4) Caron dunked over bosh, bosh feel backwards, and butler walked over him staring down
5)Better court reflections on PS3 i think.

One problem though, when you guys do the "push ball out and run" animation does it automtically go into the half spin right afterwards or am i doing something wrong?
Also to those who have played both: Do you think there is a big difference between PS3 and 360 graphically wise? Or is it more even than years past?
The Half Spin is also the RT, maybe you are double tapping, or holding it too long or something, but I am having no such issues.

Okay, that fan soundbyte that goes "wooooooooooooooooooo" HAS GOT TO GO. I'm praying someone from 2k Sports answers my prayers. That is extremely annoying, and it replays every 30 seconds or so. Ugh...

The only negative I see so far is that PS3 still doesn't have the camera men under the basket like the 360. Not a big deal but it's a bit sad seeing that after watching all of the 360 demo vids this morning then booting up my PS3 to see the same product with missing details.

What's this watered down ps3 talk? Was the final game watered down last year or just demo?

I'm just saying the 360 demo has the cameramen on the baseline and the PS3 doesn't.

One more thing I noticed. On the 360 version, during a whistle, a little crawl pops up in the corner with Lebron and Dirk and it says NBA 2K12 Coming October 5 but little Lebron and Dirk don't show up on the PS3 version. Maybe I'm missing something. Back to gaming.

Mine took about 5.

Some things I've been noticing so far:

It definitely feels like I'm more in control of the players than last year, but the game still feels kind of floaty. Most times I brought this up nobody felt like they'd seen it, and since most people play 360 I have to assume it's just a problem with the PS3 version. It's really hard to beat your defender or even pull off dribble moves for me right now, like I can't even do a crossover consistently. I play and love Broadcast camera so I don't think that's the issue...maybe the controls are set to Absolute or something? I play camera relative.

Colors seem really, really dull compared to all the videos I've seen, or even 2K11. It's like there's a filter on the game; I don't mind it I guess, but it looks a lot different.

I like how responsive the post up button is, I went with a Butler crossover on LeBron and hit the triangle out of habit for a stepback jumper but he went right into a backdown and put pressure on LeBron as soon as he got close enough. It was seamless.

The layup A.I. seems a lot more intelligent, I drove with Rudy and kicked it to Dirk as the two defenders in the paint rose up to contest. Dirk used the rim to protect the ball and went around the basket to the other side instead of just putting up a dinky little shot.

Like the past two years dribbling feels completely different, I'm having a hard time pulling off moves. The post up stuff also gives me a bit of a hard time, but one thing I'm not noticing that happened every time last year was that I can do a shimmy fake or an aggressive up and under fake and still do other moves besides a face-up after. In 2K11 if I tried to do any sort of combo move after a fake I would just do little shoulder fakes, I couldn't do an up-and-under for example.

PS3 demo seems to start up much slower than 360, I noticed the Up Next screen would always seem to get cut off early in videos but here you see both players' stats clearly and then get to look at the 2K logo for 10 seconds.

I love the stat overlays, I hope we get to see a ton of them throughout a full length game. In particular, they showed an overlay with the game's largest lead, the number of lead changes and another stat I can't remember. Great stuff.

Also, on my second playthrough the intro By the Numbers graphics still played out but the camera stayed looking at one end of the court and all the things you'd normally see in the stylish presentation happened like ghosts flashing in and out of focus for 1-3 seconds. It was a really bad glitch and hopefully not in the retail product. The numbers still flew across the screen too.

I just saw J-Kidd dribble off Dirk's foot trying to start the break with the new push-ball animation. Very nice, definitely going to be a useful change for online against turbo abusers, you can't just blast off across the court if you get ahold of the ball in a crowd.

Like someone else mentioned, the LeBron-Dirk animation is not in the PS3 version.

The post up button is awesome, though. You can do fairly complex stuff from last year really simply now. I just engaged Bosh on the high post, rolled off his left to the left low block, re-engaged and went into a one-legged fade over my right shoulder in the span of 3 seconds with just three button presses. It's awesomely responsive and looks as unstoppable as it should in the hands of a guy like Dirk.

Haha, I just dribbled to the baseline and ran right out of bounds. I LOVE THAT. There was no force field or anything, Rudy just stepped right out. going to take a lot of skill to toe the line this year.

Dribble moves are taking some time to get used to (launches and size-ups) as are the post moves, but I'm really like the looks of this. I tried cheesin' my way into a euro step and got transferred into a bad shot a half step into the euro step....that's the way I like it. I am having a real tough time in the paint, is anyone else struggling in there also? I'm missing layup after layup, but I do admit that the mid-flight shot re-directions look awesome and very smooth. I do like the up and under's when pump faking a step back or something, but my percentage is very low.

I pulled the Rondo layup with JKidd, that's probably my highlight. I haven't gotten out on the fastbreak much but I just need to play more....that's why!

Just got called for a shooting foul as D-Wade was passing out of a bad layup attempt. Really? And had a Dirk layup hit the back of the backboard, i thought that was resolved automatically?

I drove baseline with Dirk, someone was coming in to help, and Dirk pulled (or tried to pull) a Dr. J and swung the ball out behind the backboard as he was jumping underneath the basket. he missed the layup but got fouled. crazy

chased down wade with dirk for a blocked dunk, bosh got the rebound, and by the time he put it back up for a layup, dirk recovered and swatted that too. ****. the crowd went pretty nuts for it.

Other than the weird continued lack of cameramen and that awful fan soundbyte, this game is as close to perfect as perfect can be.

Less woooo's, more cameras and I'm a happy man.
