Ya'll should listen to the Sim perspective radio. It was very informative, at least with what they could give.

Ea won't post a 11 on 11 regular gameplay video because no one will be able to tell the damn difference between current and next-gen. I know everyone here is criticizing this marketing. But its the only way to hide all the flaws... which they are still doing a poor job of. They don't want you to see the game in regular motion because all you'll see all the same recycled animations, defense, sidelines, stat overlays. I bet they even kept the same crap jumbo tron graphics.... FIRST DOWN!! Please NFL save me from another 8 years of lazy, half-*** football. END THE EXCLUSIVE LICENSE.

Lol everyone is saying this doesn't look next-gen and comparing it to 2k. Next-gen 2k looks the same as current gen except for lighting, unless your watching a replay you can't see any noticeable difference. Now game play changes in 2k either.

This did very little promoting the ignite engine. It looks like the same old twitch madden engine, sliding feet, locking into position. I was expecting more but never really counted on it.

I hit this dude up on twitter and look at his response lol. I guess he's just following directions from EA. We really can't blame him. He's just following orders.

Easy now and don't use my post to think you can start saying things like this. You, entirely missed my point.

We've seen GC videos for years now, when had any of them looked like this? At best they are handicam shots until they get the game and vid capture. I do a little video editing, you know how long it would take someone to put that together?

My personal belief is this guy didn't even create these, they were given to him so he could put them on his Youtube channel because he has a big following. Has he ever confirmed he made these videos?

Based on what we've seen, not even worth a $10 upgrade.
I do find it funny that some of you think it will be any different next year. This is the engine they are using for next gen football, nothing will change.
The QB throwing animations are terrible.
If you purchase this game knowing it's barely an upgrade, then you do not have the right to complain. You are giving EA your money and that speaks volumes.
You want competition, stop buying it!
I love football, way more than basketball, but you think I'm going to give them $60 to play a mediocre football game...smh.

0:48 in that video is abysmal. Instead of the guy going "look at these animations ruining the game" he talks about hair. Looks like I'll grab NBA over this since they still have not fixed that.

"...check out the snap turns of the players, check out the hair bouncing in unrealistically on that line backer, check out the, whatever-is-was, just before the unrealistic bouncing of hair, check out the guy who works for EA hyping up a game that moves similar to the current gen version, let's all check out..." Ffs.

You guys come across as a bunch of entitled spoiled brats. It doesn't look THAT bad compared to the state of the game 2-3 years ago.

i feel you on this totally, as i said, people are going to say this & that, outside of these videos this guy is showing, no one can say if its final build, but as i have read every single hate thread by so many people in this forum after clearly hearing what rex said in his interview, its just mind boggling, they will continue to rant its just how some are in here, truth be told, i believe a lot of the ones that's doing all this ( so called fussing/ranting ) will be in line picking up pre-order's quietly. it makes no difference at this point, game will be out week after next, dude it don't even matter no more...blah blah blah...

o and i support this version of madden, i also support Rex team, in making this game better.

Oh please. Been there. Done that. The masses have already spoken on this. They won't buy a football game that doesn't have either the NFL or the NCAA attached to it. Why throw good money after bad? And don't talk about customization because then you have the spectre of an NFL copyright lawsuit hanging over your head.

I hear RatedSports. And I'd be down as well. But there aren't enough of us.

You know, you may be right. The SAD fact of the matter is that EA believes this as well and it's all just noise to them.

Hell dude even thought My Player was just Superstar mode with better presentation ...

Sad.
Rex is a former college defensive lineman, Cam Weber was a QB and Clint Oldenburg is a former NFL offensive lineman. I think these guys know what football is about. They're trying to make a game based off of real football. What they're doing or trying to do has never been done before to the level they're wanting. We've never had former football guys be the leadership team for a football video game like this. These guys know football they don't have to know about Superstar or my player, they know the X's and O's of the game of football.

LOL, we have had 9 years of misery with this game, we are far from spoiled. Spoiled would be trashing NBA 2K or an MLB The Show game for one of the flaws in the game. Big difference.

I'm largely happy with those games, so I don't complain about them because it's obvious those devs are trying AND are talented and show pride in the product. This situation is totally different, totally, entirely, different.

The best you can muster is it doesn't look that bad??

We're spoiled brats complaining about the quality of a game that by your own admission "doesn't look that bad"? Not much of a defense. I guess after 9 years on a desert island Rosie O'Donnell wouldn't look that bad either.

Nothing personal friend, if you like the game good for you. The game gets more grief here because it's more of a hardcore sim crowd. Most Madden videos on YouTube have a very high thumbs up ratio, it's popular with a certain crowd. Just not as popular here.

Look on facebook.. look at the comments for their game
"oh man da people saying madden is garbage prolly jus suck at madden. 2k always sucked..." yada yada. they have their market to sell to. The NFL doesn't care what market buys it. Just that SOMEONE buys it. Lets all appreciate that the nba and mlb have realistic representations of their own sports and move on. This will never change. It feels like 2006 all over again except this time there are more game modes for the gameplay to look terrible in.
Comments like this are beyond me. You have no idea where this game is headed and to a degree neither do I, but you can't sit here and say its a joke and always will be. The negativity of the Madden threads lately is sickening.

And what did I say when Clint Oldenburg was hired? It doesn't matter unless he is CODING THE GAME.

You know who has been working on the game for a long time? A guy called JOHN MADDEN!! Guy knows his football too. Forgot more about X's and O's than we will ever know. You're trying way, way, way, way, way, too hard.
