Maybe it's already been said but has anyone else noticed the difference in reviews when comparing NHL 14 to madden 25???? It's night and day! The folks over in the other forum have tons more positives then negatives.

How come madden hasn't taken a page from their book?!?

Baffles me... Just saying.

Now stopping the cpu's run game I've found to be quite the challenge as occasionally my team will refuse to pursue (even when I've called the correct run direction, crash, shift, and collapse my d-line and linebackers) and the other teams back will get 20 yards easy but as I stated it's on All-Madden and either way I prefer that to having no cpu run game.

All that said though I find myself fighting for every inch when I run the ball, especially against the 49ers since Willis always seems to find his way through. I haven't had the best luck with getting a hang with the precision modifier and that may have something to do with it as well. Even so I still don't see myself getting 9+ yards a run like so many people have said. I did however get yardage like that last year though.

Now the passing game is a different story, more often than not there is always one open player on my offense that I can throw to without fail no matter the play. Coverage needs to be tightened up without a doubt as both offenses have way too many opportunities.

Now I do agree with you that the d-line needs a little more power as well on the players side as my d-line breaks down too many times on runs giving up a huge play and any sacks I see are all coverage sacks since the d-line offers no pressure. However the cpu doesn't seem to share this problem (which is also a good thing).

So yeah if you are playing on All-Pro you might be able to run all over the defense (I haven't tried it yet) however with All-Madden being less cheap this year, I have found it fixes a lot of problems. Most of my games have come down to less than 10 points difference in the fourth and a few coming down in a tie (I've won about 12 out of 16 games).

I should note though I do agree the NCAA run game being overpowered no matter the difficulty (I play on Heisman).
I'm with you bro!
I'm a Skins fan, so since I'm in that kind of offense I've been using the Hawks.
Russell Wilson is similar to RG3, Lynch is similar to A. Morris, and the PB for the Seahawks is AWesome!
I have a wide variety of Pistol formations and option runs.
Im looking forward in seeing the Skins/Shanahan PB. I even found the play action bubble screen pass/run depending on how you throw it.

I think the CPU Run D is improved on All-Madden and I haven't felt like I could just run all the way down the field. I've had to stay more balanced to catch them slippin

I'm finding All-Madden to play better than custom sliders for now.
I've lost 5 in a row to A-Rod and the Pack!
I'm seeing what a 98 over Qb should play like and he makes Ed Lacy better BC you have to play the pass.
Its been a very tough game in Green Bay every game on AM.
I've managed to lose games BC of 1 turnover at the wrong time. Which turnovers never really hurt me on AP.
I'm stoked to play with my Skins and start with All-Madden. I may tweak the penalties some but most sliders will be default exception
15min qtrs
Penalties
Autosubs, etc.

I will be nice not having to worry about tweaking gameplay sliders if AM plays like this in the retail version .

I just won vs GB but I forced a fumble early on and knocked Rodgers out in the 1st qtr.
Final 17-7 Hawks!
So All-Madden seems pretty good,;pleasantly surprised!

Re: Madden NFL 25 Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions (360, PS3)

I played my first game of the demo last night with Roadman's sliders and I thought the game played well.

Pass Coverage seems a little tighter than NCAA and runs up the middle (like FB Dives) weren't always money. I also saw a LB'er get injured which I haven't seen in NCAA, but then again I had a TE get injured in the NCAA demo and haven't see any injuries outside of QB, HB and WR's in the retail.

I do like the new precision modifier, but it's going to take some getting used to.

With user run blocking at 0 it is still a problem and with them removing the run defense block shedding slider you don't have anything else you can do. M13 blocking sliders were very weak and so are M25 which makes it twice as bad due to them removing some sliders. This is my biggest concern with M25 right now.
It's prob not the same but in NCAA 14 upping the CPU tackling makes them get off blocks and be in position to make plays more often...havnt tried it in madden 25 but I'm averaging like 12 yards a pop with Lacy on all pro kind of a bummer

Well the Pack just beat me 10-17
A-Rod didn't get hurt in this match and ended with a perfect Qb rating!

So its been a good mix of wins and losses since going to All-Madden

So this should help get my franchise going sooner.

I won't be playing around with gameplay sliders.

I may adjust a few other areas
Autosubs(assuming it works this yr)
Mins: 15 qtr.
Penalties
Injuries
Will have these tweaked thru preseason

Loving the demo and having a great time. Heck, I'd buy m25 for the sole fact you can actually return a kick/punt. This actually works this year!

Think offline franchise mode might actually be really enjoyable in this game. If I'm able to lose to the CPU while playing as the 49ers w/out it being incredibly cheezy I can only imagine how competitive games will be w/ lesser quality teams
