Is there a profile somewhere that shows hours logged into the game? I always like those kinds of numbers. I see the V.I.P. screen, but it doesn't seem to show that many stats.

Also, I'm having trouble scoring in this game. I am using A&S's sliders right now, and I think people will mostly say "Up your sliders," but they're essentially the same in general. Anything I should be doing if I'm not running plays to get more open shots? I'm using the Warriors, by the way.

Some issues that should be fixed is Stanley Johnson afro glitch , and Norman powell needs a cyberface and also can we get some petitions or something going so that we can be able to put tattoos on created players and as well as draft classes

Still struggling understanding the offense this year. It seems like both myself and the AI are struggling to get any kind of flow on offense, playing on All Star.

Controls are also a bit confusing and will take some getting used to. Like others not sure why they changed them.

Run into a few quibbles:

1) On MyCareer, when you are in college, your teammates don't really make you the center of the offense despite being 'the star'. As a shooting guard, I had to call for the ball constantly and run pick and rolls, because they wouldn't run plays for me.

2) *******SPOILER***********

Also in MyCareer your agent makes a big deal about how you will go #1 overall, then I went... 22nd. And nothing was made of it. There was no scene where I was disappointed, there was no reaction from my family or my agent. Really blew the immersion / film aspect they were going for.

3) I read a lot about how the myLeague / myGM AI was so much more sophisticated this year. So I took the Pacers, and shopped Monta Ellis on day 1. I got offered Derrick Favors and Andre Drummond (with filler on both sides), amongst others. I tried increasing the 'trade negotiation difficulty' and it did nothing. Somehow Monta Ellis' star rating is roughly the same as those players, which is utterly absurd. A broken trade is one where you know one team would take it in a heartbeat and the other would never consider it in a million years. Makes me wonder if myLeague is even going to be playable if those sorts of trades are possible.

Good:

- This has easily got to be the best looking sports game on the market. The visuals are stunning, truly stunning. Lots of eye candy, new animations, the presentation is great, and there has been a much needed overhaul on the sideline characters, which in 2K15 could be weird and borderline scary.

- As far as I can see, we are rid of that annoying coach. I still hope there will be some kind of feedback from your team/staff. I'd still rather see him replaced than entirely removed, but the berating after scrimmages without any explanation is something I will NOT miss.

- The pre- and post game shows are back, and even though I sometimes skip them I like that they are there.

- Your teammate offensive AI is much improved. Now you can actually play without having everything going through you. There is still some poor movement though, and I have gotten many a "hold ball too long" because none of my teammates even attempts to move when covered. The rebounding is better but not great, and small guards can still pick rebounds out of big's hands.

Not so good:

The AI still cheats, the inhuman reaction time to loose balls is still there even if a little toned down, and they still hit 80-90% mid/long range and freethrows when you're on the court - even on ROOKIE (I had the Jazz hit 25 of 26 FTs on me). And while the CPU defense has gotten much better, your teammates are still pretty much useless. Just give us sliders in MyCareer and be done with it. I'm not entirely sure (well who am I kidding) that I would have preordered 2K16 i I knew that this wasn't fixed.

- The much hyped "Livin' da dream" is a huge letdown, you have no say in it, and none of your choices or even how you play matters at all. The story, while quite well written and acted is not very immersive (twins, come on) and a bit cliché and kinda predictable (Who didn't guess the exact outcome halfway through the story). I never identified with my character, the story is completely linear, and it doesn't shape the player you become when you enter the NBA. It could have branched out with you picking up something on the way, instead of all the scenes of bickering and and the typical movie conversations "do you remember that day Freq, when we were twelve, it was autumn, the sun was shining from a cloudless sky and the birds were singing and you wore the etc etc...".

The choice of which college you attended to should at least affect some different attributes or something (why did I read all those letters again?), now it's just a different jersey. I understand this may be a bigger deal to Americans though. You're still a FA after rookie season, but it's nice to be able to be a #1 pick in any case.

- I'm not an icon passer, and sometimes it feels like the AI "chooses" which player you pass to, in 2K15 you could hold the stick right and it would pass to the rightmost player, now it can very well pass to a player in the middle, or even backwards. It it probably an adjustment issue, but I for one find it less intuitive and it hampers my transition game.

- The camera shake option has to be the worst design decision of modern game development, and while I can turn it off for my freethrows, it still shakes when the CPU takes theirs. The camera shake is even on the jumbotron. If it'd only been a sort of simulate-stress-nuanced-sort of thing but this is just going full ******. Avoid if you have the slightest headache.

- I have set a secondary nickname, but the commentators ever so often refer to me as Freak, even on the post game show. Now, it may not matter as much to me as to others, but it's still silly and has a wider usage than we were told (that the nickname was only there for the story).

N/A:

- I couldn't find any camera setting for the practice sessions. Ended up playing scrimmage without being able to see where the ball was. There could be a setting I haven't found though.

- I really hope that there will be some sort of interaction system with the team/coach/GM, while you had very few options in 2K15, at least you had the opportunity to complain about a teammate and influence trades once in your career. Here I can see none so far, but I'm only 12 games into my second season. Hopefully I will have incentive to play out an entire career on this one.

I don't call a lot of plays either....I just let the freelance offense flow for a lot of open looks. A big thing here is that you have to let the plays develop. If your dribbling without purpose the court will shrink on you and you'll have no spacing...

Other than that, dribble hand offs and give and go's work pretty well....then there's always the good ol' pick and roll

I played one like 3AM EST. Lost by 2 on a late score. It was a mix of high ovr and low ovr players. Input lag wasn't too bad. Its like last year REC but with jerseys. Cats still don't pass. Lol

Jason smith has a higher vertical rating than Aaron Gordon and Hezonja. That's all I got.

Transition D is awful, fast break or after a made basket.

Seems like the ability to play D in and near the paint against aggressive players who try to force the issue is bogged down. The offense is rewarded over good D. They either slide by you or its a foul and most instances.

All my post are from online play.

Don't want to repeat much of what's been said, but the first thing I immediately noticed was the buttery smooth fluidity of the jump shots, feels great.

Speed of the players is very noticeable. You see a big difference between say a Kyrie Irving vs. Mo Williams.

Defense is fun and this is coming from a Kings fan. You need to play sound D or you're gonna get smoked. I can see from a few games, I'm gonna have fun causing havoc with Willie "Trill" Cauley-Stein.

It's going to take me a minute to get used to the new substitution on the right stick.

Sneakers Sneakers, Sneakers! As a sneakerhead, it's about time they scanned them in. They look great in game.

What's some of your favorite songs on the soundtrack? For me, it's Rise and Shine(J.Cole; the most underrated rapper in the game) and I'm so sorry.

Graphics and gameplay realism/likeness is incredible. 2K has done an amazing job on this part of the game. Kudos to the team who worked on this part of the game.
Sounds like you're looking for myleague.

So wait, we can't independently select the Stance socks for each team or player outside of MyPlayer??? Am I missing something?

As I'm going through and tuning up the rotations for all the teams, I'm so thankful that Leftos and company added that "forced non-starter" option. Hopefully it will keep the CPU from doing too many wonko things.

I will say this though, many NBA team have absolutely abysmally constructed rosters. It's like playing in a pick-up game where there are just random skills set. I see why the CPU has so many problems with rotations, the real life GM's are crazy, lmao.

This is the best sports game period. Everybody covered the good. My negatives are..

1. After scoring, my team stands there and the other team hustles for easy buckets (transition defense)
2. Big men don't defend the paint against back door cuts (protect the paint emphasis)
3. Lebron shot 12 threes in a game and hit 10
4. Seems like every time I went up (20+) the cpu went into god mode, hitting every shot.
5. During post game, Shaq said Andre Drummond makes a living outside the paint even thought he never attempted a jump shot. He then said klay Thompson is a beast on the low block.
6. jahlil okafor set up the offense from the 3pt line. Drove to the paint with a crossover, then proceeded to get blocked by jose Calderon.
7. My gm... The cpu offers stupid trades (a 2018 1st, Nene for Steph Curry). Talk about lop sided. That would never happen.

I hope 2k17 brings a real have show.. Like 2k football. A weekly highlight show, talk about moves around the league, in depth draft preview, review. Full on d-league... Promoting and demoting players to and from. Actually scouting prospects (watching their film or games). A real draft (players going on stage, draft analysis on picks, predictions, arguments (bill Simmons lol), Boos and cheers, suits, reports, interviews. Player hold outs, trade demands. New dunk animations. CAP tattoos, body type.

Again, the game is amazing. I'm just pointing to things that would enhance what we have

Absolutely loving this game, but one thing 2k needs to address is players cocking the ball back for a dunk in traffic. I cannot stand having a wide open dunk/ layup, only to get blocked from a trailing defender.

# 437 countryboy @ 09/27/15 01:22 PM
This game is truly beautiful! It plays smooth, its balanced and absolutely fun! I love how basketball IQ plays a big part in this game. Defense is once again fun to play, matchups are very important, as well as staying within your team.

All I need is someone to release draft classes for the next 3 years and I'm ready to go. Got my logos ready, designed my court numerous times as well as uniforms. As soon as draft classes hit, I'll jump into MyLeague and not look back.

A good way to limit this is to go up with a one handed dunk instead of a two hander. I'm use to just pushing straight up on the stick for a dunk and that triggers the two-hander, I've got to get use to using the dominate hand dunk if someone is closing.

Anyone know why the new socks aren't being worn in games?

My first two games everyone had them on. Since then, it's just plain white socks.

Anything I could have done or need to do? I haven't done much but Play Now and change some audio settings.

Game vs cpu would be great if not for the legacy issues that remain.....

Miss your second free throw and the cpu is fast breaking the other way with a numbers advantage. How often do you see that in real life? Happens every time in the game.

When the cpu decides to score it will score. I've played great defense only to have a guard get in the paint and throw a pinpoint accurate pass when the ball, his arms and other body parts impale two of my defenders bodies. So much for a live ball. My guys get hung up by bodies on the sideline and take forever bumping into players as they try to get free while running a play yet the cpu can ghost through people if they absolutely need a bucket.

I've had smothering defense on a player that has picked up his dribble beyond the timeline and yet that player is able to pinpoint a bullet pass 30 feet to a player under the basket that my cpu controlled defender decides to not cover.

With all of the new plays and freelance offense the cpu's go to is still spamming the paint with dribble moves.

When it counts the most your cpu controlled teammates go brain dead. I've played tough defense and forced a bad shot only to watch my two teammates under the basket watch as the ball hits the ground. Usually the shooter swoops in and gets the ball and either passes to one of my brain dead teammates man for an easy bucket or get fouled.

The game is so good otherwise. It just stinks especially when you're sweating out every possession and the cpu gets the cheap stuff. Random guy open under the basket. 40 foot laser accurate passes. Body parts going through people.
