NBA 2K14 Patch Available Now For PS4 - Post Your Impressions

The NBA 2K14 patch for PS4 is available now and according to Ronnie, will be available "later" for Xbox One.

The patch fixes MyCAREER save file and The Park connectivity issues. If patch notes are released, we'll update this post.

Let us know what you're seeing.

	Patch 3 is the big one folks. Lots in there, so it's requiring some solid development time. This patch just resolves a few key issues to get some people playing and to ensure a few key services are functioning correctly. The lead time on patches (from when we're done to release) for XB1/PS4 is upwards of 2 weeks depending on first party load.

I'm experiencing it and enjoying it. I must be playing a different game than 99 percent of the people on this board cause I'm not having these issues. As for my player I can't comment as I don't play that mode. I did on ps3 but with ps4 I'm more interested in mygm. I hope everyone has their issues resolved soon so we all can enjoy this amazing game!

No idea. Ronnie2K said it was out on release day in Europe but I only have one 269mb file on my PS4, not the 2gb second patch.

So I actually got to spend some quality time with the game after the patch.... I think it broke the game more! Never had any issues before the patch (never played the park) but now after..... I can't select anything but the default home team uni in quick play. Sound in the arena is terrible....... Fix it 2k please fix it!!!!

Is it just me or does anyone else hate the animation after blocks. Everytime you get a block or attempt a block your player goes into some sluggish uniteruptible animation that takes them right out of the play. It is driving me crazy. This is not realistic at all. I mean I get a block and because I go into this animation the person I just blocked gets the ball and puts it right back in. I mean it is terrible and hindering the game for me. You don't want the player to be able to react instantly after a block, but the animations after blocks are too long and take recovery control after block attempts away from the user completely.

Here is an example of what I am talking about. There should be a stumble by Nicholson after the block but it is entirely too long, and he turns his head and completely removes himself from the play.

I just read that the Patch was already included into the release day patch, so we should have it.

This is one of my beefs too in the game. I don't mind the animation after the block, but there has to be the same animation to the offensive player.

Yeah, it is the script. It won't go away, but the script is preceeded by you running over a teammate. That's how you know that you're gonna be taken to that scene. When you notice your player randomly run through some dude, just start hammering X, because you'll send the command before the choice prompt comes up. That prompt was the crash point.

Hey guys,
are you able to unlock some trophies (PS4)?
2k smart play and "points of emphasis" just won't work for me.
I tried both in exhibition games.

Is there any logical explanation as to why the game hasn't notified me to install any of these patches? Got it with my PS4 last Thursday and all that was installed that day was an "Update File." Doesn't say any other information than that.

I've yet to receive this patch and it's been about a week now.
My last update was version 01.02 which was updated on November 29th.
I'm from Australia by the way.
Either way, I doubt this patch will resolve my issue... my MyCareer file is stuck on the shooting drill where you have to make 20 consecutive jump shots. Problem is, no matter how many you make, the counter is always stuck at 0/20. This is now beyond a joke.

Hey guys im usually an online only guy.

How is the online play now mode?

Is there any mode similar to EA's NHL 14 online EASHL(where each user online controls 1 player) So could I play with 9 other users on the court?
