Less woooo's, more cameras and I'm a happy man.
I did like that they added fans hollering at the player shooting free throws. There was at least one male and female voice yelling something like, "let's go Jason Kiiid.." at the line. I would have liked it to sound a bit more echo-y like it it should be in an arena, but still cool.

You can still do it, but you basically have to do a hop stop layup, but release before the layup is performed, almost like a pumpfake. So yes and no, there is not button for it, but it's still possible to do one, just more difficult. It's a great move to do though, to fake and reverse back in the other direction, either like a Rondo fake or a Kobe spin shot. I love that aspect of this game!

I agree with that... it's just that one long, loud "woooooooorrrooooooooooo" all screechy and blood boiling. Can't un-hear it! Haha, I hope they can remove that one byte, but if not, it's a very small issue.

Do you guys realize we all sound like a bunch of crack addicts???

Anyway...Sim players dream as I've stated before.

Can't touch LeBron without a foul being called. Had Kidd plant his feet for a few seconds and LeBron got the blocking foul called on J Kidd.

At least they have the refs being realistic.

(Not sarcasm)

Great game though, missed a lot of wide open shots and I had some trouble driving the lane, but I'm not complaining I've been out of basketball for a while.

Its one of the little things... but every time I press pause there is a different NBA player picture in the menu.

Some of the best ones I've seen so far is Lebron guarding Melo, Blake Griffin and David Lee guarding each other, Rondo and KG, and Kevin Martin

I've played about 30 games now and I must say I love it too.
Like everyone's said, the game just feels smoother and more polished. It's all the good stuff from 2K11 and they seem to have fixed the bad stuff.

Me and a friend always said that if they were to just tweak 2K11 and add all the glitter around it I would buy 2K12 in a heartbeat, and it looks like I got even more than that.

I also need to give props to whoever made the courts. The Mavs court looks awesome! It looks like real wood! All the screenshots I've seen so far also have great courts. If 2K sees this, tell him thanks from this random OS forum member

The only negative I have to say from the demo is that I would've liked to be able to have a 2 player mode. My friend and I always play against eachother and it would be fun to play this demo against each other.

The fact that it's stripped down doesn't really matter. I would like to have some more features in the demo, but that's just cause I want to play this game even more

PS3 version is the reason I play on Computer now. Just like everyone else has mentioned the ps3 version looks low quality. Doesnt have that gloss the 360 version had just like last year.

My intro when it loads the game just have a 2k symbol and lights flashing and I can see the different animations around the court. Unlike the 360 version mines doesnt zoom into the action. All I see are random animations lol. Im guessing bad download or something. All in all ps3 version looks horrible and ashy or maybe im just used to playing on computer.

I really feel bad for the ps3 users but I guess we are used to being the low quality port of multi platform games.

This has to be the best looking PS3 version of a 2k game yet, is it just me ? crowd is still triangular but the players are stop on and smooth.

i have ps3 demo. it looked ok. to me it didnt look that much different from 2k11. granted ive only played it once. why is it only one quarter of play and no anouncing? oh and why no time outs and not even a couple plays to call? im sorry but just on not having just a four quarter game alone, i cant say im all that impressed. then again maybe its because im not a hardcore video basketball player lol. i have nba 2k11 and i like it alot, but i just cant see the big difference between the 2k11 and based on what ive seen so far in the 2k12 demo. anybody slightly agree?

BABYTHUG23, I'm really curious about yours impressions regarding graphical differences on both consoles. Can you see any? Or both demos are the same? I can only count on you because probably there will be no articles about graphical differences and I still didn't chose which version should I buy

The demo does look good. Just a few things missing that are in the 360 version. This morning when I woke up there were already vids on youtube of the demo for the 360. I was hoping that the ps3 would be a little closer to that quality. Missing cameramen were expected but when that little bug pops up with Lebron and Dirk in the corner announcing 2K12 coming soon or whatever it says doesn't show up in the PS3 version it's a little sad. Hopefully that's been fixed for the retail version.

dont know what game u guys where playing but my impressions on playing one game was it was way to slow on gameplay, dunks seemed slowed down, graphics where nice, i posted up and my center did a hop step to the three point line... i pressed the def on inbound throw in and they threw to sg and he stopped in the back court and i posted between him and the pg and he did nothing 8 sec call... shots are going to be a little diff to use, because i never used mavs and dont really like them. Just my impressions on 1 game tho, going back to play another in a little bit... will post more..

Hopsteps are done with LT (L2) and the Left Stick

Ok its really bugging me .. I'm hoping its due to the early build .. But I really hate 90% of the dunks I've seen so far ... No Emotion. Chandler DUNKS with passion most times .. all i see is soft stuff .. 2k11 was the first time I felt like there were a lot fluffy DUNKS .. and seems they made here way in to 2k12

Other then that everything is good and somethings are great!

0ct 4th hurry up !

I just played both versions and while some things appear to be missing from the ps3 version, both games seem to play very smooth. I just love how they have fixed Dirk's shooting animation from last year. Also, the post moves are easier than ever to pull off!!

Can't wait to get the full game baby!!

I thought the gameplay was a little to quick at first actually, but I've grown into it. For stuff like a pump fake and spin into a shot, it just happened so quickly, but I'm getting the hang of it. Dirk's really the only one I like shooting with.
