R.B.I. Baseball 14 News Post

Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM) has announced R.B.I. Baseball 14 for current and next-gen consoles, as well as mobile devices, arriving this Spring.

With 2K Sports confirming no baseball game, it didn't look good for Xbox 360 and Xbox One fans, but it now looks like we will see a baseball game for Microsoft gamers after all.

Time will tell what kind of game this really is, but in the meantime you can keep track of the game on Twitter, Facebook and their official website.

Not to sound like a dick but they made the choice when next gen came out to go the XBone route. It was pretty clear leading up to November last year that the show would be the only game of baseball in town. That is what made me get a PS4 over the XBone.

When they say season mode, is it really just one season? Or multiple like a traditional franchise?

I don't know....but with less than 25 man rosters....I can't see how it could be much more than a one and done.
(Maybe with no injuries or trading and retiring)
Unless they plan on expanding it.

Ah, nvm, I didn't read the roster part. I think I still might try this out.

16 man rosters. I love not having to worry about 100 players in my system. I think the Show had the perfect number at 40 though.

MLB 2k ? I have it on par with what High heat was player graphic wise on the ps2 .
Mlb 2k series was doomed financially (see coach madden) and frame rate wise and thats why they had to cut the graphic quality after MLB 2k7 as it was pretty good looking for the time but unstable and a few other things .

It then went backwards player graphic wise after 2008 and the Ben B experience and gameplay wise didnt get back intil 2011-12 IMO .

Not my cup of tea right now but not much info either but RBI looks like it could have a old school feel of where skill , attributes and stats might actually matter and fun and real interaction matter a lot to me in playing a sports game unless some are just planning to watch it then they might be pretty disappointed .
