The Mariners most popular unis not in the game? That makes a lot of sense.

They are worn on Sunday home games only. The Show has limited uniform slots that they said aren't changing. The mariners other 2 alts are worn more regularly and probably wont be replaced with a jersey worn on specific dates.

But before we get this thread of track we should use this thread for these convos http://www.operationsports.com/forum...6-jerseys.html

I thought the same thing. Not for the same reasons, but I wanted to know too. I was a little disappointed.

Also, sponsor cards in the packs. I think the MVP or Digitial deluxe even has a sponsors pack as a bonus. Though maybe that is not a preorder bonus, just a bonus that comes with those special editions of the game.

Pretty sure TheShowNation.com has all the details about the preorder bonuses and what comes with the special editions.

One thing that would tremendously help the amount of doubles/triples is correct ball physics on hits down the line. The ball should continue rolling away from the fielder, but it actually moves toward the fielder (i.e. back to the field). If this could be corrected, that would have a big effect on getting correct outcomes on balls hit down the line.

Fielders already took great routes. It's one of the reasons gamers complain about the lack of doubles and triples.

If it's that fielders won't take those good routes, that means the programming is purposely making players field poorly which is fine for poor fielders. I welcome that.

If that's the case, why is it called better routes?
I think they mean "better" as in "more realistic"

If it's an SCEA player they will get whatever equipment they were assigned this year. If it's a CAP they will keep everything as it was in 15. Same with deliveries and stances. At least that's how it was in 15.

What is with that tan padding? When was the last time you saw a mask like that? Why are they STILL not color-coordinated with the uniform? Nobody wears that mask.

And yes, I'm aware of masks that look like this:

But that isn't what's being represented either.

You can select specific colors for six different parts of a batting glove, but you get one classic catcher's mask, and it's tan and tan only. I just don't get it. Year after year after year.
100% agree with this! I have asked SCEA multiple times to add the ability to edit color of the catchers mask and cannot even get them to respond as to by they won't or can't.

Another thing they need to update are the team jackets that the managers and pitchers wear.

Sony did not have enough time to get it in this year. I am pretty sure they want to do it and I bet anything its on there list just not really high on the list right now. But I bet it makes it into 17.

I played 4 games in a row this afternoon and must have had like 8 broken bats. I wonder if this was cut down some for 16?

I'm not saying that real life has many sawed-off bats, but that many broken bats in real life in general is totally possible. I've seen Benito Santiago break two bats in the same AB. Wood bats break all of the time.

So, strangely enough, I'd like to see more bats break, but of the other variety... not just all bats that split and shatter.

8? Hardly:

Quote:
That's been MLB's goal since 2008, when bat breakages reached an all-time high, with approximately one per game.

Over the past four seasons, MLB has made a concerted effort to make bats safer through specific programs and regulations. In the process, there has been a steady decline in broken bats.

Constant for the past year, breakages currently occur at a rate of around a half-bat per game. Last season, the rate was .50 multipiece failures per game. The most up-to-date breakage information for this season shows a rate of .53 bats per game.

Full disclosure, the article is mainly talking about bat's that break into two pieces and become a danger rather than a simple split that the batter just walks back to get a replacement and that number is probably hard to track but 8 is a bit high...

If I remember correctly, they was a thing where the maple bats where breaking more often.

Break rate was about the same but because of the grain of maple bats their breaks are more extreme (dangerous).

Ah okay. I knew there was something but I couldn't remember the specifics.
