We can still make draft classes right?

Yes. A number of players are automatically put on your team (your own draftees and very young players under a certain overall that are under contract on your team) and can't be removed, but there's a huge pool of available players that want to participate in Summer League waiting for you to pick them and add them to your 13-man roster. Once you're done selecting players for your user-controlled teams, you can opt for all of the remaining empty slots of user-controlled and CPU teams to be automatically filled out (we use drafting logic that tries to ensure rosters that are as balanced as possible), but user controlled teams get first pickings. Once you're in Summer League you can't edit your rosters, but you're free to set up your rotations on a global or per-opponent basis just like normal.

3) Can injuries carry over from Summer League or the 2k Hoops Summit to the Regular Season and vice versa?

Injuries are disabled in these parts of the game. We tried to make the experience fun and not frustrating (nobody likes having their star rookie go down with a season ending injury during the summer) for the first year. If you consider injuries an important part of those experiences as well, we can discuss enabling them or making them optional in the future.

4) Is there a way to review records before approving a trade between two CPU teams?

Not that I know of, but giving the user some more info in the case of trade approval is a great idea moving forward.

5) In Sim Cast Live has the Timeout logic been tweaked?

SimCast Live is all new for this year and fully utilizes our gameplay engine, so the timeout logic is the same as when you're on the sticks. "Regular" SimCast that uses the simulator engine makes a return, and we've made some timeout related fixes, but I'll keep an eye out for feedback after you get your hands on the game in case what we did wasn't enough.

edit: And just to be safe can you confirm if Custom Draft Classes are still in the game?

Of course.
I think making them optional in the future would definitely be the way to go there. Injuries are apart of the game no matter when they happen. It would be most realistic and an authentic NBA experience to have them, but options, options, options. Options is usually never a bad thing in these games.

Also, last year during the draft I found that I couldn't trade for players that were drafted earlier in the night or trade players that I had just drafted either. Is that in this year?

Leftos, I know it doesn't happen often, IRL but I would like to see injuries in the summer league. And I would love it if we could get more information when deciding to accept or deny a CPU-CPU trade. Because if we are using a fictional roster or are so far in your MyLEAGUE you could easily forget that Miami just drafted a stud SF and are trying to trade for Wiggins and you let it through because you thought they had a need for an SF but now they would have 2 superstars at SF and they wouldn't put one in a different position but bring one off the bench.

Is training just a simmed type of feature? It's something I'd love to be able to physically do if not.

How many can we create and even relocate at once?

good lawdy, this makes me super excited to get my hands on this title now. I am strictly an offline myleague/gm guy, another thing i want to know is the halftime report coming back this year? I really missed it, last years was pretty much non existent.

I'm interested in seeing if those Arena Customization features are available to current teams. For example, if I could "relocate" the Kings into the downtown area to simulate their moving into the new arena, and then create the new arena, that would be very awesome. Anyone get any clarification from the blog or the preceding posts on the thread?

Leftos

If you ask a team to speak with another coach, then hire him

Does that change the teams offensive/defensive philosophy?

.... Is there any change or benefit other than just having a different coach face on the sideline?

I'm sorry but Online MyLeague is still a joke. 2 seasons? No mention of CPU controlled teams? Just ridiculous. I'm not impressed at all. Offline is boring. Playing with friends online is where the fun is at, and if a developer can't see this by now in the gaming world, they are in the wrong business. This game is failing miserably.

You've missed some posts, I think.

With 30 team control, can you force a "team state"?

For example, lets say I control the Knicks and want them to do their best to try and contend now, instead of rebuilding, can I do that?

Lets say we start off with the knicks in a state that they want to try to make the playoffs, can I force a rebuild and make a guy like Melo available?

Can you section off certain types of CPU control for 30 team control?

For ex. If I want to make it so that any team can make trades but none of the teams are allowed to sign players, can I do that?

And how exactly do the coaches impact gameplay? I understand that theres hiring and firing, but will those actions have any actual impact on gameplay? For ex. are you expanding any of the coach traits or anything to make these moves more impactful this year?

You can put Melo on the trading block. That should attract some offers. However you'd have to get him to waive his no-trade clause, which isn't easy.

But if he hires Dantoni instead of keeping Fisher, will the Knicks drop the triangle?

Could you expand more on this, what exactly would it take to get a player to waive their no trade clause?

What I mean by that is what logic goes into that?

For example, if "play for winner" is extremely important for Melo, is he likely to accept a trade to a team with a better record than his current team?

It's never been exactly clear IMO what it takes for a player to give up that clause and what the game bases that "release" off of.

Last question for now, forgot to ask this:

Can you send your enitre team to training camp, like in the NBA in which all players are required to participate/show up, or is it still "pick 2-3 guys to attend"?

How many CAP slots are in 2k16?
Can we create a league full of fictional players?

As I've said before, Training Camps are a user cheat in a way. All players progress in the offseason anyway. If you want to give a player a few more attribute points at the end of the summer, you can use that feature. I personally don't to keep the playing field level.
