MLB 14 The Show Video and Screenshots - The Stadiums (PS4)

We just received a new video from Sony of MLB 14 The Show featuring the new and improved stadiums in the game. The video centers around the theme of "The Cathedrals Are Better."

We have also grabbed plenty of screen captures from the video. You can take a look at them in the screenshots section.

Some tidbits:

PS4 allows for individual blades of grass to be modeled allowing for more realistic striping of playing surfaces.
Up to 1,000 unique character models in the stands. Kids will be amongst the spectators.
Bat boys are included.
Better color depth and accuracy, especially for night games. Seriously watch the video it looks amazing.

Dodger stadium changes didn't make it in unfortunately. But everything looks very impressive.

You guys will never believe me, but I most definitely had a dream about this exact video last week. I feel extremely weird right now lol.

That lighting at night looked so life like, I thought it was an actual game..craziness.

THE LIGHTING! Especially in the night games. My jaw dropped when they got to the part of Zimmerman batting in San Fran at night. Incredible... can't wait!

Looks really good. The pitching animations need to be upgraded though. When you see such realistic graphics, and such lousy animations, it is glaring. They seem to have nailed most if not all of the batting stances and HR follow throughs - hopefully pitching is next on their list in future editions.

I saw those big-brained children - pretty funny. Those kids are probably really smart.

A lot of people complain that the jump of graphics isn't that significant between current-gen and next-gen; however, that was crazy good. Watch the stadiums video, then go to the MLB 14 The Show Videos thread in the PS3 side of the forums. The PS3 all of the sudden looks really bad and very very dated. Once you play the PS4 version, you'll never be able to stomach the PS3 version again.
