M25 NG videos are amongst the most uninspiring and bland NG media going around at the moment.

The guy points out stuff that is largely already in the current gen version. I can only come to the conclusion whoever it is writing these voice overs must have never played a Madden game in their life before.

I would honestly struggle to pick the NG from the CG versions based on these videos.

Has JP or anyone asked the developers on twitter etc what is going on here? There's zero promoting of the next gen game. How can we all NOT read between the lines here? The Madden twitter account is clearly active and tweeting about MNF and MUT etc....and will occasionally repost old news on next gen madden...And what happened to "living worlds?" Even tho it seems we can't play the actual game till next Friday, the game comes out this Friday if BB and others are correct...what is going on here? Where's the gameplay?

When has ea ever released gameplay that's not a sizzle trailer? All madden gameplay I ever see is from someone else who has madden early. We should see some gameplay next week when those taco bell winners get their system and buy madden.

I'm curious to see what he posts tomorrow and I really don't want to be mean but MAN THAT VOICE.
Man, that voice just irritates the hell out of me. Sage said it perfectly, just corny.

Easy now on the FIFA is amazing. FIFA has made some really good strides but it still is far behind the likes of 2K and from I've heard, the Show when it comes to authenticity which in a pro sports game, should be a high priority.

For every positive in the video, there are 2 negatives. I'm so tired of getting my football fix via youtube videos of APF2K8.

Oh my goodness.

After seeing something like this, all I can really say is that I am really happy (and envious) for all of those who are die-hard basketball fans. This, along with overhauled My Career and My GM modes (seriously, read into what they've added or redone), makes me realize just what we football fans are missing out on. If what we fear becomes a reality with Madden when next gen drops, I may ignore football altogether and become a basketball fan. Just incredible...

OTher thread was closed so I guess I'll say it here...

The Devs SHOULD be replying. What other way to dispel the negative feedback than to reassure the customer that you are listening? Negative posts shouldn't cause them to just be quiet.. They should be able to reply to post and say "we are working on this in ways A, B, C". If they continue to let the negative rumors spread it will only hurt them.

Honestly it's not really that easy, because if they say they're working on "this" and want "that" in the game, and it doesn't make the cut, some members will attack and call them liars. Sometimes the way these games are developed and coded, especially Madden, things don't make it.

Just go back to the days when Ian was a heavy OS poster. He sold us some dreams that didn't make it into the game, whether his fault or not, he was attacked for it.

I don't know, I thought the last interview Rex Dickson and Clint had a few weeks ago seemed like they had a game plan in place, just based on the comments.

It's just slower than what we want based on past history of the game.

Don't tell us dreams though.. tell us the reality of the situation. The game is already done, it's coming out in a week or so. They could easily clarify what is in the game now and what they are working for for next year.

Not only that, what about huge question like "What is up with these penalties effecting the gameplay more than the sliders?". So many things in this game WE have to figure out how they work with hours and hours of tinkering when EA could just explain it to us.

This is at the Gamestop website, I doubt if the marketing is changing for this years game and next years game we will start hearing information around April, based on history.

I think Rex and Clint pretty much already did that in those interviews that were conducted.

I was referring to

No, the devs still visit and see our feedback.

They just don't post much and I can't say I blame them.
I'm just saying, they could easily post and dispel some of this negative feedback if in fact these people are wrong. Why would you not want to correct them? Why continue to read and not say "hey the sidelines are interactive. we will show more later."

I've seen plenty of questions that could get a response and would ease a lot of peoples minds about next-gen.

It just won't work and it would create extra duty for mods who work, go to school, and have a career. It was tried back in the Ian days and he received death threats.

Death threats over a video game? That's ridiculous. People need to get their priorities straight.

Sorry man. But that has rarely been the case. There are plenty of examples were one would come on a thread to set things right, and people continue to believe what they want to believe.

That is clearly the case, I mean Cam Weber, Rex Dickson, Clint Oldenburg, Kolbe Launchbaugh, all of the guys at the head of Madden next gen, and in Cam's case, near the head of EA, are telling people how they are pushing for simulation and changing the game the way it has been in the past, but almost NOBODY believes it.

I understand what you are saying, but, we need to see it to believe it. We live in a Show Me Don't Tell me world.

Now, having said that, I've seen a slight improvement heading towards the sim area, but need to see more.
