It's a lot easier to use those LT modifier moves when you're out in open space. Even then, just regular R stick jukes seem to be more effective.

Haven't found it a touch too easy?

Been trying this to no avail. Anyone else have luck with this. Cause in the PS3, you can't start a game with the controller in the middle. Curious how this works?

I hope not. NCAA's just clutters the screen. Don't want it unless they can find a way to make it smaller or at least less noticeable

Winning 7-3 w/ 16 seconds left when Flacco (the cpu) gets sacked pushing them back to the 14 yard line. Instead of calling one of their 2 TO's they ran no huddle and got the snap off w/ 1 second left...

Just came off of an amazing game in which I beat the Seahawks with a well put together drive that left 30 seconds on the clock. I love how Seattle worked the sidelines. My heart was in my throat the entire time. There was not one run play called by Seattle. Russell didn't take off either. He stayed in the pocket and passed his way down the field. The game played so smart. There was even an overthrow by Russell that was so realistic. I've never seen a quarterback grab his helmet in disgust in an EA game before now. Final score SEA 20 GB 21

And my goodness Lynch was awesome in this game! I absolutely love the CPU run game. I think I am going All-Madden this year default. This is going to be a great football game, probably the best of all time!
I'm feeling the same way. I was playing on default All-Madden and having a good time and I just started tinkering with my sliders and have had a bunch of awesome and very different games on the same sliders. I played one game as the 49ers and took control of the Ravens and won 28-10 and then played that match-up again a game later and the Ravens jumped all over me and were up 10-0 before I injured Flacco and their offense completely stalled with Taylor at QB but I still ended up losing 17-10 when I threw an interception with :23 left to Lardarius Webb at the goaline. Can't wait to actually get to playing with a team I care about and messing with everything.

I heard that the OVR rating takes too much from the AWR stat. Does that seem true for the ratings in Madden 25?

Holy shiat....Im destroying teams on the ground.

I knew when I saw that they removed sliders that it looked like trouble.

Just like NCAA the new run blocking animations have made the run game too powerful.....because EA didn't give the D any new ones to combat it. Its great they did away with or severely cut back on the OL Toss Animations, but you have to give the D something to replace it with

This is a gamebreaker for me....I was already in the wait for a deal mode.

Its ridiculous, I can run Frank Gore like every play and cruise to victory

With Run Block on 0 and Tackling 100 no less

See I don't understand when people say this maybe it's because I play on All-Madden or maybe it's because my stick skills really are subpar in the run game. Either way I don't see this. Now stopping the cpu's run game I've found to be quite the challenge as occasionally my team will refuse to pursue (even when I've called the correct run direction, crash, shift, and collapse my d-line and linebackers) and the other teams back will get 20 yards easy but as I stated it's on All-Madden and either way I prefer that to having no cpu run game.

All that said though I find myself fighting for every inch when I run the ball, especially against the 49ers since Willis always seems to find his way through. I haven't had the best luck with getting a hang with the precision modifier and that may have something to do with it as well. Even so I still don't see myself getting 9+ yards a run like so many people have said. I did however get yardage like that last year though.

Now the passing game is a different story, more often than not there is always one open player on my offense that I can throw to without fail no matter the play. Coverage needs to be tightened up without a doubt as both offenses have way too many opportunities.

Now I do agree with you that the d-line needs a little more power as well on the players side as my d-line breaks down too many times on runs giving up a huge play and any sacks I see are all coverage sacks since the d-line offers no pressure. However the cpu doesn't seem to share this problem (which is also a good thing).

So yeah if you are playing on All-Pro you might be able to run all over the defense (I haven't tried it yet) however with All-Madden being less cheap this year, I have found it fixes a lot of problems. Most of my games have come down to less than 10 points difference in the fourth and a few coming down in a tie (I've won about 12 out of 16 games).

I should note though I do agree the NCAA run game being overpowered no matter the difficulty (I play on Heisman).

The overall rating is impacted significantly by the AWR stat but it changes based on position. A position like QB and FB use it more while an OL is affected more by their block ratings. A kicker's overall is affected as much by his awareness as his kick power. That I don't understand although his accuracy is most important. The one big changes this year in Madden is they removed the acceleration attribute. It's simply gone. I've looked at how they calculate the M25 ratings on offense and outside of removing acceleration they are pretty similar.

You can see the M13 ratings here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...XTVVFQmc#gid=0

I should note that last year Aaron Rodgers was actually rated 104 and capped at 99. Nobody on offense is rated above 100 this year other than AP. He actually comes in at 102 and is capped at 99 overall.

I completely agree. User run blocking is over-powered, even on All-Madden. The run blocking slider doesn't do much and it makes it very easy to pound the ball if you want. The cpu DL does not get any push and rarely gets in the backfield. Your WRs have no problem holding blocks on the outside either. With user run blocking at 0 it is still a problem and with them removing the run defense block shedding slider you don't have anything else you can do. M13 blocking sliders were very weak and so are M25 which makes it twice as bad due to them removing some sliders. This is my biggest concern with M25 right now.

Maybe it's already been said but has anyone else noticed the difference in reviews when comparing NHL 14 to madden 25???? It's night and day! The folks over in the other forum have tons more positives then negatives.

How come madden hasn't taken a page from their book?!?

Baffles me... Just saying.

I played my first game of the demo last night with Roadman's sliders and I thought the game played well.

Pass Coverage seems a little tighter than NCAA and runs up the middle (like FB Dives) weren't always money. I also saw a LB'er get injured which I haven't seen in NCAA, but then again I had a TE get injured in the NCAA demo and haven't see any injuries outside of QB, HB and WR's in the retail.

I do like the new precision modifier, but it's going to take some getting used to.

Loving the demo and having a great time. Heck, I'd buy m25 for the sole fact you can actually return a kick/punt. This actually works this year!

Think offline franchise mode might actually be really enjoyable in this game. If I'm able to lose to the CPU while playing as the 49ers w/out it being incredibly cheezy I can only imagine how competitive games will be w/ lesser quality teams

Really? I like seeing broken tackles but may have to play with this.
