NBA 2K14 News Post

The NBA 2K14 patch for PS4 is available now and according to Ronnie, will be available "later" for Xbox One.

The patch fixes MyCAREER save file and The Park connectivity issues. If patch notes are released, we'll update this post.

Let us know what you're seeing.

Simballer has checked in with some details.

Patch 3 is the big one folks. Lots in there, so it's requiring some solid development time. This patch just resolves a few key issues to get some people playing and to ensure a few key services are functioning correctly. The lead time on patches (from when we're done to release) for XB1/PS4 is upwards of 2 weeks depending on first party load.

Close the app - then relaunch, you should see the prompt.

Addresses issues with MyCAREER save files and The Park connectivity. Coming soon on #XboxOne

Thx for answering. Ronnie2K said a couple of days ago that we were gonna be able to save rosters on the HDD. Was this fixed in this patch?

Nope. Only options are Create & Upload or Exit Without Saving.

If you get the error still that means you're going to have to restart your MyCareer ..

If this patch doesn't fix the MYCAREER freezing/crashing issues *as promised* then 2K and Visual Concepts will have gone a long way in destroying the strength and goodwill that the Xbox 360/PS3 generation built. You can't release this kind of unstable code and not be held accountable...

What about Local Saves? I was under the assumption that you would be able to save your rosters and sliders to your hard drive. Is that not the case?

So crazy that this has to be patched into the game, what was 2k thinking when it came to this game, just alot of failed ideas it seems.

LD2K, we need CLEAR YES or NO answers regarding a couple of things.

Is a MYCAREER restart required? Yes or No?
Is saving to a local hard drive in the next patch? Yes or No?

Ronnie2k's latest update was that a Roster Update is not far behind I think. Coming shortly.

I'm completely let down that the ability to have local saves is not accounted for in the patch. I'm downloading it right now, but from the feedback, doesn't look like that's the case.

#2 is a No.

Not sure about #1 since I don't have a current save for MyGM or MyCareer.

There has gotta be more to the patch than that. Those two things don't constitute a 2 GB patch.

# 19 HakeemOlajuwon @ 12/03/13 04:30 PM
there's no patch for europeans

# 20 Heroesandvillains @ 12/03/13 04:32 PM
This site is going to be in a frenzy unless patch notes are released.
