EA, you truly have been a joke this entire generation and I don't expect anything different from you!

My number one reason while I feel EA lacks passion for developing sport games and why they simply don't care about their product.

It's as if they got the license just so that other companies can't use it as effectively as 2k did back in the day.

I'm holding out on buying Madden 25 to see if full version has dissapearing players as well.

I simply can't see how next gen madden will be that much superior after seeing the IGN practice field video...doesn't matter HOW OLD that build is. The foundation is there (which looks terrible) and tinkering etc. can only improve it so much.

I expect to see an incredible amount of fluff in terms of sidelines, crowds and graphics.

I hope I'm wrong...really I do. Been playing since Madden 98.

I wonder if something as simple as assisted tackles will work in next gen Madden. I'm willing to bet money it won't.

So much has been said already to which I repeat, Madden is just stale now. My take is that the only thing different is the doing the read option plays. The "trainer"mode is just things Madden has already done but just broken down into different button formats to make it appear "new." I mean lead passing, Madden 06, Running tips, Madden 09. The game just needs a revamp overall. Presentation and give me the Tecmo Bowl view or something, the REAL view to where the screen pulls back so I can see the whole field.

The game does play smoother, but due to the lack of no fun factor, M25 is not for me. The only way this game sells will be due to football fans itching that itch to play a football videogame and fantasy football heads. The Demo did nothing for fun facto. I will rent from redbox just to see if the connected career has improved the intelligence in reguards to the season's meaning anything as you progress, something simple like your last season being acknowledged.

Yes numerous people have reported that teams play a lot more like themselves. Packers passing a lot more etc.

So many OVR: 0 people posting this time of year makes me avoid this forum for the most part.

As for my thoughts on the demo. I loved it for the most part. Big fan of the camera angle used in the demo. Pass defense animations are much much smoother.

I play strictly in a 32 man Connected Franchise so AI bugs don't bother me. Gameplay is much smoother than last year in all aspects.

Just because someone is an OVR: 0 doesn't make their opinion invalid. People are frustrated with this licensing and this is time of year it is going to show. The NFL has the biggest following and the worst representation in video games of all the major sports franchises. It's frustrating.

The PS3 players disappearing bug is absolutely ruining this demo for me. It is so frustrating. It seems to happen more in the Ravens/49ers game- so I have been playing the Green Bay and Seahawks game more. Sometimes they reappear the next play- sometimes it is the next series.

I will admit, I really enjoy the game when I can actually see my team. And when I finally was able to see the Skills Trainer prompts.

People's expectations are ridiculous... That's the problem. What are they comparing Madden to? The graphics are good, owner mode looks awesome and every major complaint from last year appears to have been dealt with ie fantasy draft and 32 team control, yet somehow people have found more to complain about based solely off of a demo

Played the skill modifier stuff and found some of the additions confusing. Hold left trigger and push up to bowl over defender, why exactly do I need a modifier to do something that should be based on positioning and the stats of the runner and the defender when i push up on the right stick? Seems like an extra layer of complexity that will be quickly forgotten.

The precision passing drills were interesting as once the defense was added in they kept jumping the route. In the game scenario I noted that ball hawk seems to be relative ineffective as I hardly found my defender in position to make the play and a few time switching to the defender actually put me out of position to make the tackle.

I noticed that the graphic engine seems a little different, the characters looks a little more fake than normal this year. I also noted that the locomotion when transitioning from one move to the next can seem a bit jarring, nothing to big but you do notice it.

The wide angle view is just no good even on a large screen it makes the characters too far away to enjoy for me so I will not be using it.

The running game seems to have had a number of improvements and I think I noticed less sucking tackling, but will need more games to determine. Not sue if I found it very fun at this point so not a day 1 buy for me but will continue t play demo and see what the general consensus is this year before buying

I like the demo. Physics are a little tighter than NCAA 14. Running game is smother, but could be a bit overpowered on the defense this year. Passing game seems the same as last year to me. Demo does have bugs, dumb demo camera angle though. As long as you can change camera to your liking and invisible bug is not in the retail version, then I think the game would be fun!

I had to wait for final confirmation, but a fix for the vanishing players is included in Title Update #1, which will be available for download when the retail game launches on 8/27.

In other words... no vanishing players in the retail version. Apologies to those experiencing it in the demo.

The more I play the camera angle is starting to grow on me. I think hooking my xbox up to my larger tv helped out too.

Now fix the assisted tackles issue and I'll buy you a beer :

FYI - The traditional Madden camera angle is in the retail version. It's called "Legacy" in the camera options.

Glad you're liking the new one though. I personally like seeing all my WRs pre-snap.

Thanks, Good to know. The wide view is growing on me as well, but I'll most likely fall into my comfort zone in the retail version with Legacy cam.

AJ, anyway the DE's can get a better push off the ends, even the tackles. There are several seconds in the pocket without pressure from the 4 DL.

Tuning, etc.......

Please take this to the developers. Also, as long as you are here, the holding penalty seems to have disappeared, along with the normal non-DPI and OPI calls. Any way those penalties can be tuned. Same thing with NCAA.

By the way, NCAA has a better pass rush from the outside.

Thanks for looking into it.
