try playing 5 on 5 in the Pro Am. I had a game where there was 4 teams on the same court and then all of a sudden everybody was a ghost. only thing was showing was the ball and the circle under your guy... we played a game with no characters on the screen just to get the win. TERRIBLE!!!!!

I feel like they have dumbed down the help of the help on p'n'r. It was kind of too strong in 2K15. Anybody noticed it ?

One thing I have to give huge props to 2k is shot blocking. I have a 7'2 perfect center, so I really can see how great shot blocking is. From players timing to miss jumping and still going for the ball, it's outstanding this year.

The accurate cheesy unrealistic football long passes for cherry pick is BACK in Online Quick Matches!!!
This flaw is destroying the online SIM experience.

myCareer is really annoying.

I understand the idea that since they got Spike Lee, they thought they should give him reign to do what he wanted, but it's linear story where you sit and watch 10 minute cut sequences with zero interaction.

At least last year I got to make some choices. As it is, I'm just watching a movie between games, which is the last thing I want to do.

All my 7 games today people were exploiting the cherry picking, no matter how i put my defense, my sliders, my defense emphasis, etc etc etc,,,,this is a big flaw.

Other issues: not enough offensive rebounds or fouls.

I'm having the exact opposite issue. On SS, the computer does not miss at all. Driving to the paint no matter what, and full court cherry picking. Awesome

I seriously feel like no matter what the CPU puts up, they make. While I can't hit ANYTHING.

Time to drop to all star. Lots of BS from the CPU on superstar

Things I'm not liking:

- Shots are never made when contested. At least it feels that way. I'm not talking about tight coverage either, but even if so Curry is known to make a layup or two when he's going in, much less a mid-range jumper or three-pointer. They're made like 2% of the time. For a playmaker like Curry, he makes a lot of unassisted buckets doing his thing around defenses to get a shot off. I was 2-15 with him in FG's. Again, I wasn't being unreasonable with him at all. I went for Freelance movement, and some of it is a bit sluggish or is passing to the wrong guys... another time for that. I'm just not scoring so I'm taking it out on the game, when really I know it's that I suck. Still doesn't take away from my first statement though.

- Crowd noises and reactions are abysmal. No loud cheering or booing for any sort of buckets, fouls, rebounds, turnovers, etc. They're just not there.

- I found out why I am getting timeouts called on me when rolling the stick with Remote Play. The entire touchscreen on the front of the Vita is like the PS4 touchpad. That means the slightest touch with even a slight hair becomes a timeout.

- Rim physics a bit iffy. Too many back-iron shots from deep finding their way in the basket, when really that rarely happens.

how do you use the gatorade items?

2k needs to eliminate that 'touchpad timeout'.

Just the 'slightest bit of contact' from your fingers accidentally rolling off the sticks (or missing a 'square button' press) INSTANTLY calls a timeout.

Too many times I've been driving to the basket.. and just before I finish... the ref stops the play for an inadvertent timeout.

C'mon Son - Who's idea was this? lol

It's true for the touchpad as well? I assumed you would have to press down its button for it to activate. Anyway, it's the same issue on the Vita which are right next to the sticks, no roll-off needed. This could be addressed in two ways:

1) Change the RP configuration so that the "touchpad" is in the middle portion only, and not on the full touchscreen (do it like most games where R3 and L3 are in the bottom corners of the touchscreen instead of the rear touchpad).

2) Give three timeout options: Manual, Assist, and Auto. Assist would be what Auto is now, and Auto disables our ability to make timeouts... at least in-game. Maybe we could press pause or something, but I was frustrated when I gave myself two technical fouls just trying to do a stick move.

Big men dunking on putbacks and on dishes under the basket is a thing of beauty and power. I'm not even a Heat fan but Whiteside is bangin on any and everything off low post catches. Lovely.

Quick question: Can you put tattoos on created players? (not MyPlayer)

Love it. The story is a big cheesey, especially because I'm white with black parents, but other than that I love the game.

Sure, contested shots should miss more often than open shots. But these guys can still hit contested shots in real life.
I'm also worried that 2k is going to nerf the defense allowing the offense to be overpowered. We have had the game for a couple days. Plus offense will always be overpowered regardless of what defense you throw at the gamer. As soon as the gamer masters the sticks, s/he will demolish the CPU.

I don't really keep track of what types of shots I make, but I am certain that I've hit a fair bit of contested shots on the inside and from the outside.

There is going to be this constant battle between gamers that wants everything simple. People complained about contested shots going in last year where there was absolutely no effect on the shooter when you heavily contest their shots. If it's this, the current state where contested shots has less chance of going in, OR contested shots going in at an alarming rate, what would you rather have?

What about all the people who is loving the game the way it is? If developers decide to nerf the defense, those loving the game the way it is going to be bore out of their minds. As I stated in a few threads, you can always overcome a challenge, but you can never overcome the boredom you get from beating an easy CPU.

It's simply time to up our stick skills. Me, you, everyone.

Give it time. Keep playing.

I got blown out by 30+ my first game on All Star. Every game I'm understanding movement better. Understanding defense. Taking my time offensively. I'm scoring more and doing a better job defensively.

Six games in on all star and I lost by 10. Still a tough loss but I'm seeing less of the mistakes that cost me points and every possession I'm learning what to do better.

I still play man to man on defense too. It's a new game. New physics. New ratings. Keep playing. It gets easier to score with talented players once you start understanding the game.

If anyone's got any princeton offense tips I'd enjoy it. Can't really get anything good with it.

My advice.

I love what 2K is doing but their audio settings are awful. The idea that crowd is set to 60 on the broadcast setting is boggling. The crowd is not that low in games.

I pushed the crowd up to 70. 75 seemed too high as MVP chants were pretty much deafening. I set effects to 80 and player chatter to 75 I believe. Nice to hear a couple things like you would in an actual broadcast. But it's still low enough that you can't make out every comment. Commentary is at 75 and another setting is at 80, can't remember which.

Anyway the point is crowd audio is too low and commentary is too high in all settings. It ruins the immersion. Change it and you'll get a better sound from all areas.

Commentary always goes to zero for me, as I prefer a more on the court presentation style. 100 for crowd, PA, and player chatter is great for me.
