Has anyone else noticed receivers are like facing back towards the QB instead of straight ahead?

I've seen them look towards the center to see when the ball is snapped as they should be doing instead of straight ahead.

Probably because you're amazing at the game...

Haha same, I didn't play Madden 11 much, but I never even knew that existed.

I find the loading screens interesting. On one hand there is the idea nostalgic idea of detailing past features. However there is also that feeling of seeing good features and thinking why did they ever take that out.

Just played 2 games with my buddy, first time not playing against the CPU. Both games were defensive games w/ me losing the first game 17-7 and winning the 2nd game 20-3. Defense felt really good at all levels. We were both able to generate good pass rush, LB's were playing zone coverage fairly decently, and the secondary was making a lot of plays and contesting passes left and right.

We both really struggled to run the ball besides a 55 yard run I had w/ Russ Wilson. The RB's really feel slow when they first get the ball and don't seem to accelerate at all. Anybody else noticing this?

For what it's worth, I was watching a YouTube video of the demo of one of the guys who attended the July community event and he said the demo is an extremely old build from around March and the last one he played was loads better than this

That concerns me more than anything else. It was a similar story last year, except the demo was superior. I think too much tinkering can have a negative effect.

I hope they fix the assist tackles not working. That's for sure. Second year in a row it's not working.

I would imagine so. With the sony and Ms certification process length the demo is usually an outdated build. I would guess that the e3 videos might be a later build than the demo as well.

I'm sorry but playing defense again this year is just plain stale. Is it really that difficult to implement a defensive player lock similar to NCAA?

No buy again this year.

Only issues I have is the CPU RB still breaks to many tackles and the CPU o-line is to overpowering

Dont trust EA after what they said they would fix the missing club problem in this years tiger woods .When you played the other guy would putt with just the putter handle sound familiar missing players.Even if you hate golf go on EA click on TW and check it out and ask them what they will do if your playing online and half your team is gone. BTW that was back in june its like they left town with our money and said so long suckers

unless this is a build from the first week of development it makes matters worse that 3+ months in development the game had not gotten any improvements to its core issues.

at this point the only reason i see to buy madden is if they allow us to add/ customize the game by adding playbooks to teams with the new sharing options etc.

this debate of whether the AI is better is pointless because we all know it is the same as every year. they tweak some run vs pass rations but the same ugliness still prevails AT KEY MOMENTS.

4 verts on 3rd and long
hurry up under 2 minutes to the half( no matter if the cpu has a 3 td lead)
4 verts on 1st down in that hurry up to the half
4 verts from the redzone
timeouts at the same time EVERYTIME
cpu not knowing who its best player is

i am still willing to give this game a shot if EA will help me help them get it right.

1. The entire game feels stale
2. Commentary still sucks
3. NFL 2K5 still blows Madden out of the water in overall presentation (legit pre-game, halftime, post-game shows and wrap-ups, even a week to week ESPN segments) Why EA has never taken advantage of ESPN license I will never understand
4. The audible system is still garbage and they need to adopt NCAA 14 style audible system
5. I should be able to run a hurry-up offense on incomplete passes, this garbage of a game doesn't even allow me that ability

EA, you truly have been a joke this entire generation and I don't expect anything different from you!
