No NBA Player or Roster Editing in NBA Live 16 Confirmed

EA Sports has confirmed on their official Facebook page that NBA Live 16 will not feature NBA player or roster editing. That means, no accessory changes, no player rating adjustments, no changing jersey numbers, etc...

Maybe it gets patched in later? Maybe not, but this is not a good sign.

To me, the agenda posting is coming from guys that feel people should buy the game despite a feature that they want and enjoy not being in the game. For what is it? The 3rd straight year.

Not a lot of people in here are saying they won't give the game a chance at all; that's what the demo is for. They're saying just not gonna spend their $45+ on a sports game that's lacking a pretty basic feature.

Depending on how well the demo plays I may or may not buy this game, but if I do, it will not be a day 1 or full price/new purchase because of the inability to edit rosters/players if I so choose.

ROSTER MANAGEMENT IS REALLY WHAT'S GOT ME AS A NO BUY ...CUSTOMIZATION IS GOOD AND ALSO IMPORTANT...... BUT I CAN DEAL WITHOUT THAT .......NOT BEING ABLE TO MAKE TRADES OUTSIDE OF DYNASTY MODE OR EDIT ROTATIONS AND MINUTES IS WHAT KILLS ME THAT SHOULD BE STANDARD IN ANY SPORTS GAME I SHOULD BE ABLE TO RE ORDER ROSTERS ADD PLAYERS THAT ARE MISSING WITHOUT HAVING TO WAIT FOR A DUMB UPDATE ...ON TOP OF THAT I SHOULD BE ABLE TO EDIT JERSEY # AND ACCESSORIES EA WE NEED ANSWERS !!!!!!!

I wanna see Live succeed but they keep doing things like this which hold them back against the other game

no roster editing
no online assocation

roster editing should automatically be in the game, we shouldnt have to ask for it.

This is their last year of grace for me, I always thought it would take three games after that early PS3 level game live 14 to get to the level of 2k on all fronts, graphics, gameplay, modes, customization, online ect. Next year they HAVE to have roster and player editing, then finish out depth in modes. All star weekend, four quarter version of pro am, historic teams, online dynasty, maybe fiba. I'll just do what everyone else who gets 16 will, enjoy it for what it has and play 2k when I want something it lacks

I watched a vid showing off Live 16's pro am mode, tattoos and face scanning technology, which I then posted that if I buy a hoops game this year, it will be this one. I have the 'other game' from last year, and I'm fine with updating the rosters instead of buying this year's version...I'm just a little tired of it and I don't see enough of a reason to upgrade.

Anyway, then I came here and saw that once again there will be no roster editing.

This is a crippling blow, especially to people like me who are not sure about buying the game. The other things are nice, but the live team should have focused on something as basic as roster editing first. They have stripped control away from the user. Why is this a problem with Live every year?
