So I don't remember which team I was using but the other day I was running a motion set out of 5 wide that motioned in to a WR screen, there were other options on the play in the playbook too. I was 100% sure it was with LSU but when I picked them today they had about 4 shotgun sets, I checked Bama (who have a insane amount of shotgun sets) and it wasn't there either...

I've tried all the teams and can't find it. Anyone know which play I'm talking about?

After playing this a lot more, I've ran into some glitches that were in NCAA 12, at least for me.

During a "Heisman Challenge" game, I used the hurry up. At one point during the hurry up, I was forced to use a timeout because it would not let me pick a play, it would not let me audible and it would not let me hike the ball.

Another time, the play screen stayed up on the screen until I hiked the ball so I was unable to read the defense.

The Demo is on Varsity, however. It is harder than it was on Varsity last year, IMO. In 12, it was a 95% completion. It's still to easy, but it's much harder.

Played another game last night, Kstate(me) @ Baylor. Couple things I noticed:

AI blocking for the triple option is pretty bad. Seemed like my tight end and tackle both gave up on their blocks as I got near them when running(if not before).

Passing over the middle is SMOOTH! Threw a couple soft passes over the MLB to my slot receiver on a post route. Awesome!

Ran a fake FG from the 9 yard line with no time left in the 4th and down 3. Got it and won. Didn't see a celebration or anything. Might be b/c this is just a demo. Was one of the few times I've actually converted on the fake FG pass.

CPU cannot run a screen. QB just keeps running backwards and get sacked everytime (that I have seen). I am able to run the screen pretty well on the other hand. Pretty solid AI blocking upfield (kudos to EA).

Thats all for now. Pretty happy with what I've seen so far....a modest, but nice, update to last years game. I think recruiting in the real dynasty mode might be pretty cool though.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned in the last 100 or so pages, but choosing Punt Return Middle seems to prodce optimal success on punt returns while choosin PR Left or Right rarey seems to produce any success at all.

Not in the "regular" video games store. The best way is to order it online.

Am I the only one who has yet to see the score ticker at the bottom of the screen? Played three games, and have yet to see it.

Yea. I get the Studio Updates frequently enough, but I have not seen the ticker.

Like Dylan asked, are you playing Dynasty? It doesn't show up in "Heisman Mode". It doesn't leave the screen when you're playing a Dynasty.

Something unfortunate during a game when I was LSU against Alabama. Alabama ran a fake punt run on 4th and 15+. Now, it only happened once so far but I hope this doesn't happen a lot.

See above post, but yes, I am playing in dynasty mode. Played the Alabama-LSU game straight through and didn't once see the ticker. Second game I tried changing the tempo each quarter. Nothing.

Seems like passing on the deep ball is too easy. The db's need to put up a fight. I am hoping the sliders do what they r supposed to do this year.

One of the main things I disliked last year: CPU playcall logic. All the plays they chose to run sucked and made playing defense hella easy

With the demo Oregon actually scored once because I committed everyone to the left and they ran right for 30 yards and the TD. Nice to see. LSU also moved the ball and hit open receivers down field. CPU WR's ran some nice routes

I'm impressed with the demo, plus the screens seemed perfect.

I also like the new catching animations. I'm excited.

Try changing your tv setting for picture aspect ratio size. I had the same thing but it was because the picture was zoomed in too much, 52 inch.

I had the same issue. What I discovered while playing around is the ticker doesn't appear if your Xbox (if you have Xbox, don't know about PS3) is set to normal viewing mode. I don't mean it's simply not on screen, I mean it doesn't appear at all, it's gone. It's a widescreen-only feature. You have to set the Xbox to widescreen for it to show up. I have no idea why but apparently EA programmed it that way.

I generally like the demo. EA seems to have addressed most of the problems last year's game had but left alone the things that worked, which was good. Last year's game was generally very good except for a few major issues. Blocking still could use some work but it's not terrible.

The lighting at the night game (LSU-Bama) seems darker than it should be, distractingly so.

I've had two real issues with the demo, one being it froze on me at one point and the other being the issue I mentioned in the earlier post about the ticker not showing up because I don't have a widescreen TV to set my Xbox to widescreen. I don't understand why EA would think only people with widescreen TVs should be able to get the ticker but if you don't have one you probably aren't going to be able to see it. I know I can't.

I haven't tried the Heisman challenge yet. It seems pretty pointless to me but I'll give it at least one go soon.
