Why in the world is Russell Wilson's skin tone so dark?
Has no one noticed this?
It's a GLARING eye sore.

And where are the NBA style arm sleeves so many NFL players are wearing now?
Richard Sherman, Madden 15 cover athlete, is wearing one ON THE COVER.

I don't mean to be overly picky, but Russell Wilson and Richard Sherman are the two most popular and well known players on the SUPER BOWL CHAMPION Seattle Seahawks.

EA Sports, please, WAKE UP.

Don't get me wrong, I'm excited to play this game, and there's a lot I'm liking from what we've seen so far. The new presentation style looks great, the new "dynamic" celebrations look MUCH better than the canned cut scene animations from years past, and the new player models are noticeably improved. This years incarnation of Madden seems to be an obvious step up from last years version.

With that being said, when small details, like the inaccurate depiction of player skin tone and player equipment, which are so easily fixable, continue to be blatantly ignored and overlooked year after year, I can't help but scratch my head.

Don't and still don't like connected careers. The RTP made everything a sloppy mess, but then again I didn't lab it up, so I respect your perspective.

Lol. I agree 100% that presentation was completely absent from 12 to 13. For me, I want presentation, but if it's not there, it doesn't bother me. I want gameplay first and foremost. Presentation is icing on the cake for me, so I actually didn't notice the lack of it. It is lacking, I just didn't get caught up because I actually was totally impressed with the RTP. First time I SAW the demo, the first words out of my mouth were, 'good god!! This is the same dam# game!!!' Graphically, it looked the same. U mention the passing game. They may have taken away sig QB animations, but for me, what instantly changed my attitude of 13 was the first time I attempted a pass to tony g over a LB and in front of a safety. In EVERY madden from 92-12 I would imagine, this was ALWAYS a superman pick from the LB because madden NEVER attempted to add actual pass trajectories in the game. Well, they finally did in 13, and that alone sold me on it. Seeing a perfectly thrown medium powered pass float over a LB into Tony's one handed grab with a safety bearing down made me smile at a madden game for the first time in years. Lol. Now, the superman pick was there and happened from time to time, but pass trajectories actually existed for the first time in madden. Now, somewhere between updates and the creation of madden 25, they have already lost the trajectories! Lol. They look like they're making a comeback in 15. But, for me, 13 really made a quality attempt at arching passes. And, I agree, connected careers bugged me at first, but I adapted. It basically is franchise if u choose to be a owner. And, yes, the RTP was sloppy, but the actual gameplay (with sliders) was pretty nice IMO, and the after play sloppiness actually made me chuckle quite a bit. Lol. Looks like 15's presentation will be better, and I think they're tightening up gameplay, too. So, hopefully, we can all play a better, certainly NOT perfect, game.

I'm all for this playcall screen window, as long as it isn't used as an excuse to speed up the game. I remember when they did something similar in Madden 04 where the playcall screen would come up and most if not all replays were shown in the window instead of full screen. I would get delay of game penalties trying to enjoy the celebrations and replays, lol. I hated it. Let a button press throw it in the window, like 2k5 did. Other than that keep the presentation full screen.

I feel like presentation is sort of just something that's been jammed into Madden "after the fact" so to speak. Whereas with other sports games like MLB The Show and 2K's sports games, it appears purposely integrated into it to where it flows naturally. At times in Madden you feel like a presentation element is about to make the game break or something. I remember Rich Grisham made a similar comment, and it was something I had been thinking for years but couldn't quite articulate.
It's true. It's has always been an after thought. When you play online the presentation is at a minimum. Which I understand to some extent, but it should be there by default and have an option to turn off.

It's better than using real footage I guess, but is still frustrating.
Have you seen the game on a bigger screen than phone size? Sorry if you already answered that question, but to me, I felt like once I saw the M15 videos on my tv, the animations and player movement looked quite a bit better.

Most of the game is made to cater the head 2 head and online gamer not a solo franchise player. This is why presentation is lacking.

No weekly highlight show - too difficult to get everyone's highlights on the show for everyone to watch
No in game updates - see above. Plus not everyone plays at the same time
Commentary - more focus on last year and real life stories than in your current franchise.

I am wondering how ea will make these QB intros work for traded players, rookies, or drafted guys in cfm.

I'm not a huge fan of real life highlights or intros. Too much of the game is what you as the user does (especially in franchise mode) Not What happened in real life.

I saw the E3 presentation on my TV, and my desktop monitor is pretty large. They look to flow a little bit smoother, but this is something Tiburon has to change, doesn't matter what kind of TV or gaming device you have. Animations are just poor overall.

I will also add this.

I hope they have a demo and I hope it's two other teams besides the 49ers and Seahawks. I'm tired of watching them.

I understand, I was talking about the actual gameplay, watching that on a bigger screen, but overall yes the animations do have a lot of work left to be done. I just think they are focusing on the AI and elements of football, before they get to the animations, because simulation isn't the same without the intelligence to back it. It doesn't do any good for the game to look great and the players to move realistically, if the fundamentals aren't there and everyone behaves like cavemen. You have to have both, as long as were going to get both, I'm ok with them focusing on ai & fundamentals for now.

As long as they get it right when they focus. So far the things they've focused on have not been there yet. I'd rather them focus on everything and get it a little right, then focus on specifics and get a little right.

It's already been confirmed that the demo will feature 49ers vs Seahawks. I heard it during an interview at E3. I'm fine with these 2 teams being that they're arguably the 2 best teams in the league. I just hope we get a full 5 minute quarter game with sliders included so we can really get a feel for it.

Noooooo!!!!!!! Now I'm gonna be sick of the demo before I ever play it. Thanks E3, lol. When I get the game I'm never gonna wanna see those two teams.

Thanks for that. Hopefully we get 5 minute quarters and sliders as you mentioned.

Wonder when it will drop. Without NCAA ea shouldn't be worried about stealing their thunder or sales (I still believe this was the true reason they pushed madden back). Plus an earlier demo might allow ea to hear about bugs sooner than later.

Running animations (with ball) are so bad. That's a shame, because of the improvement with the overall player models. Maybe next year they will have more natural looking running animations.

Stuff like that is everywhere. Another example is the qb walk up animations. They look great, until the animation ends and it goes into that goofy stock jog animation until the qb gets under center. Until they remedy this the game will continue to look goofy, stiff, and amateur.

And yet it's still the best looking Madden in years, lmaoooo.
HA! That is so true.

Watch closely at 4:33 this is the beginning of real gang tackling coming to Madden. I just spoke with Sim and he said there's tech in place now for falls and collisions to happen more organically, they are building towards real gang tackling, this is phase 1.

In old gen the 2nd defender would just fall off though, trust me this is phase one of gang tackling, the tech for organic falls & collisions is new this year.
