Do we know for sure that the halftime show isn't in? I haven't watched the whole livestream but could it be they are just in some games?
Also with the whole Damon thing, maybe they haven't had the opportunity to bring someone else in in time. They couldn't really have him this year because of the controversy around him.

Hate to be that guy, but are people really that upset about a halftime show? I usually watched my teams highlights but skipped everything else. People really seem to find anything to be OUTRAGED about nowadays. What I really want is the end of game highlights for each player back in the game.
No biggie to me. I just mentioned why it's so skipped.
Same music duh duhduhduh duh duh duuuuuuuhhh duh duh duh duh duh duh duuuuuuuhhh duhnnnnn duh que in Bruce talking.... same halftime show for the last 5 years... now let's back to the action same music playing in the background lol.

i believe there is a halftime show. it would be weird to add a pregame show, players intros and leave out a halftime show in season/gm mode. just my thought.

It's gets so hard to read some of these threads cuz y'all so demanding. It's one thing to get upset about a particular feature being removed but at the end of the day, there are more consumers than just you.
All of the "how hard is it to.." questions are extremely annoying cuz it does that you really don't know how hard it is to code some of this stuff.

- Disappointed in no halftime show but if they don't do it any justice people will skip it. To me that decision comes from a higher up not necessarily the Presentation Dev
- VC runs their business by metrics and data and I would guess focus groups from consumers to get feedback. They are trying to get more into the game with the same schedule. In 2K14 it was Practice Plays 2K15 it is halftime show. The halftime show was not engaging enough to keep the ****** 2K player from skipping it. No real in depth analysis no feel of being in a stadium like actual performers. Give some trivia for VC something just don't abandon the halftime show.
- Pick and roll foul on the screen tendency is too twitchy I think they will have to look at it if it plays like that at release. I know the league has made that a emphasis last season but it might be too much.
- Gameplay, spacing and animations are night and day better. Some little things I noticed like when Rose called for a screen he taps his hip for Pau to come over just nice little realism touches.
- Shooting fatigue tied to stats and shot fatigue sounds legit.
if we get signature highlights back and have them work properly I think this halftime show debate would be quieted. that being said, it's honestly not that big of a deal you'll all still buy the game

last 15 years...
Thousands of people play this game world wide and have varying
opinions and complaints. Believe me there are tons of other things going
on with this game that can be criticized.
What's even more annoying is when guys like you go around
trolling anybody that has constructive criticism about this game
or franchise and being the judge and jury if their opinion is
warranted.
Going around being a cheerleader and mocking customers
that have complaints that you don't have doesn't mean you're
right and they're wrong and doesn't help the situation.
We are all NBA 2K fans and love this game but being a hardcore
fanboy and antagonizing other customers who have valid complaints
doesn't help the discussion and improve the situation. I'm relatively
new to the boards but I've read about your reputation.
I'm not even disappointed. I just hope this can springboard tnt more next year.

The livestream was meant to show off the gameplay (which looked great) but people are nagging about a halftime show? Come on man...

I loved the halftime show and have for years. I still watch them somewhat regularly if I want to relieve a moment earlier in the game.
People will page through the new pre game intros and what not too. Same with highlights. Does that mean they get removed until we just have bare bones basketball?
The halftime show was one of the most well done broadcast components of 2K. They could have at least left it in unaltered. And somehow Ernie and Shaq aren't in the halftime show when they're already in the game?

People like myself won't sweat it to much, but its ok to say we are surprised or disappointed by it. Over the years I've seen so many constant thread complaints about crew mode, myplayer, headbands, shoes, or jersey colors, I think it is ok if a few of use to say we are not happy about the halftime show presentation being reduced but are still excited about the game. Two things that 2Ksports has been the model for over the years is Gameplay and Presentation, so it will kind of throw a few of us kind of off when one of those has changed or reduced in a manner that is not appeasing to us. Overall 2K15 will probably be a great game still.

I honestly thought that this was the year we could get a halftime show like tha especially with the addition of Shaq and ernie.
If back in 2004 someone could transport me to the future and show me the presentation of sports games in 2014 I honestly wouldn't be impressed at all.
I will however enjoy the game for what it is.
