretty crazy for a top level mma fighter to only be that. lol

Were you guys surprised to hear that when he said it?

That's not what a career mode is.............

It's because he never rolls in a gi so he hasn't been promoted.

I'd love to see him enter a white belt tournament though.

A lot of wrestlers can do amazing in BJJ tournaments without a tremendous amount of BJJ knowledge.

They just shoot a double, get 2 points, and hold you there till the rounds over.

Yay. Win.

Haha

Hey GPD, although you almost never reply to my posts, unless i say something dumb, i'd like to ask you something, that i'd understand if you weren't allowed to let us know about.

Basically as a PS4 owner and not having any intentions of going PS4 PRO anytime soon, i am concerned about competitive video-games on the consoles, starting to change and start allowing people with better hardware to have advantages like framerate or input lag etc.

I wanted to ask your opinion on that topic. Do you think, this is a threat for console gaming? I always liked playing online games on the PS4, because i know there is slim to none advantage when it comes to hardware on console games, because the varying hardware on PC, might give people who paid a fortune an unfair advantage over some guy with a terrible PC, but this was never the case with console gaming.

Do you see the PS4 PRO and the XBOX Scorpio, being a threat to multiplayer competitive console gaming? If you had the choice to choose for such a thing, would you ever support giving the better hardware an advantage over those who don't have the latest and most expensive hardware?

Do you ever see your game EA UFC taking a road like that and giving a competitive advantage to those who pay for more on their hardware? or would you rather just give them some better eye candy and keep the rest on an equal playingfield?

With the latest PS4 Update, some FPS games seem to be getting unlocked framerates and there are gonna be people playing at 50-60fps, while those with PS4 PROs can be playing at 110 FPS, so boy am i glad i only use my PS4 for EA UFC and the ps4 exclusives and i am reserving my PC for the other competitive games.

I hope same dude assigns moves and stats so every ranked fight is against same fighters.

Fighters having such wildly different stats is very realistic. it's like ea forgot about fight iq, accuracy and timing and just said this fighter is stronger, ect.

Oh boo hoo. Want to upgrade do so - don't want to then you'll deal with any potential consequences. So frustrating that people like this try to make arguments to hold us back from enjoying what we purchased.

Heck I have a Samsung SSD 850 Pro 1tb in my PS4 Pro... I by technicality have a superior experience than others. I'll also have the following:

Sennheiser HD800-S' Headphones
Soundblaster x7 Limited Edition headphone amp
Latest version of the PS4 controller
LG E6 4k OLED

By virtue of all of that one could argue I have a supreme advantage over others. So what you're gonna regulate my purchases as well?

So dumb

Options are always the best!

Assuming that we don't get any kind of Franchise or Universe mode, then I would love to have to have the option of playing every fight in career mode. If someone wants to keep using just their one fighter like every career mode since the beginning of time, then that's certainly their prerogative. However, in my opinion, career modes with, training, building attributes, etc. is the stalest mode in all of sports gaming. It's time to do something innovative and a career mode using a single fighter, no matter how much else is added just isn't something that I'm ever going to play. Let us play every fight and skip all of that training nonsense and maybe I'll give it a try.

Of course, if we don't at least get sliders and preferably an edit roster feature then all of this will be for naught. I mean, if EA can't provide something that is in every other sports game that I play, then I'm afraid this game just won't be worth my time. I'm a big MMA fan and would love a deep game, but I haven't seen anything to suggest we'll get that anytime soon.

I don't think for EA UFC they will get a competitive advantage.

I can't comment on any details beyond that.

As no i am who started this thing about 60fps) i think there is a solution for ALL - by just giving players an option to SELECT between 2 modes on their own:
1 mode - Graphics candy - 1080p/4K with 30fps
2 mode - Action candy - less graphics details/ 60fps

Some hardcore games with precise input which are online mp PvP challenged also allows players 2 options to select by their requirements.

EVERY fighting game including UFC Undisputed 1-3 from Yukes has 60fps, except old Battle arena Toushinden)

Please, give us at least the CHOICE in EA UFC 3.

Amazing how some of you are told not or that things aren't quite possible (under certain conditions) yet continue to beat the horse lol

1. Hope dies last
2. No words that 60fps or switch option for the new incoming UFC 3 "not or that things aren't quite possible"... That was about UFC 2 btw.
