Is there a thread in the os community or any other community that you can post on the internet? I was just wondering if they will use the communities to fix some of the issues were having with the game. So far, I'm enjoying the demo. With the help of the gaming community, we can make the best game possible when the game drops on july 9th.

Lost 22-15 to A&M. Manziel was unstoppable. now i screwed around at the goalline with no time left and got stopped on a draw play with no time left, but i was really impressed with the improvement to the CPU defense. physics makes defense a lot harder too

im really going to enjoy abusing Tech now with Bama upfront

-Punt return animation where your returner moves backwards and forwards and doesn't catch the ball

-Most zone defenses are useless

-Every kick off goes deep into the endzone (fixable with sliders)

-I can stop CPU HB screens about 90% of the time and about 75% of the time come up with a sack.
Try mixing zone defenses a little more sparingly. They've done a good job for me thus far, especially when I'm getting a lot of passes into the flats.

As far as the screens go, I'm not sure what to tell you. Most of the time, the CPU has owned me with it or scrambled out of it.

I didn't know what to expect either. Coordinator mode I felt too far away, wide mode seemed to be the most comfortable because it zooms in a bit once the play gets started.

The zoom mode is great for running and option plays, but passing plays (especially a swings and screens,) you're kind of in the dark. I honestly think they put that camera mode in the game because of the "over 30 new option plays," and people are going to use option based offenses a lot more now because of that.

I wish they had a "create your own camera," like on FIFA. I'm almost positive they had one on NCAA in the past.

What would be great, is if you could change the camera mode on the fly. If you are calling a run play you could press a button to change the camera mode to the zoom, if you audible out of the run play you could press the button again to go into wide or coordinator.

Edit: I just figured out a compromise (at least on Offense) if you are using the Zoom camera. If you are calling a run play, you leave it as is, but if you are calling a pass play, you can press the button to hot route a WR, then cancel it. When you do that it keeps the camera in what seems to be wide.

I forgot about doing that on almost every pass play in NCAA 13, still works in this game.

I am loving this demo.
If the shovel pass hit the ground it should have been an incomplete pass.

I think the Read Option may be a little overpowered. I ran it literally every single play with Oregon on Heisman difficulty and got a first down almost every time.

I'm loving this. Had an epic 2nd OT battle as Texas A&M vs Oregon, I was running latest dinner with my fiance so I went for 2 to win it, could have made it to at least a 3rd OT if I didn't have somewhere to be. Johnny Football finished with 111 yds through the air for 3 TDs and 1 INT and 90 yds on the ground.

I really enjoy the Nike Skills thing, I used to have fun on Madden with the mini games so this helps me relive that and it has also helped me run the option more effectively.

I can't wait to get home to play the other matchups.

Yea I got killed many times when a RB or WR made a cut running a route because I am so used to basically stopping on a dime to cut and stay with them...now momentum will carry your guy farther out of position. Its frustrating...but I love it!

Is anyone else only getting night games in the demo? I've seen videos of afternoon games, but to change the game time is grayed out for me. How are you guys getting this?

# 337 HozAndMoose @ 06/18/13 09:44 PM
One of the little things i love is the missed pitch. I went to pitch it and it hit the lineman in the stomach. Last year it would have been an automatic fumble recovery. But this time it bounced off of him and went back a few yards.

I believe it's because it's using their Weather Channel plug-in. It's night time in most of the places the games are played, so the games are at Night. I was playing the Ohio vs. Michigan game around 3 when the demo was out, and it was sunny.

Very pleased with '14. I played as Michigan, and had a good game winning 10-0, AA, default sliders, slow speed, threshold at 40.

Only td was by me on a GLORIOUS 75 yard punt return TD by (#10 Gallon) that was my first touch with the ball. Special teams blocking is improved!

+ user running game is noticeably better. Couple of foot plant/change of directions were perfect.
+ I'm loving he stamina guage. At one point I was totally drained to red w/ my QB as I was scrambling, got popped and fumbled, but it squirted out of bounds, so no turnover.
+ I really enjoyed spying Braxton Miller, which I did as the user every play. I kept him in check pretty good overall, but he juked me out of my shoes twice. It definitely felt different containing a scrambling CPU QB.
+ Best, most surprising play of the game was a sack I suffered: My pocket collapsed, I was flushed out to the side and hit speed burst to gain a bit of separation as I was looking downfield, but to my surprise the DE dove at my feet and got a sack with a shoestring tackle. Awesomeness.
+ Balance between my stats and CPU were pretty close. Time of possession very close. I was 3/8 passing, but shoulda been 4/8 'cause my my HB dropping an easy pass on a short hitch. Miller was 5/10. 1 sack per team. (only turnover was a late CPU int at end of game)
+ loved that the CPU was calling, and hitting some quick screens.

- CPU seemed a bit frenetic, but I think a lot of it had to do with the fact that I jumped out early with the special teams TD, and since the quarters were so short, they were in hurry-up, 2 minute drill type of mode much of the game.
