What slider adjustments have you made?
The default slider sets like all-pro and all-madden were designing for AI vs. AI. If you are sitting there watching the CPU going at it, game would look awesome. If you plan on playing the game, you cannot leave it at default settings. You need to take the time to invest into slider testing or start with a set from the slider forum and adjust as need be. No one should be playing default sliders when playing against the CPU.

Any insight on whether it will be the same system we saw in M13 where certain players weren't available until later rounds?

I know I can never truly judge except for myself, because everyone is different, but I wonder what has you so positive that this will finally be "the Madden we've all been waiting for".
All this being said, Im trying so hard to get excited for August 27.
When JP first joined and started posting, I had mixed feelings about him and his impressions on the game. As time went on I feel I've gotten to know more about him and his passion for NFL football and I now respect him as one of the top members on here (roadman is still my fav).

After being on this board for years and seeing all the Madden hate out made me take a different approach to football gaming. Play the game and enjoy it. Don't analyze it because it is going to have flaws, probably many of them. In the past I have rationalized the flaws into a little story in order for my brain to overlook them and have fun.

Playing this demo has taken what was great about Madden13 and made it better. Yes, this is just Madden 13.5 and yes, the next gen systems will be a port from current gen with improved aesthetics. This product is good. People have worked hard to create it.

Madden is back to a point where there isn't much to complain over. You will still get the people with negative attitudes and want a perfect 1:1 ratio of game to real NFL. They can have their opinions, but there are solid facts in place where one can determine this is a good game.

...end rant.

Shakes magic 8-ball...

Future looks dim.

I have a feeling it's the same.

I have read on this forum it will be the same format as M13...which is a little bit of a letdown (for online leagues it stinks IMO) but for offline guys like me who play against the CPU not a real issue at all.

Any one else throw an INT to an invisible defender yet? I just did. TE was wide open over the middle so I threw it to him and all of a sudden I was picked off by an invisible defender and just the ball was going back the other way LOL

Will NOT be buying this garbage

I'm having a lot of fun with the demo, but while I was playing a game today something funny happened. Rodgers glitched out and disappeared for a drive, so whenever I passed there was a floating ball running around. I took a picture pre-snap. Having an invisible quarterback would be a pretty good advantage.

see my post above you, just had it happen again. Does EA not play what they put out to the public?

I thought it was kind of funny, now half of the O-line is gone along with Lacy and Rodgers. Hopefully this is just a demo thing.

So after waiting 5 hours for the game to download (bad internet connection) I finally got to play and I was done within 5 minutes. Tried playing the skills challenge but I was confused as to what to even do. Unlike past games instructions did not come up at the beginning.
No biggie I thought, I will try playing a game with my favorite 49ers. After the Ravens had the ball the whole first quarter and Flacco was 5-5 for 72 yards, no matter what I played he passed the ball a second before getting hit and the guy was always open. Then I get to finally play offense, first play was a run up the middle for 22 yard with Gore and then the game glitched and half the team disappeared.
I am tempted not to waste my money on another EA game for the pure fact that this is just ridiculous, after the crap that was called Madden 13 last year I thought this year they would put effort in. Then the demo doesn't even work.

Has ea came out and say anything about the disappearing players. How can they put that out in a demo? Out of the 3 games I played it happen 3 times.

Its happening alot it looks like. I dont get how they can put out a demo with disappearing players? They must have known about it when testing out the demo before release, its happening to everyone. I get not all demos are 100% perfect but c'mon. Oh well, thats $60 more in my pocket, no worries. Unless the PS4 version impresses me

Imagine the repercussions if some other developer was able to make a NFL game this year.

I've played a good amount of games since yesterday and I think Madden 25 is good enough for me to trade in my NCAA towards it. There aren't a lot of major changes, but the gameplay is smooth and I'm having some fun games on All-Madden. Plus, I'm just a bigger fan of the NFL game. The camera view isn't a big deal to me at all.

I made a comment in another thread about the hit stick being lethal in Madden 10. I'm pleasantly surprised to see that it has made it's return this year. After seeing hardly any in NCAA, it's kind of nice to be able to create some game-changing turnovers. This should hold me over nicely until I see more of the PS4 version of the game.

I think the demo is great, but I've experienced this weird glitch where some of the players disappear but the shadows are still visible. The players are still there, but you can't see them.
