i have to say im impressed...if somehow 2k managed to deal with mods, these improvements should make CREW games beautiful....they'll allow players to play different instead of everybody having the same exact abilities.

Yeah, I might be spending ample time on MP this year. Last year it was just sort of a way to try something different when I didn't really wanna play a regular game. Color me excited.
I find it interesting to see that you have (get) to buy signature shots. I wonder if to start you just get to chose from the ones like Waves, Textbook, etc, and if Kobe's shot cost more than say.....Caron Butler's. I wonder....
I also think that the Creating a Legend mode will be pretty sick. Probably similar to myplayer, but getting to start out with a player like Durant or anybody. Awesome!

Good read. Seems like this mode will great again this year. Makes me wonder how much better they made association mode this year? Does anyone know when they will do the insight for association mode??
I'm not buying 2k now...forget that...all that my player talk (bull crap) and he failed to tell me if I put ankle braces on my player, can I put socks on over top of em....I was waiting to see if I could adjust the length of my freaking shorts....or if I could get the Amare shades or Rip's facemask....eff 2k, they aren't getting my money.....SYKE...

....man ..... im taking wed thru n friday off.... oct4 5 n 6 ..... but the only thing i think they might be missing is a trophy case a ring case show my all my accalades off ... then it would be perfect ... damn 2k u still 60 from me every year .... i cant stand u guys... lol

I'm not a my player fan... I'm all about the sim online community .. But just from an admiration stand point this insight speaks to what makes 2k basketball special. They know they have a good game, they know they have no comp, they know they have a diverse audience to appeal to, and yet they keep making several, impactful changes to improve an already stellar experience! Big ups 2k... U have EARNED my 60 this year again. Got my ear glued to the floor waiting for information on online association!

bummer, no mention of custom sliders. I would trade all of that new stuff in for only sliders being added.
what good is a great new playcalling system in My Player if Ray Allen continues to shoot 13% from wide open 3's every time you run a play for him? or if everytime I penetrate as a PG and kick it to a wide open Pierce or Allen they ignore the disgustingly open look to instead drive into the clogged up lane I just collapsed to put up a ******** contested brick?
any 2k12 gameplay improvements will get old soon if we can not tweak them to our individual liking. some people love scoring 40 pts a game and dominating the action, I don't want to have to do that to get wins. that to me is boring. I can limit my own attributes which is fine, but I can't tweak my teammates.
if My Player had sliders last year, I'd still be playing that mode no doubt. hopefully they are in, but I'm starting to get a bad feeling..I love this mode, but have to quit every year for the same reason...
