- I don't know if it was clear from Erick's diary, but Training this year has sliders for each attribute rather than having to select a single area of focus per category. So you don't have to mark the 3PT Shooting checkbox on Fundamentals and worry that other areas of the player might not be getting enough training and regressing. This year you can go into Fundamentals and adjust the 3PT shooting attribute sliders up while sacrificing from _specific attributes_ that you don't care as much about, or from each attribute equally. Each category (Physical, Tactical, Fundamental) has its own attributes that add up to 100% with 0.5% slider precision, so you get, let's say, 200 ticks/points per category to spread out however you want. Player Type-guided training makes a return of course, for those not as knowledgeable or that can't spend that much time tweaking every slider. So if you want your Pass First PG to train towards becoming a Defensive PG, you can of course just choose that. But if you know exactly which attributes you want to see developed, you can just up their sliders a bit, and take away just enough from the rest.

Has anyone heard anything on whether or not 2K16 will allow you to pick what Jerseys your team wears in MYCAREER?

I know that your reasoning sounds cute and all but what is the logic of having an online league with those features you mentioned and NO OFFSEASON? I'm not sure where the disconnect is happening for you guys to think that 2k online heads were going to just take that in stride with such an awful showing last year. Is this not confusing to anyone else why such an integral part of a feature would just be ignored and say "**** it, we gave them typical admin functionality that are typical?". I sound ungrateful because I am. I am so pumped for the offline guys because they seem so excited. As an online head that's been begging for at least just a full functioning online league, this is awful. I've been on 2k since dream cast but there will be enough games and another improving basketball title to take a look at this season. I'd say " I hope it's fixed next year" but this is a repeating cycle just like hoping the servers are getting improved lol. Congrats to off line mode guys though. Yall will have a blast.

This is great stuff, minus no custom arena music,

Will all of this be available in season mode (like the arena creator) and how many create a team slots will there be?

i like the addition of the ticker, but to be really useful, it should be present in the game in progress, so that you could get updated in real time of scores around the league. I don't think the blog states that, unfortunately.

Has it been confirmed how you use your own image? Do you need to upload somewhere or just save it to your hard drive?

2) How is your Summer League roster handled? Do we have extra roster space, can we invite players who aren't officially signed to play for our SL team?

Yes. A number of players are automatically put on your team (your own draftees and very young players under a certain overall that are under contract on your team) and can't be removed, but there's a huge pool of available players that want to participate in Summer League waiting for you to pick them and add them to your 13-man roster. Once you're done selecting players for your user-controlled teams, you can opt for all of the remaining empty slots of user-controlled and CPU teams to be automatically filled out (we use drafting logic that tries to ensure rosters that are as balanced as possible), but user controlled teams get first pickings. Once you're in Summer League you can't edit your rosters, but you're free to set up your rotations on a global or per-opponent basis just like normal.

3) Can injuries carry over from Summer League or the 2k Hoops Summit to the Regular Season and vice versa?

Injuries are disabled in these parts of the game. We tried to make the experience fun and not frustrating (nobody likes having their star rookie go down with a season ending injury during the summer) for the first year. If you consider injuries an important part of those experiences as well, we can discuss enabling them or making them optional in the future.

4) Is there a way to review records before approving a trade between two CPU teams?

Not that I know of, but giving the user some more info in the case of trade approval is a great idea moving forward.

5) In Sim Cast Live has the Timeout logic been tweaked?

SimCast Live is all new for this year and fully utilizes our gameplay engine, so the timeout logic is the same as when you're on the sticks. "Regular" SimCast that uses the simulator engine makes a return, and we've made some timeout related fixes, but I'll keep an eye out for feedback after you get your hands on the game in case what we did wasn't enough.

edit: And just to be safe can you confirm if Custom Draft Classes are still in the game?

Of course.
