Man the forum members on here show their ridiculousness once again. I went to the comment section before watching the trailer because I first spotted it on the mobile and wanted to wait for the big screen. Of course I was I was disappointed looking at all the hate and negative comments but then discouraged went to my computer anyway. Then BAM, the trailer was quite sick, not as artistically done as the 2k trailer but to me it showed more gameplay as 2k was basically just celebration animations and break away dunks. I am stoked as both games look great. Current gen 2k still has a lot of cheese just like the previous years so I am excited for an alternative that looks quality. If they get online right this could be my go to bball game.

My word!... I thought I was watching real life footage for a moment there.

It looked okay and I liked some of the cyberfaces. Will give it a rental, plus I'm happy we have 2 NBA titles to choice from again. They'll really need to step it up another level or two in year 2 of development.

No way I would buy this game at full price. Maybe when it's $29.99

I was hoping for something more. And this isn't going off of NBA 2K14 at all. Next gen to me is about blowing up the little things. And I all I saw was what looked like a port from a 360 or a PS3.

I was looking for human like characteristics and flow to the gameplay. Nothing in that trailer other the dribbling impressed me.

EA I was expecting more. I wanted an actual competition this year.

I still see how they purposely tried to hide stuff like how the game looks in real time zoomed out. Rose's dunk was awful, and the defense seems dumber than rocks in the paint.

Just like Felton did, Amare disappeared on that layup (what the heck is up with players disappearing) and overall the movement makes the already bright colored players look like puppets.

The dribbling was cool, but I was doing similar stuff in Live 10, and the worse part about that is, you can only do stationary dribbling stuff, none of that stuff can be done while moving to throw the defender off.

I see ALOT of legacy issues in this game which is what I was hoping wasn't true, and all of the people saying that Steve Nash clip was an old build because of how it was recieved, do you still think it was an old build?
I f this was announced a ps3/360 game, people probably wouldn't be so harsh on the game, but since this is supposed to be next gen, it has some serious standards to live up to. This game should not be on ps4/xbox one.

I don't thin EA hire mocap actors To do their dunks and mocap work. If they did, clearly most of these animations wouldn't be issues. EA needs to get ahold of team flight brothers number and get to work. you can tell kyrie was the only mocapped guy, either that or he had the best sig package, cause everyone is using his package.

LOL you sound like these EA Madden fans.. Next Year will REALLY SHOW US WHAT THEY CAN DO!!

That should be EA's tagline...

"E-A- SPORTS!! WAIT FOR NEXT YEAR!!!"

Back on topic. That looks horrible, robotic and it looks like they are skating. Player models are horrible as well.

EA. I honestly think they just don't have the talent in the animation department.
LOL "EA SPORTS WAIT FOR NEXT YEAR!!". No, I'm just saying this year is their first year of making a game after many years, the pressure for them to even put out a playable game is at an all time high, that's probably their main foocus, put out a solid foundation. Now with Live 14 out shipped and nothing else they can do all the pressure is off them, people can love it or hate it but they did what they had to do.

Now Live 15 will ee different goals and different milestones, the game is out and the foundation is set, now lets really see what these systems can do. I'm almost certain they didn't get every ounce of power they could out of these systems it's the first year. NBA 2k11 was alot better than NBA 2k6, it's because they learned to harness the power of the systems.

I expect Live to learn some things this year and really develop what they already have into something even better. Kind of like what FIFA had to do when they were rebuilding their game, every year they upgraded a base technology that lead them to where they are now as one of or arguably the best soccer game out. It's because of things like a live ball and real physics that helped them accomplish that.

I feel Live can do the same. Build off bouncetek, build off the physics in the post, add more subtle animations, improve rim physics, improve ball physics, improve animations, improve graphics. This is only the foundational layer of what could become a mansion.

LOL nah man I just thought that was mad disrespectful to tell someone what to "stop" doing when I was only stating how I received the trailer. I don't care if anyone agrees or not but don't talk to me like that. He didn't even have to respond if he was gone say some stupid **** you know what I mean. I can see I won't be around here after this game drops. Some of these cats are jerks for no apparent reason.

# 233 TheBadazz @ 10/18/13 12:52 PM
It looked current gen. Had it preordered, canceling that. IMO not worth $60. I'll wait a few months pick it up used. EA should make it a digital download for $25-$30. That would generate a buzz. Animations look too herky jerky. This is suppose to be next gen right? Well in all honesty it's not.

Edit: Order cancelled

I wonder how much he was paid to do that? After seeing that trailer no one can truthfully say shots were fired from EA.

It looks like Live 10.5 and there are things that I didnt even see in that game im seeing here like players disappearing. Kyrie seemed to shift momentum between camera angle swaps in mid air and on that Rose dunk, is the rim 8 feet because either it was a serious pop up dunk or that rim was low.

Just being honest.
Not really. I say that because 2K's ball already has the physics you're talking about. Which is why it can actually be poked away, blocked out of dunks, dribbled off feet. They had that two years ago but took it out because of cheesers bitching about turnovers because they couldn't turbo the whole game without the ball bouncing off someone's foot.

A nerf gun from the early 90s.

But seriously. I am disappointed for the sake of competition. If Live gave something that made people say at the least "you know what I can see something coming with this" then imagine how these two companies would raise their game.
